We went to the halloween function organized at the conifox adventure park. The kids had tremendous fun. Carnival rides, fire women, marshmallow toasting, fireworks, broomstick lessons, pumpkin patch. Price is slightly on the higher side. We spent roughly 160 £ for 3 kids to go through all rides and some snacks. The entry fee was 100£ and doesn't include any rides, they have to be bought separately. There was ample car park and easily accessible. They have toilet facilities arranged and was convenient. Overall it was great fun and could have been little les expensive.

This should be an excellent facility but sadly is no longer kept to standard. Canon ball court scarcely has any balls left and less than half the equipment is currently working. Complained to management about this previously and was told that it had all been broken by a child in the 20 minutes before our arrival - highly unlikely story. Was also informed that the whole play frame would have to be closed before anything could be fixed, this was months ago and no improvement has been made, poor show from Conifox management and commitment to one of their core attractions.

Terrible value for money. Took our daughter's to the Halloween experience and it was soulless and awkward. Paid £8 for the ghost train which lasted 45 seconds and not a lot happened. No lights, no smoke. We did see a skeleton and that was it. Embarrassing. Echoes of the Willy Wonka debacle.

Then the 1pm for Outdoor. Football golf .go carts in a crap surfaced area was a joke.pathways for prams or older people is dangerous You need to take a look at dalscone near Dumfries. Really disappointed at the Halloween event. I don’t see why we had to pay for tickets when there was so much to pay for inside. We walked in and everything within eyesight you had to pay for and it was so expensive. Especially the rides. The only thing that was free and included was photos with random characters. The riding school wasn’t open, the maze wasn’t open. They said this was just for nights but why? We are lucky we had money because I can’t imagine how many kids left disappointed at not being able to do anything. Would not return. Great if you want some photos, other wise it’s great if you want to spend loads of money

Great fun for the kids but a rip off for those paying. We went to haloween event and your ticket price (which was not cheap, almost £100 for a family of 4) got you one pumpkin a scary experience to walk past and fireworks. Everything else in there required more money (and lots of it), from the rides, to facepainting to festival type food.

Conifox is a great experience for young children. The indoor soft play is massive and will cater for children of all ages. The 90 minute timeslot is the only down point - it can come as a bit of quick surprise to my little one. Food is good and decently priced, and there's a lot to do outside as well when the weather is good. I'd advise you go for the 0930 slot rather than the 1130 slot as it's much quieter (although never empty!) so kids can get around to everything easier.

This place was fantastic, employees were very nice, the place was clean, there was SO much to do and the other kids were friendly to my 1 and 8 year old. The biggest problem we had was that they charged my wife and I as well as my kids. It's an odd thing to charge the parents, but maybe that's normal to them. Charging the parents and the kids caused us to pay somewhere around 40 pounds total. They shoudl rethink this policy since parents are just there to make sure their kids are safe.

I think the indoor play area is excellent for kids. However, the outdoor area is really pretty poor and could do with more play areas.I've deducted a star for that reason. The second star is deducted due to the price. For my son and I to go to soft play then outdoors cost is £23.00. That's utterly outrageous in my opinion. Thankfully we brought a packed lunch, as the food was also extortionate and would have taken a morning out for us up to nearer the £50 mark!!

We regularly visit Conifox as it is a wonderful place. It is always immaculatley clean, very friendly staff and incredible facilities. This is the reason we decided to have our little girls first ever Birthday Party here. She was celebrating turning 4 with 16 of her friends. Our outstanding birthday party host Eve done absolutely everything for us. From Greeting the children when they arrived in the room, getting them all lined up and popping their entrance bands on, walking them into the soft play area and explaining to come back to the room for a drink at anytime and to come back when they hear the bell for food. She distributed all the food out to the children when it was time and also helped us with the cake and then cut it all up into slices and popped in the party bags afterwards. We also had a couple allergies within out group and she made sure to know all about these and handled the situation with care to ensure the safety to all children. I honestly could not recommend Conifox anymore either for a softplay experience or a birthday party. (They also have an outside adventure park but we have not experienced this yet)

Rating for the toddler age. I'm sure older kids 2y+ would have a much better experience. The centre charges almost £13 for 1-2 year old on the weekend, yet the toddler area is marked as for 18m+. It feels like the price is disproportionate to the experience offered for 14m old toddler who have just started to walk. No ball pit, slide way too big for them, the tunnel to crawl was just overwhelming, and there were no supports that would encourage the kids to climb up to the tower (the steps were just way to big). Not to mention the older kids roaming around in the toddler area and not paying much attention to the small toddlers. I've been to smaller softplays where the play area for under 2yo is much more appropriate and half of the price. The place felt like a money-making engine. Won't be back for a while until kids are older...

