What a happy place/atmosphere. Sunday lunch was amazing. Beautifully cooked and the vegetables were amazing. Had to have a pudding too and again amazing. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. Well done guys 👏👏👏👏

My husband and I had Sunday lunch I had the vegetarian option which was amazing and my husband was just as impressed with his roast. I am not usually impressed with anyone's roast but my own in all honesty lol but it actually was so good I had to do a review. Atmosphere and service was really good, I would definitely recommend to others. Nearly forgot to mention dessert which was also excellent!

I was looking for somewhere to take mum & dad, which had disability access. Which it does, I was reassured when I spoke to the manager that they had a lift that my parents could use to the 1st floor. We have been many, many times to Tywyn and didn't know this little gem was there. We had Sunday dinner, they serve a smaller portion too, which suited my parents. Which we all enjoyed, beautiful homemade flavour to it. Dessert I had the Toffee with fudge bits on the cheesecake. Wow yummy. We all left there absolutely stuffed !! The manager was very courteous, polite & helpful as mum in a wheelchair now. The other staff were to and friendly. There is a downstairs pub, and in nice weather seating outside. But for they have a lift making it accessible for wheelchair ♿️ users and people who find it difficult walking up the stairs. We were lucky that we were seated by window looking over the sea. It was fully booked and I luckily had the last slot the night before. When I booked online. Noticed it was dog friendly downstairs too. 😁

Super clean! Would recommend! Right on the sea front. This place easily does the best Guinness from the bloke behind the bar you can tell he took pride and was efficient! He’s an asset to that pub!

Excellent friendly service, food served to a very high standard, good portion size and very fresh ingredients used. This was our second visit here. Compliments to the front of house, head chef, and their great team! Recommended, well worth a visit!

Every time I come to this pub I have to have the fish and chips there are many other options but the fish and chips for me is a winner every time they have a really good choice of beer and cider and never had a bad meal

Went 3 times in our week's holiday. Sunday dinner, Tuesday night, and Friday lunch. Standards high in each visit. Staff were all friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Take a healthy appetite as portions are amazing. Already looking forward to next year.

Get those kids from behind the bar! Sports shorts, trainers, scruffy t shirts. The two young guys behind the bar this Sunday 4/8/24 had their own speaker behind the bar like it's their own personal clubhouse. Professionalism nowhere to be seen, not looking smart at all, wasting beer. Generally poor. Place has gone really downhill since the last owners. Disgraceful. Sort this crap out. Embarrassment to the seafront.

Best place to eat in Towyn. Staff and service is brilliant. Food is excellent too. If you're lucky you might spot the dolphins as the balcony had a great view of the sea ideal at sunset too.

Sunday lunch was out of this world! Everything about it was just superb. We will be back!!

We came here for our tea and we had the lasagne and minted lamb burger, both with skin on fries. The food was really tasty and good portion sizes. The staff are nice and friendly, we hadn't booked a table but they managed to get us in. Will definitely be coming here again.

Really really good Six o’clock and very busy, good job we booked. Met by very pleasant staff who had everything in hand. Our food came in very good time and was delicious I had the wrack of ribs off the special board…..so full as I write this. Well done guys11/10 And they knock out a good pint so well done all 👍

What a fabulous pub, we gave been here many times before and Iove it. Right on the sea front and fantastic service. A lovely duo on tonight with guitar, flute and amazing vocals and our dog made welcome with fresh water and gravy bones. I really recommend you visit if you are on the area. Had lunch and drinks. Food is typical pub food. Was nice and worth the money. Beach front location, however, not much to look at. Staff were all nice and friendly

Visited twice when I was in the area, first time had the lamb and mint burger which was perfect, never had a burger like it in my life. Fresh salad and patty well seasoned. Very good size of burger and enormous portion of fries. Second time I had salt and pepper squid and the rack of ribs from the specials menu. Again very large portions and everything freshly cooked and well seasoned. Squid wasn't chewy and sweet chilli sauce was nice. Ribs just fell off the bone and the BBQ sauce was lovely. Accompanied by colossal portions of fries and onion rings. Came with corn on the cob which was nice and coleslaw too which looked okay but didn't eat because I'm not a fan. Big telly in the pub downstairs and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Terrific quality and value, if I'm in the area I'll definitely be back.

Outside area is good but a bit let down by the big carling branded trailer parked up. Food is basic but tasted good. Beer range decent but if you are outside you have to have your drink in a plastic cup which is a shame

We came to Tywyn for the weekend and called in here for a drink. Overlooking the beach and large outside area for drinks and meals. They offer both lunchtime and evening meals. Sadly, we didn't have time for food on this visit as our daughters four month old baby needed sleep but plan to eat here next time as the menu looked tempting. The atmosphere here was great and perfect for a quick visit or longer stay. For an evening meal, suggest you book in advance as this is a very popular place to eat. The restaurant area is on the 1st floor, but they have a lift if you have mobility issues.

