Just had a delivery of a mixed grill, and I've got to say it was absolutely superb, keep up the good work. Everything was cooked how I asked and delivery was prompt.

Ordered a takeaway from here today (25th aug)! What a rip off. Has been good in the past but pls be aware. Ordered cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets as extra for £7 and received a spoonful of cauliflower cheese and 3 pigs in blankets? U get more from m and s for less money. 2 dinners with chicken and 5 slices of chicken which were really small pieces between both dinners. Never again. Stay clear. Started to rip ppl off now. Try red lion Meriden and new inn rhuddlan as much better value. Goodbye and really good luck rip off royal Oak!!!!

Was staying near and we popped in for a couple of drinks and food very welcoming and friendly

We came across this place looking for a nice fish and chip dinner, got to say we were delighted with the quality size and presentation of the fish and chips, we also had a lovely prawn cocktail starter and vanilla ice cream to finish couldn’t have been happier with everything thank you Royal Oak team.

I went into The Royal Oak for food a week ago on Friday, and ordered one of the daily specials for £8.50. Ribeye Steak, Chips, Onion Rings and Pepper sauce. Pint of San Miguel for £4. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the food and value for money. Best pint in the Rhyl area. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I was at the royal oak few nights ago I am a diabetic n started having a hypo Bethan the landlords wife gave me chocolate n sweets n even came to check on me she was very kind an the pub has a good atmosphere an is very clean I highly recommend

Carvery rubbish, I had lamb didn't look or taste like lamb, and cold, chicken was like the rubber veg was raw and just warm

A great old fashioned pub like they used to be. We consider it to be our local. Great atmosphere, no trouble and Donna cooks fantastic food. Her Sunday roasts re to die for. Plenty of it (and no washing up). Pool table and dartboard. Big screen TV. Always a warm welcome.

Tiny and the team as always brilliant hosts nice little local all covid things covered. If you get chance call in. Dinners served weekend.

Proper down to earth local, landlord & lady cheerful & happy to chat with new customers, made to feel very welcome & dog friendly. Beer was spot on & fairly priced & we all agreed the roast dinner was the best we have had & Daughter said the same about the chilli con carne & proper chips. There is no doubt that this place will be first on my list on next visit to Rhyl, despite a short walk from the main hight Street, thanks for your hospitality.

Pub is modest but the staff, food and prices are second to none. I would definitely have no problem recommending this pub for meals. I had roast which had great range of veg. Unlike the pub I went to yesterday. I gave an ok review for that one

Lovely Sunday lunch delivered free to our door. Plenty of it, 6 veg, roast/ new potatoes, roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, delicious

We popped in to watch the football. The most remarkable thing was how everyone made us welcome. Sorted out seats, engaged in chat and were lovely and friendly. Whilst the drinks on offer were limited, the atmosphere and friendliness more than made up for it. I can’t not mention the landlord, Scott. What a wonderful and friendly chap. A traditional pub with traditional values. Well done.

Heading out of town you will find the Royal Oak. This pub is traditional and down to earth. Very quiet when we visited but live football showing and additional tv showing the footy scores, just what we was after. Traditional choice behind the bar plus additional bonus of premium lager available. Bar man very friendly. Just what we needed after an afternoon in the rain.

Second time we visited in the last 12 months and honestly can not rate this beautiful hidden gem high enough. Whenever we visit Rhyl we will be paying a visit. We found this hidden gem on the back streets of Rhyl, and what a find. The landlord Tiny is very welcoming, the regulars are all friendly and the cook Donna makes the best home cooked food I think in North Wales. It is really reasonably priced and the portions are excellent. We loved it so much we went to the steak night which is every Friday, then went back for Sunday dinner which she does as in a carvary style. There is a good choice of beers on draft and It also welcomes dogs. This is a great little hide away that we will certainly be returning to.

Was great food and good service, however I was surprised to be charged £9.00 for three pints of fosters which wasn't the best the food was only a couple of pounds dearer, sounds silly but when u can get three pints of Stella in rhyl town centre cheaper, where would u use for a drink?? Would highly recommend the food though

Absolutely amazing food. Home cooking at its finest and amazing value for money couldn't finish my meal my daughters roast dinner was big enough for me, excellent for £3. Friendly staff and all over great atmosphere. Will be returning again very soon

Bel pub dove consumare ottimi pasti, pulito, accogliente e a prezzi concorrenziali. Piatti tradizionali e ottime birre, il locale è sempre tranquillo e il personale cortese.

Encontramos el Royal Oak por casualidad mientras conduce por intentar encontrar un pub para una cena agradable pub, quedé muy sorprendido por los precios bajos, pero eso no significa baja calidad, probado encantadora comida y una gran cantidad de comida que se sirve. Personal muy amable, sin duda volveremos de nuevo la próxima vez que esté en la zona.

Tenía un número de sitios enumerados después de haber leído las críticas de tripadvisor para nuestras vacaciones. Probé el Royal Oak y acabé comiendo aquí para el resto de nuestra estancia. Es un pub tradicional, el lugar es limpio, agradable y todo lo que probamos en el menú era cocinado a la perfección. Se puede decir que el casero lasaña fue fantástico. La comida aquí es genial, muy buena relación, me encanta el lugar y volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Nos empujaba a encontrar en Rhyl para almorzar y paramos en este pub en la oportunidad que sirve comida. Parecían contentos llegamos ya que estaba tranquilo y la señora produjo una comida deliciosa. Mi marido disfrutó su sopa y sándwich y tuve una cena con asado. La carne era probable de una opción, pero abundante y vegetales frescos.

I visit this pub quite often. Sometimes with friends, sometimes with family. Food is outstanding for the price all home made and freshly made on the premises. Donna in the kitchen will do anything to cater to your needs. Personal best is the steak pie, massive chunks of meat in an unbeatable gravy served with veg and I choose chips. Best home cooked food in town without a doubt!

Found this pub by accident today, everywhere else in Rhyl seemed to be shut.Thought we'd give it a go!Had a lovely Sunday lunch for a fiver, made to feel very welcome, we will be back when we come to stay in AprilThank you

It does great food very friendly staff, i think i've had a pint of beer their but i normally drink coke. It was good thow

We didn't eat here but did spend the afternoon playing pool and drinking cider. Nice range of drinks on offer, friendly staff as well

What a lovely old pub this is, really friendly staff and locals. Great range of draught and spirits too. Only down side is the there's not really much space in the smoking area, but this doesn't take anything away from the place itself.
