Been here a few times, great service and great food every time. Must be the best cafe in Wrexham. The pie and chips I had this week were delicious. Can't wait to visit again.

Always loved this cafe but lady was rude and unwelcoming. Wont be returning now.

Greeted with smiley happy staff, service quick, food quick and delicious. I had food envy when I seen home made chips on my son’s plate. They where lovely. Highly recommend. Can’t wait come back.

I called in this morning for a breakfast to set me up.for the day.. I was welcomed by very friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection. I also had a cup of tea which was made just how I like it.. 'THANK YOU .' .... I have already recommended to my friends and I'll be calling in again :)

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. The staff are amazing and really friendly who will have a joke with you. The chips are home made and the food is always hot, plus my other half is very fussy about her food and always leave an empty plate. This place is very highly recommended and in my eyes, is the best place to eat in Wrexham. Give it a try, I guarantee, you won't regret it.

Ordered bacon and cheese panini it was ok but I've had better. Waitress taking our order wasn't interested in small talk interrupted me by telling me she had a timer on her and walked off.

Excellent food, fresh and hot. Very clean place. Service wonderful, very welcoming. Definitely making it my regular when I'm hungry in Wrexham.

Great burger and the best chips, friendly service

Chips were not as described, waited forever to be served, tea was not hot we had 2 breakfast as well as the Chips as they were for the old lady we were with needless to say she left them

Always attentive service, reasonable price. This is my favourite cafe in Wrexham with my favourite dish quiche and chips which are homemade.

I went for a breakfast here yesterday (sat 08/02/25). I ordered the deluxe breakfast but without black pudding. I was asked if I wanted anything in place of black pudding, to which I replied tomato. The wait was about 25 minutes for the breakfast, and about 10 mins for a cup of tea. The tea was weak and milky. The breakfast was missing the requested tomato, the bacon was overcooked and rubbery, and the eggs were overcooked. The best part of the breakfast was the sausage, which was very nice. Overall, one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a cafe.

Excellent customer service from Colin who went the extra mile for me today. I'm lactose intolerant so cant have dairy. He actually went and purchased some oat milk for my tea. First time visitor and won't be my last. Lovely and clean and spent some time talking to us about his time living in Canada.

The food was graet and and cheap compared with the over cafe out there they also are very generous with the portions

My first time in this cafe but defo won't be the last I had a fully Monty breakfast full English and the quality of the food and the amount you get I would happy pay more than it cost me. Nice freshly cooked breakfast, One downfall....as neither of us like black pudding we asked if we could swap for another item instead, waitress said no problem but when it came to pay was asked for an extra 60 pence for substituting,this was not mentioned by the waitress. This was our first time visit and will definitely be the last, we visit several cafés in the area & others are happy to swap an item at no extra cost. Had we been made aware of this we would have taken the breakfast as it came & wasted the black pudding. Hi, I appreciate your offer but please put in charity box. I will reiterate the fact the extra cost should be pointed out at time of placement of order & not payment.

Breakfast lovely when it eventually arrived had to wait 40 minutes for it. A lot of people left because of the long wait need to employ more staff with a smile.

This was our first time here. Despite the café being very busy, and them being short staffed, we were served quite quickly and our food was lovely. Great value for money too.

The service was ok. I had a breakfast with a pot of tea. The tea was not as hot as it should have been. Better to order a mug of tea.

We come here every Monday, staff are amazing and food is always good home made chips are just wow , Sad people can complain about silly things people need to see more positives and not always do a review because it's a negative The staff work there butt's of and always really busy , also nice to support a local buiness rather than all the big chains in Wrexham.

Great little cafe. Used to come here for breakfast with my wife. Took my son today, they were very accommodating to his fussiness and even added cream and marshmallows to his milkshake. Food was great and a reasonable price. My son has allready asked to go again.

First time here and in all honesty, unlikely to return. Ordered Full Monty breakfast at £8.95. Decent price for a sit down in a clean and quirky area. A positive. Sausages very tasteless. Shame as all other ingredients were good. The low quality sausages let it down when an integral part of an English breakfast. I ordered an orange juice. £2.85!!!!!! Fine if was freshly squeezed but it was from a cheap carton. And in a ridiculously small glass for the price. You can purchase three 1 litre cartons for the same. A shame as it felt like you was being ripped off. Staff very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Just a shame about those 2 let downs that left a bitterness to prevent me returning.

Amazing cafe to go to as a family, very friendly service, amazing and caring staff, I have adhd and can’t sit still and they accompany to that, they allow me to collect plates and clean tables while waiting for food.

Called in this morning for a breakfast. Absolutely terrible. Cheap deep fried hash brown full of oil when cut. Sausages & bacon where tasteless. Cheap marge on the toast . Pot of tea no flavour again Cheap & nasty. Won't be going again.

