Party of 20 Thank you for for making my daughter’s birthday meal special. Food was fantastic, service was brilliant, nothing was too much for the front of house staff.

We've previously visited this cafe on our holidays and have always had a pleasant experience with nice food. Not sure what's happened since then, but they seem to be understaffed and our order was forgotten about twice. Young girl on service seemed to be snowed under and we ended up leaving without a dessert after waiting ages to be told it had been forgotten about again. Was offered an apology but staff could do with some customer service skills as a smile and a how was your meal wouldn't of gone a miss. Considering our order wasn't put through not once but twice some type of compensation or refund would of been a nice gesture but all we got was do we want it boxed up to take home. Such a shame as its a great location but won't tolerate rudeness and bad customer service, so we won't be visiting again!

We came here after not being happy with the Loch cafe. The food here was lovely along with the staff. This cafe is definitely dog friendly

Called in around lunchtime after a walk around Corris, the lady serving was so friendly, we had hot chocolate and a pannini, pannini was delicious. My wife found the hot chocolate a little rich, and the owner offered to make her a cup of tea FOC. All the staff were lovely, well done!

We’ve not been for a while, certainly since it changed from Caffi Hems, but we ended up kicking ourselves as the food was fabulous! The staff were lovely and welcoming, the place was spotlessly clean and the menu had something for everyone, with the addition of a few ‘specials’. We opted for the wagyu burger which was a great choice. The burger was tasty and moist, complemented by the smoky bacon, cheese and loads of chips. In fact the portion appeared enormous, excellent value for money. Quick, efficient service too, a great place for lunch and we’ll be back really soon to sample the other delights on the menu.

This is a nice little café with great coffee and absolutely amazing pasties – seriously, they’re to die for! The flapjack is a bit hit or miss though, sometimes coming out a little dry. One downside was the odd experience of a few people trying to conduct business on their laptops, holding meetings without headphones. It’s 2024—nobody wants to hear other people’s meetings while enjoying their coffee. A bizarre and inconsiderate thing to do. The staff are friendly, but I was a bit puzzled by the fact that the first thing you're asked when paying is if you’d like to tip—before they’ve actually done anything. Sorry, but I’m not tipping if nothing has been done yet. It just feels a bit off!

If ever you visit Harlech Castle and need cash for the carpark, this is a must. "Cash machine" facility available inside that gives coins. The staff are excellent and friendly. The pumpkin soup is to die for. Cafe incorporates a gift shop, wool shop, comfy seating, terrific back ground music to eat your lunch/ tea to. Can't wait to go back.

Marion (Maz!) really looked after us after we dropped in at this lovely pub. The beer was great, the general company was entertaining and informed. Two days later Maz cooked us the most amazing venison stew. You need to book a couple of days in advance but you should - it was the highlight of our trip!

We received a friendly welcome from Ana and indeed all the the staff gave courteous and friendly service. We enjoyed our meals at the hotel and it proved a good base for walks. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would return.

We were practically dragged in off the street, not by the staff but by a customer (whom we knew) , otherwise we probably would have gone elsewhere. Our enforced choice was perfect. lovely snack/lunch - excellent Welsh language service and a local ambience - good value for money. The home made "pwdin reis" (Rice Pudding) looked great but maybe next time. Excellent little cafe. Good choice made on our behalf..!
