Great cafe for breakfast lunch or tea with wonderful home baked cakes. Friendly staff who are only to happy to go out of their way for you. Lovely location looking over the park.

Surprised its still operating the covid window ordering. Very impersonal service. I don’t think the staff like their job, dour faces avg food.

This is a lovely option for brunch or lunch, with a great choice of freshly made food. It’s become a regular choice as not only is the food really great and made to order, but the staff are lovely. It’s nice to go somewhere where the staff quickly recognise you and remember your preferences (even if you aren’t there every day). On a sunny afternoon it’s lovely to get takeout and sit in the park for a sweet treat. The lunchtime options are great, with breakfast, snack and sandwiches as well as burgers etc. You also have a wonderful selection of biscuits and cakes that are all made by the staff. They also have a selection of allergy options for those with dietary restrictions. And portions are a really good size without being too big. There are several exterior tables for outdoor dining and even more people come to the window for takeout. In fact, the main drawback is that it is so busy that you sometimes struggle to get a table inside. If there are sports groups training in the adjacent playing fields, it can get quite busy with hungry rugby players and their parents crowding at the takeout window (although that just shows how good it is). Just wish it didn’t stop serving so early in the afternoon.

Just been for an afternoon tea and it was fantastic, food and service were first rate and we will definitely be back for more, the best afternoon tea we have ever had and we have had a few.

It takes a lot for me to lose my patience when it comes to customer service, however consistently I have a long wait for a simple coffee or a simple mocha, why does it take at least 15 mins to make a mocha when the restaurant sit in area is not busy and outside is not busy, previously Iv been for a cup of soup and waited 20 mins, I always give them the benefit of the doubt however my mocha was disgusting today, no taste of hot chocolate and bitter coffee which after all that wait led me to this review, people need to be aware it’s not always as perfect as the other reviews suggest.

Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff. Delicious home baking. Little heard to find the entrance (at the back of the building) and it's right beside the playpark and there is a gym on the other side of the building!

My wife and I booked afternoon tea here for takeaway while on holiday what a fantastic place great sandwich and filling lovely cakes an scones presented in a lovely tray box hopefully we will be in area again an be able too return!

The service was awful, the waitress surly and unhelpful, my grandsons beef burger was inedible as was most of the food. Even the bakery was very poor.

The good lady surprised me with a delivery of afternoon tea yesterday. Great selection of tasty grub and as always strawberry tarts were out of this world. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a great cafe for kids when you are at the play park and want an ice cream treat or a wee sandwich. The bathroom is clean as well. I’ve had very good toasted croissant sandwiches here! And can always get a nice fizzy water and again, NARDINI’s ICE CREAM!!! Don’t really need to say more! They are overall pretty friendly as well!

Just had my afternoon tea surprise delevered it was delicious so fresh and lovely variety of cakes. Thank you to your team in these strange times. I will visit cafe when safe to do so.

I have visited this cafe for lunch a few times and each time the soup on offer has not been suitable for vegetarians. This can't be coincidence - if they are only serving one soup, why not make it suitable for anyone to eat i.e. no meat or meat stock? Very disappointing. I had the panini which was slightly too oily. Felt cost was high for size of portions. Service friendly though.

Every time I visit myself and my family are always well looked after. Soup is always so tasty portion size is huge so always leave full and satisfied. Alessias home baking is to die for. Such good value for money.

I love this cafe I regularly visit this cafe for their delicious home baking and their caramel lattes. I especially love their freshly made pancakes and Nutella. The staff are so friendly and the cafe is always spotless always looking forward for my next visit.
