Very busy pub in the centre of Leith .we managed to get a spot.burguers are quite nice and very nice atmosphere with quirky decorations.friendly staff and kids friendly.better book a table if you would like to enjoy their food

Sadly today will be the last time we visit conifox soft play, £36 for me to take a toddler and 10 year old for 1.5 hours!! Not worth this money. Having to pay to supervise a toddler is just crazy. The little village is a good concept but when you go into the little rooms and there is nothing to play with because other kids are walking round with all the food/ice creams/vet and dr sets in their baskets!!! Staff were friendly enough but one kept letting the little ones out of the play village without their parent knowing so in the short time we were building with the bricks he let out 2 kids who went into the large play frame!! Without their supervising adult (both kids under 3) 1 came back out screaming and I found the dad of the other to inform him his baby was in the large play frame so he could run in and get him. My 10 year old was fed up after half hour! Didn't buy any food as refuse to pay any more when we could have went to a timetwisters soft play in edinburgh for £23 for 2 hours! Which is where we will go the next time. Just glad I saw the other reviews about the Easter event as we were going to go there but sadly another rip off event. This place use to be a family friendly place to come, now it is all about money and over charging which is very sad. We could have had a full day out at 5 sisters zoo for £4 more!

Un lugar pequeño, nada especial. El servicio era bastante lento, pero no teníamos prisa, así que estaba bien para nosotros. Mi compañero eligió el desayuno completo que disfrutó. Café sin inodoro es un poco extraño, habría sido bueno saber antes de decidirse a comer allí.

Really enjoyed the Turkish breakfast (including tattie scone!). Good coffee great service.

In the weekend, expect a long queue, especially if it's sunny. It's just next to Blackford Hills which is popular for walks so this is the pit stop for visitors. The coffee is good, somewhere else I wouldn't queue for it but it's got a great location. Lots of dogs too!

A warm decor that perfectly suits the welcome given. Nathan, the manager speaks French and Spanish and knows how to recommend wines from Italy, France and even South Africa! As for the beers, fans will not be disappointed, we are in Scotland!!! And best of all, if the weather permits, a pleasant terrace in one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Edinburgh Not to be missed under any circumstances!!

I ordered a Turkish breakfast plate of eggs, sausage, and salad with halloumi, olives, and cheese for 11 euros, and excellent Turkish tea, but let it be heavy for you, and the food is halal.

Delightful spot. Fantastic & friendly service. Highly recommend the champagne afternoon tea. We had a lovely experience. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely lunch here. Had a bowl of Thai sweet potato soup which was absolutely delicious and a very tasty brie, Gruyere, olive and jalapeño focaccia sandwich. Such an interesting selection of fillings and flavours on offer. The person serving us was very friendly too! :)

Fuimos un jueves por la noche sin reserva, nos dieron una mesa que obviamente es una para las personas que tienen la osadía de no reservarla estaba delante Fuimos un jueves por la noche sin reserva, nos dieron una mesa que obviamente es una para las personas que tienen la osadía de no reservarla estaba frente a una pared de ladrillo y justo en el camino de la camarera que seguía corriendo golpeando mi silla, pedimos una bebida, una anticuada y un vaso de sangría, la antigua vino en un vaso que solo usaría para el agua si eso, espeso, barato y desagradable, la sangría era realmente regado vino tinto desagradable barato que sabía horrible, al lado de la comida mi bf pidió el venado que, para ser justos, dijo que era delicioso, pero el tamaño de la porción era ridículamente pequeño que tuvo que ir a McDonald's después porque estaba hambriento. Pedí los mejillones, la salsa era tan sosa e insípida que no podía comerlo fue horrible, al lado del servicio, bueno no había servicio terminamos nuestra comida y los platos todavía estaban sentados frente a nosotros media hora después, 2 camareras para servir más de 20 mesas que estaban literalmente corriendo como pollos sin cabeza, nos preguntamos si nuestra comida estaba bien no nos ofrecieron postre no nos ofrecieron otra bebida, pero tenían la mejilla para poner un cargo de servicio en la factura £ 75 por 2 platos principales y 1 bebida cada uno sin ningún tipo de servicio al cliente. Cuando nos íbamos alguien preguntó si todo estaba bien y luego le dio la espalda y se alejó antes de que tuviéramos la oportunidad de responder. No recomendaría este restaurante a nadie y nunca volveremos

Teníamos las sartenes - un poco diferente, muy lleno y sabroso. Nos sentamos afuera. Hacía frío al principio, pero avisamos muy rápido con los calentadores. Buen café y buen servicio.