By the following letter of COMPLAINT, I would like to express our huge dissatisfaction and disappointment with your service. Last year in July 2023 I bought the voucher “AH106 - 6 Mile Buzz Helicopter Flight For TWO” and since that time already had two pointless cancellations. The first flight was scheduled in the middle of October 2023 and was canceled due to the weather conditions and the company told us to choose another available date (but the next available dates were only from May 2024). We managed to rebook the next flight on the 19th of May BUT we had a mobile phone in two hours before the flight about unreasonable cancellation, the weather was sunny without rain and wind. Your mobile operator / consultant wasn’t polite and kind, we haven’t got any apologies or explanation why it was canceled already twice, after that your line manager just hung up and finished the call! As a result, for the next date (which is available only in August, in 2 months!!!) we have to pay an extra £20 to book our flight for the third time!!! I am sure you can imagine the frustration this brought, particularly when we rely on your service. I am most annoyed that I wasted a half a day’s vacation and money! I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and propose solving this issue or we want our money back! We are not going to pay extra or wait one more year till our further flight. I look forward to hearing from you and want to discuss with the manager.

This review is purely for the outdoor playpark. It is not worth the price. The main attraction is the go-karts, but all of them are well overdue for service. They are unable to steer properly and extremely hard to pedal. We complained as there was only one double cart available during our visit. The management was ignorant and advised that there are other attractions - which is nonsense, as the go-karts are clearly the main attraction. If you are looking for outdoor play, there are many other places available for a much cheaper price. Management, please get a grip and keep at least your toys in fully working order.

Our recent visit to Coni Fox left us disheartened and disillusioned. While the soft play area for children initially seemed promising, the outdoor facilities were a letdown. The exorbitant pricing of £15 for adults and £20 for children felt unjustified, especially given the lackluster conditions of the muddy and waterlogged inflatables. The staff's dismissive response to our concerns further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. Coni Fox appears out of touch with modern families' needs and is unlikely to retain returning customers with its overpriced and underwhelming offerings.

We paid nearly £200 for 5 adults and 5 children tickets to attend the Easter Festival. There was then an extra £25 to get the children's faces painted. It was a great set up however it was really let down by the fact that the main attractions (the 18 inflatables) were filled with water which resulted in everyone getting soaked and covered in mud despite the fact it was a beautiful day. I understand it was an all weather event and we had dressed appropriately for this as we had expected muddy fields etc with rainfall in previous days. We hadn't expected the bouncy castles to be filled with puddles. One parent even warned that we might want to give the main large tractor one a miss as it had a giant puddle in the middle. We specifically booked the Saturday because the forecast was beautiful so it was disappointing that the organisers left inflatables uncovered overnight in the rain and made no attempt to cover them or dry them off prior to the event starting. We fed this back to the events manager who was very dismissive and just repeated the fact that it was an all weather event. The weather wasn't the issue here as it was a lovely day. Some tarpaulin sheets would have stopped the inflatables getting soaked overnight. Failing that brushing off the excess water also might have helped! Water was still being blown out of them 4 hours later. The event looked great and had all the props to make it amazing but it just wasn't. The egg hunt was a bit of a shambles. It just wasn't great value for money and so we won't be in a hurry to come back. Money would be far better spent at some of the local farms who offer a lot better value for money. It seems plenty realise that as it certainly wasn't the near sell out event we were told it was with hundreds of tickets still available. Looking at the other negative reviews for Conifox there seems to be a common theme!

