Felt Welcomed. Flat spacious surroundings within the area.

I'm lactose intolerant and I was told they only used butter not margarine (Flora). The lady in charge told me butter was healthier!!!!! Needless to say, I left without having anything to eat or drink

Very friendly cafe . Lovely staff. I ordered the special .. french toast croissant with fruit and cream, it was beautiful Coffee was good Would definitely eat here again

Having just missed a boat to Rothesay we initially took our place in the queue of cars for the next one and walked across the street to McCaskie’s for something to eat. Thinking we had time to sit in for a snack we each ordered some food and a small glass of white wine (£3.90 per glass). The menu has a good choice and I selected the Roast chicken BLT (£11) and my wife opted for a Cajun Wrap (£12). Unfortunately the food took a bit longer to prepare than we’d expected and not long after it had arrived we had to ask a member of staff if it could be boxed-up to go. This wasn’t an issue and on finishing our wine and paying we departed back to the ferry queue armed with our take-away! It seemed a straight-forward process so perhaps we weren’t the first customers to be caught short of time. The café looked bright and clean and we briefly had a nice view of the Wemyss Bay railway station out the window prior to departure. Whilst sitting in our car waiting to board we enjoyed the food - the chicken being particularly tender and the other ingredients being good quality and tasty too. It was possibly an expensive takeaway in the circumstances but thankfully worth it.

Nice environment with home cooked food. Points off for soft doughy rolls served half of which I trimmed off and length of time from sitting down to actually getting my coffee which was nice. Also no wi-fi

Hmmm...loved my 1st visit. A bit on the fence for 2nd visit. We visited as a group of 6 in early August (a Saturday lunch) and were quite taken with the menu, ambience and freshness of food. Went back again on Thursday 29th as a 2 and missed that je ne sais quoi. Chilli beef nachos were lovely and hot. Salmon with giant couscous a hit. But the Greek Fries were cool. And missed the stainless bowl. Maybe a different chef?

Went in with the family before work, took an hour and a quarter to get a steak sandwich that was absolutely stone cold when we got it, my partner who will NEVER complain ended up calling the waitress over and saying to her, she asked if we wanted to send it back but we told her we didn't have time she said she would see someone about the bill but when we got up to leave she disappeared, the boy at the till didn't give us a penny off and was actually quite rude as he said nothing just pushed the card reader over , no thanks no goodbye nothing, will never darken their door again, and as for cheapest steak sandwich in town no wonder it was the smallest steak sandwich I've ever seen, the floor was sticky as well. 👎

What a little hidden gem of a cafe, we popped in not knowing what to expect but they have a simple menu but the food was delicious and all very reasonably priced. It's also dog friendly. We will definitely be back!

Been a few times, food is amazing great value and always same staff so very slick, cocktails also brilliant, better than most places in Glasgow.

Brilliant ice cream, one of the best around. Dropped a star because of the customer service, it's like they shout at you and you've no time to consider what you want or take time to look at the ice cream options 😵‍💫

Lovely day out with our sister. Food was excellent, I had Mac cheese Generous portion with french fries, my sister had chilli nachos (is a starter) but again a nice sized potion. My husband had the special, which was king prawn terryaki - looked good and tasted amazing.

Bit unsure how to review. It had strange atmosphere as tall waitress was not the most friendly and very robotic. Coffee was average at best but scone super fresh. Would have been nicer sitting by fire but large area in middle which couldn't be helped due to other seats taken. Would go back but had higher expectations but wouldn't go out my way due to service

I had asked for a bowl of water and the MANGER told me she already put them out 5min ago them continued to laugh and then I asked where the bathroom was and everyone I walked in she was so unprofessional she should even be a manager no manners , not polite one bit the attitude was stinking and for a issue to even ask for water for the dog is ridiculous!I had asked the person behind the bar for it and she decided to come out and has an issue with It!! I won’t be back certainly not after the experience I had it was as-if she had a chip on shoulder (all for a bowl of water) her way or no way , the person behind the bar assisted me perfectly untill she came out and did not want me to have it what so ever !! All for a bowl of dog water the way I was treated was disrespectful and disgusting I don’t recommend any one to come here !!

Had to change my Review as of the 6th Of December prices Have went up. And we thought the price was right before the change for a cafe. We need to find somewhere else now. 2 x can of coke £5 other cafes cheaper for cans.