I went to uni in Wrexham and the priory was my local, since returning to Wrexham to visit I went back to say hello and was greeted by a few new faces! Found out it’s recently been taken over and what a fabulous job they have done! Lovely atmosphere lovely food, would strongly recommend to anyone local/visiting!!!

Visiting friends in the area and popped in for brunch. The staff were friendly, our meals arrived quickly and so good to have a few vegan and veggie options. Nice atmosphere and spotlessy clean Great value for money - would recommend.

Quality cafe in Wrexham. Great BLT, reasonably priced, friendly service! Just saw they brought back 10% breakfast discount, will be back.

Called in for lunch today, never been before. It was just ok nothing special. Ordered sandwiches which were tasteless and a bowl of chips, nice and hot but on the soggy side. Had to ask for vinegar and ketchup, so not the best service.

Was disappointed eggs were hard not soft, ham sandwich has nasty cheap spread resembling a yellow colour, not enjoyable £7. Plus for double egg and chips !!!! Quite disappointed.

I had a very generous portion of ham, egg and homemade chips, absolutely delicious that I can't wait to return. Kind staff that are accommodating to young children with drinking beakers and cutlery to use for little hands. Shall be returning again. Thank you

Saturday 10th February 2024 This great town centre cafe today was packed with people enjoying the great breakfasts on offer today 2 large rooms to this cafe. Good atmosphere and well staffed and organised serving system. The full monty was 7 pound 90, and the white coffee was 2.90, so 10 pound 60 well spent in this cafe today

Very nice place to eat, breakfast was lovely and service was very friendly. Only downside is the staff forgot to bring out drinks to us so we ended up not having any. Aside from that though a lovely place to eat.

disappointed. the food was absolutely disgusting! the sausage was chip shop sausage and the bacon was as dry as a bone. The egg was watery and not cooked properly.i had a light breakfast and my friend had the all day breakfast with an extra sausage and it came the exact same portion sized just with extra sausage and payed an extra £3! apple juice from a carton into a small cup was also £3. over priced for food barley edible. staff were not very polite either DO NOT GO HERE!

Best place in town. Love it. Breakfasts are awesome and so are the people.

Lovely home made food and lovely staff

My wife called at the cafe today. It was busy - no surprise on Friday before Christmas. Shown to table, took drink order (banana milkshake, so you know this is genuine, cafe owner, if you check with your staff). She did not want food and was then told to leave. No food, no service she was told. No signs on entry, not asked before going to table. Utterly disgraceful behaviour. My wife was so embarrassed she did not dispute this, be greatful I was not with her. She was in need of a drink as she has long standing medical issues - ever thought that not all disabilities are obvious? My wife and I will never cross your door again. Your staff made my wife feel like an admonished child, what type of business does that? Be better, you may be popular, but don't treat your customers this bad.

Great little cafe. What you might call 'good honest grub'. I had Welsh Rarebit and it was almost as good as my Mum's! (Have to say that in case she reads this) Reasonable prices and so nice to go somewhere that isn't a soulless chain. We're so lucky in Wrexham to have a number of independent places to choose from and I'll definitely be back again.

Visited today as my family always use this place and rave about. Arrived just before 3.10pm knowing that they close at 4pm was asked table for how many, seated and provided with a menu. After looking over the menu for more than 5 minutes and deciding what to have to eat, was told by the owner that unfortunately the kitchen was closed and we needed to be there for at least 3.10pm which we were. Safe to say I won’t be visiting again.

Went there today with my brother's for a breakfast. Properly disappointed. The sausage was like a chip shop sausage but the bacon, my god, it was hardly cooked, I pulled apart one piece of bacon from another and there was literally about an inch of uncooked fat holding them together. Also, the bacon was the cheapest you could buy. I'm not sorry for saying this but avoid, better places to have breakfast with better ingredients. Egg was nice though.

Lovely little cafe, came with my mum and had a Panini, was lovely food. Strong smell of stale sweat from someone in there put me off a bit, but assuming it was just a customer 🤣 will see next time as I will definitely be back for more food!

I have never had bad service or bad food here, it is a very family friendly cafe and the staff go the extra mile to help customers with disabilities or with small children.

I had an all day breakfast from The priory cafe and it was delicious. Nice seating and interiors and excellent table service. Would definitely recommend.

I have been here twice. And both times the food was gorgeous had a full English 1st time there and today I had an omlette I must say it was the nicest omlette I have ever had will definitely have that again.

It was a hurry hurry order by the lady waiter. Due to that, got my drink and order wrong. Couldn't finish my breakfast. Sad.