I recently visited The Coni Fox with my two children over the Easter weekend and wanted to share my thoughts about our experience. Firstly, I must commend you on the wonderful soft play area. It truly is impressive in terms of size and the variety of activities it offers. My children thoroughly enjoyed their time there, and I found the £31.00 price for entry to the soft play reasonable considering the entertainment value it provided. However, I was quite taken aback by the pricing structure for other activities within The Coni Fox. Specifically, the cost of accessing the outdoor area seemed disproportionately high. At £20 for a child and £15 for an adult, the total expense for a day at The Coni Fox quickly escalated to £86.00, which I found to be exorbitantly expensive. As a parent actively seeking activities for my family over the Easter weekend, I couldn't help but compare the pricing of The Coni Fox to other local attractions. It became evident that options such as Edinburgh Zoo, Blair Drummond, the Deer Center, and even a day at the football or activities within Edinburgh city center are considerably more affordable alternatives. Have you named it CONi fox for a reason?

Attended today for the first time and we visited the Activity Centre and it did not disappoint. Plenty to do and see to the point we didn’t see/play with everything as there was so much. Toddler softplay section is the best I have seen - a fair size with plenty to do and not just a ball pit which most others only seem to have. The main play frame was a large size and had many slides and activities. The toddler town was excellent well thought out and executed. Food we had was nice. Do feel the price between the age brackets is odd with their only being £1 of a difference but in relation to this you do get to take your toddler on the bigger play frame also. Very impressed with the parent room - very clean. Bottle warmers were available, baby changing facilities and there were plenty of sofas and beanbags for kids if your little one was needing fed. We are looking forward to visiting again and trying the activity park in the warmer weather. Staff member who let us through the gate to the softplay section was very friendly and informative when we said yes to it being our first visit.

Really poor experience at conifox for the Christmas experience. I appreciate they cannot help the weather but the place was a waterlogged mess. You can see they have tried with this but the quality wasn’t there and it wasn’t the “magical” experience they advertise. The Santa is one of the poorest, infact the worst we have ever seen. It was like a lanky teenage boy dressing up with no idea how to interact with kids. We were not offered a picture of our kids together and they wanted about £18 a picture! Bearing in mind for the 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids we were £185! Not sure what the adults are paying for but I’d expect a picture or the chance of a joint one. The grinch was no where to be seen and the gifts were poor (the build a bear toys were fine but not a good selection for my kids ages) so they picked from the £10 toy section. Very limited choice and everything is cheap, from a wholesaler. My 3 year old picked play dough ( not real playdough) and its had to go straight in the bin as it was solid, not sure how long its been lying. I checked online and those box ranges from £3/£4. I’m not really fussed on the price of a toy if the kids are happy but she cried because she couldn’t use it. We have paid £20/£25 a kid for other places, adults go free and kids got quality branded items like lego & barbie. Never saw the grinch anywhere as advertised. Couldn’t use the flying school as everytime we went to use it it was shut. We even got refused entry to the toy shop as it was “closing” too at the same time as the flying school so we were stuck outside for 20 mins. The rides are also a rip off, £15 and they got 2 shots and marshmallows are £3.50 each too. The whole thing was a complete money grabbing excercise by conifox. The kids of course wanted to go in to the softplay after and as my parents were with us they charged for all 4 adults and it was £37 with another £40 on food. Why are they charging adults into a softplay? All in all, the whole experience and softplay cost us around £280, which is utterly ridiculous, especially when everything was substandard compared to other experiences. Charging for adults is a joke and the hype of this experience has left us all very disappointed.

I recently attended Conifox adventure park, and while the venue itself was stellar, the journey to get there was more reminiscent of a lunar expedition than a trip to soft play. The access road and car park resembled the surface of the moon, thanks to an abundance of potholes that made navigation an unexpected challenge. The crater-filled landscape not only tested the shock absorbers of my vehicle but also left a lasting impression on my overall experience. It's disheartening to see a venue of such caliber neglecting the very first impression it makes on its patrons. I strongly urge the management of Conifox to invest in repairing and maintaining the access road and car park. A smoother entrance would undoubtedly enhance the overall enjoyment of the venue and contribute to a more positive image. In conclusion, while the soft play at Conifox was memorable, the lunar terrain leading up to it was an unexpected downside that deserves immediate attention.

