Very nice inside and out. Good selection of spirits and beers. GREAT FOOD

Excellent food, Fantastic surroundings and great customer service. Oh and the crispy beef starter was amazing, please make this a main with salad 😁

Very nice venue on the whole. Ambience and decor very good. We arrived 20 mins early for 8pm booking, were shown to our table but weren't served until 8pm even though there were diners at only a couple of other tables. Could understand if their staff were rushed and busy, however not even a word from them to explain that we couldn't be served until 8. Also, a little disappointing that the food wasn't that hot, and was served on cold plates. Would be happy to return in hope this was a one off, as otherwise it looks to be a lovely restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

We went out to celebrate my birthday. The food was great, the service friendly and efficient and the atmosphere relaxing. We'll be back, thank you!!

Waited over an hour for food to arrive. Have to say when it did, the food was good, however having waited for over an hour it took the shine off the evening. Staff were very sullen and unhelpful no ambience at all, not what is expected. Would I visit again? No probably not, need to train or change your staff, in customer facing role.

Stopped at this pub for lunch. Whilst my mum’s trad roast was good, my meal was a disappointment. As a vegetarian I picked the butternut squash and apricot tagine. The meal arrived on a plate rather than in a tagine for the table. The cous cous was powdery in part. It was bland and uninspiring. I did feel I wasted good money on my meal. Staff were really attentive throughout when I explained my concerns I was told that they’d share them with the chef- I hope they did because that meal needs attention!

Went to the Three Eagles for supper on the first night of our stay. We're greater by some really happy looking chilled out waitresses, who showed us to the table and took our drinks order. We had the chicken skewer and also the white bait for starter. Both were excellently cooked and well presented, not over the top, just a reasonable starter portion well executed. For the main, we ordered the burger and also the lamb rump. Again, the burger was well put together very fresh and cooked spot on The lamb was beautiful, cooked, served slightly pink, but you could cut it with a spoon. Fab flavour combinations Both of us were happy bunnies. Decided as we don't nor.ally go three course to share the treacle tart which had a lovely smooth taste, not to stoggy and just the right flavours. Price point was about the normal for two 2 1/2 course meals and drinks off top of head was just under £60 with drinks so would call that good value. Decoration is modern, some great touches like the hole down into the lit wine caller and the well. Clean, friendly, and would most definitely go back. Delicious food, really great, and efficient service, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and couldn’t fault any element. Had a fantastic evening. Only criticism is we wish it opened more evenings, we would have gone back.

Nice place, the food was really average. The cake was burned and the service could have been better but the atmosphere were really nice. We might come back for drinks.

We had a fabulous lunch to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We'll done again Three Eagles. We'll be back again soon.

We had had a lovely day on the Railway to Corwen and booked a table for 3.45pm for 7 people for a Sunday Lunch to finish our day out. We all chose the Sunday Lunch. Unfortunately the meal was poor, the beef was tough and had very little taste. We had to wait for cutlery and the meals were not hot.The wait between each course was long ! When ordering our deserts we asked if they could be served a.s.a.p as we had a long onward journey we still had an over 20 minute wait ( it wasn't that busy !) The whole meal meal took over 2 and a half hours. We were very disappointed in both the food and the service. We did say at the time and they did take off the cost of one meal. As we were only visitors to the area so we won't be visiting again but the purpose of this review is make the management of the establishment aware of the areas of the business that needs improvement. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it .

I stopped here on the way back from Snowdonia and I’m so glad. The food was great and there was even a discount for dining on Sundays.

A lovely location and all round nice pub, with very welcoming staff on arrival and friendly service. The food was very good, piping hot and good quality, although for the portion size of the one meal (the bacon chop) seemed small for the £19 they were charging, the meat portion and 3 small cherry tomatoes that came with it. Service wise, once given the meal no one bothered with you. No offer of any sauces, salt and pepper etc. when given the meal (seemed quite an effort the member of staff was giving it to us to be honest) and no one checked in half way through. Maybe an oversight on the day? More then likely. It hasn't put us off trying the place again, but hopefully next time the friendly service can carry on from sitting us down through to whole meal.

Family group of 16 had a meal here after our wedding, we had the Williams room which was set up beautifully for us. We were looked after brilliantly by Chloe & her colleagues & had a delicious meal. The whole experience was fabulous. Thank you 😊

Lovely restaurant in a nice little street in gorgeous Llangollen. Shown to our table as soon as we arrived and received our drinks within minutes of sitting down. We both ordered a roast and when it came it looked lovely. Nice big portion and everything was gorgeous. Absolutely delicious. There were loads of staff. The place including the toilets were spotless. Tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as the guests left. We will definitely go back.

This restaurant was top of the list when looking on line for places to eat in Llangollen. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely feel and beautiful surroundings including the well and wine cellar under glass. The only down fall was that the Broccoli & Stilton Soup was not warm enough to melt the Stlton, the patas bravas had a lukewarm tomato topping and the potatoes were also cold. Should have sent it back I suppose. Waiting on Staff were lovely

We chose Llangollen for a party to celebrate my 80th birthday - 17 of us aged 5 to 80, ten adults and seven children, from Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland and England as well as Wales. The Three Eagles provided a private room just perfect for us. The food was good, the staff were wonderful both beforehand and all evening. Everything went just as we'd dared to hope. Thank you!!

Booked in advance...first time visit here. From the front it doesn't look much of a place but as soon as you enter inside decor and ambience is amazing. Both opted for the sunday roast which was absolutely delicious that all I can say about it!! Highly recommend this place would love a reason to visit and eat here again!

My brother had the chargrilled chicken breast in a yoghurt and garlic marinade, sticky mango chutney served with a "corn rib" basically a bit of corn on the cob cut length ways, spicy slaw and skinny fries. It was so dry and no taste of a marinade and a smidgen of mango chutney. Mine was the " slow cooked feather blade of welsh beef" in a bacon and onion jus with truffle and parmesan chips. Basically braisng steak which one third was fat. The jus was nice but the chips were just normal chips with a bit of parmesan grated on top.(no sign of truffle) The leek was cut length ways so couldn't cut it or chew it. We were looking forward to having a dessert but couldn't waste anymore money! Very dissapointed! Do not describe food in this way if you can't deliver!!!

We think this place is ideal for any occasion and there's something for everyone on the menu. We visited this time with our daughter and granddaughter. The food and drinks were super and the staff were friendly, helpful. We like the relaxed atmosphere and although it was busy, there's plenty of space between tables.

We were told this was the best place to eat in town and we weren’t disappointed Lucky for us it was fully booked Friday and Saturday so we went on Sunday - not realising there was a 25% discount from 5:00 to 8:00 on Sundays The food and wine were all great quality and reasonably priced even before the discount Would definitely come again

A gem in Llangollen - this pub has a beautiful atmosphere inside and on the outside terrace! We especially loved seeing the original well in the reception. We had some delicious food with local ingredients and a great hostess 😊 The outdoor terrace had live music over the weekend and the selection of drinks were great! Cannot wait to come back for another "Fab" cocktail 🧉

We ate at The Three Eagles on Wednesday evening during our short break to Wales. We enjoyed it so much we ate there again the following evening! The service was excellent, the food delicious and the atmosphere was just what we wanted.

Booked a table last minute for 13 people. The three eagles was very accommodating and got us all a table together. The menu is more limited than previous but only means better quality food. Delicious all round with a great happy hour deal and free meals for children. Would highly recommend! 🌟