Excellent gammon, great chips and all the trimmings,. Very full now .son had Beef chilli and wife had scampi

Friendly staff who seem happy to help in any way they can. Food was delicious and large portions too! I don't know how they sell any desserts! Would recommend to anyone.

lovely food and enjoyed my time there with my dad who is 86, bringing him back to tywyn after 50 years. spoilt as seriously over charges for the food, menu said one thing they charged way above. dad was paying so only just noticed. spoilt a nice holiday

Service and quality have rapidly declined since the new Thai Restaurant opened upstairs. Rude maître d' that made our entire experience here awful and unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

Great thai meal, very friendly service and a sea view, too venue, would be 5 star on food but the selection was a bit limited, I look forward to a revisit and hopefully a fuller menu.

Wife and I dropped in for lunch on Saturday with the dogs. Place is dog friendly so no issues there which is fantastic. Menu is Thai, as we both love Thai that was a no brainer. The service was spot on, despite my unintentional best efforts to sow confusion. The food was banging. One of the best Thai green currys I've had and egg fried rice was superb. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in Tywyn

I was a bit sceptical about the Thai restaurant but thought we'd give it a go. It was delicious! Fresh, full of flavour and the smell as you walked up the stairs 👌 the service was great and wine was good. Best food I've had in Tywyn in a long time. Thanks very much we will be back.

Had heard about the new venture into Thai food at the Slipway and am delighted to report it was absolutely delicious. I pre ordered my meal for collection at a specific time and it was presented bang on time piping hot and so very tasty. The pork skewers with tamarind were out of this world, prawn pad Thai was made with fresh tender prawns and beef massaman curry flawless. Huge portions - pictured is less than half of what I received. I love the Slipway, it is a great community pub in a magical town, and the Thai-wyn restaurant can only be a great success - I'll certainly be back with reinforcements.

First visit to the Thai restaurant, food delicious, hot and tasty. Service and hospitality excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. Wonderful views of the sun setting over the sea. Very memorable.

Spent the afternoon here yesterday watching the Formula 1 and having a few drinks. Impeccable service from the bar lady, she went above and beyond for us sorting out the Formula 1 viewing. Drinks were great and affordable. Cosy little pub, very clean! Highly recommended.

Honestly the best Thai meal I’ve had outside of Thailand. Fresh ingredients, authenticity cooked and very generous portions - they won’t be selling many deserts! Highly recommended

Been here a few times when we visit Tywyn. Always really good service, really good portion sizes and the food is great. The atmosphere is really good as well, very quiet and chill most of the time, especially if you’re going off peak.

Great little pub, good range of drinks, haven't eaten here recently, but food was fine last time. Toilets clean, service good. Small amount of outdoor seating and a small balcony upstairs. They sell Aspall cider, which is always a welcome bonus. Restaurant seating upstairs, but you can eat in the bar. Great setting, close to the beach, handy for a refreshment or two before/during and/or after a sunbathe.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch after reading some very positive reviews, and we were totally disappointed. The quality of the food was poor, the meat was dry, and the vegetables were overcooked. It reminded me of the school dinners I had to suffer back in the seventies. On the plus side, the service was good.

Went here with family for a Sunday lunch, portions were large and quality of ingredients very good, lunch times can be busy but the staff work diligently to keep waiting time to a minimum, a member of our group is a vegan and there was a suitable meal for them even down to a separate bowl of cooked vegetables without the butter, dining room located on the first floor with a lift available. Washed the meal down with a pint of real ale (Wyre Valley pale ale) which was well conditioned, all in all a good experience and I'm happy to recommend the Victorian Slipway

Inexpensive good service, decent choice of beers and decent food. For a seafront bar the prices are very keen. Always feel comfortable in there 😌

Very good Sunday lunch. I had a nice nut roast, hubby had a very generous piece of beef. Followed by very good apple pie and ice cream. Moved outside after mains to the balcony overlooking the sea. Ale was good and reasonably priced.

Stopped in while we we're watching the Tonfanau racing. Good variety of drinks and a good atmosphere. Only problem is they stip serving food at 20:00. Way too early I think.

Lovely meal and a superb setting, the upstairs restaurant has a wonderful view of the ocean. Ribeye steak & Ribs for the wife, very large portions, service was great, prompt and friendly. Would I return? Most definitely.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff in an idyllic spot overlooking the beach. Great spot to watch the sports. Even had some complementary roasties and yorkies on the bar to fill our hungry stomachs up!

Went in today on spur of the moment after walking the dog down the beach. Choice of three meats (Beef, Turkey or Pork), service was very quick maybe no more than 5 minutes. A big bowl of peas, carrots, cabbage and boiled potatoes to go with the meal and a bowl of cauliflower cheese (plus a big gravy boat as well). I would have liked to enjoy a pudding but I couldn't eat another mouthful, a very enjoyable meal, great service and our dog was happy as they gave him a handful of treats as well.

Fabulous views from this beach front pub. Great selection of food with a restaurant to eat in upstairs (where the views can be enjoyed. No dogs allowed) or also in the small Bar area downstairs (dogs allowed). Huge selection of gins and rums etc as well as on draught lagers, cider and Guinness etc and even small bottles of Prosecco🥂 Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely one to try when visiting Tywyn.

Menu was typical pub food (scampi, fish&chips, curry, pie, gammon etc) but all were *really* good examples of their type.

What a lovely and friendly place. The decor is super in the restaurant and tables spaced out. All had candles lit on them. The food was great and the service very quick. Thank you. It is such a shame that they are on restrictions for opening due to time of year. If you are in the area l really recommend xxx