We attended last year's and had a great time but felt we paid well over the odds this time round even in the Balck Friday Sale so thought there must be some great bits added this year. Not the case, less this year only new addition the was the make your own Teddy in the toy workshop. Paid around £186 for 4 kids 4 adults- this was with £44 off. What did we get for it? The kids enjoyed the snowball fight again but aside from this all lacked lustre and even small changes to the set up from last year. Story time with Mrs Claus much the same. The santa visit, kids made to sit on the front seat, last year they all gathered round and sat on the floor whilst the Santa took them all up one by one to ask them what they would like for Xmas- we were able to take photos at this point. And then at the end we stood for family photos and were able to take our own. This year all seemed rushed and less magical. The kids went up with their family for a photo, santa chatted a little and gave us a token for toy workshop. The first family the mother was beginning to take a photo when the elf helper told them to get in she'd take it. She took it using the one set up in the room, so we all followed suit for this. The 3 package options for purchasing the photo where expensive ( on top of what we already paid) and when asked if we could just get the digital we were told it was only available in the £35 package. Outside- reindeer school seemed to have closed, no one coming in or out and looked dark. Post room okay- the actors however along the way and helpers all lovely, can't fault that. Was in a smaller area overall- flying school was inside not like last year with all the mini huts the kids loved and missing the disco. No gingerbread man decorating either. I wasn't expecting the kids funfair rides to be free as they weren't last year however at the price even a few tokens on entry would have been something.... though with it costing 3 tokens for most rides you'd need to have given us 12 for any of the kids to even have had one shot on anything. We even had our brother and sister-in-law come with us after I told him it was one of the better Christmas experiences we had been to last year but I was actually really embarrassed I had suggested it and they had forked out the money for what we got. Hope this feedback is used for future improvements but for us we we won't be returning. And we have attended many other events here I. The past too Halloween, tartan titan. Also was sad to see the restaurant was permanently closed- but not surprised after todays visit.

Cynical Christmas Experience. Sadly Christmas at Conifox has gradually declined into a sorry shadow of it's formal self. £120 entrance for a family of four is the sort of rip-off pricing we've come to expect from most 'events' at Christmas time, but at Conifox that's only the top of the iceberg when it comes to fleecing their customers. The actual experience has been much stripped down. No gingerbread men decorating, no forest of lights, no edible paper letter writing, just a few set-piece entertainment sections. Even Santa takes the opportunity to try to fleece you £18 extra for a photo! The includes gifts (soft toys) were good quality, but you want clothes on it? That's another £10/£12 each please. Fairground attractions in the rain extortionate at £3/£4 each. Apart from the most expensive hook-a-duck ever - £5 each for a cheap plastic toy. Very little in the way of food and drink, toast your own marshmallows for £3.50. Sadly this establishment is still relying on the goodwill generated from previous events, during lockdown they really put in the effort. Now it's a cynical cash-grab and most revellers are likely to leave with a nasty taste in their mouth, their wallets £200 lighter. Sorry, you can get ripped off at Christmas a lot cheaper than this.

What an experience. Santa, elves, snowman, mrs Claus, reindeers, toasted marshmallows, nice or naughty tester, grinch and so mush more. Kids absolutely loved it, highly recommend for a Xmas experience, Tom

Really disappointed that after 2 excellent Christmas experiences this year's is so lacking in value. A big jump in price but so much has been removed from previous years, this felt nothing like the magical Christmas experience where the kids got to decorate Christmas cookies or dance at the elf disco. This felt like these experiences had been removed to persuade you to spend more money on the funfair rides that had far more prominence. Sad to say that after recommending Conifox to so many people for both their seasonal events as well as the park itself I won't be spending a single pound more there, short term greed over maintaining the high standards set previously.

We were here as a family last year and had an absolutely magical experience, this year very disappointing, lots of things missing, no cookie decorating, no elves houses to visit, and although we saw the grinch was so much better last year when he was in his own place, disappointing

I was at this place on Friday for a company event with my 2 little kids, I had really bad experience when I went to buy food at the bar outside three people was working there 2 boys and a young girl, the 2 boys were very unexperienced and the girl was very rude and unprofessional she ruined my feeling for the whole evening! It was my first time being there and definitely it will be last time. It’s not even a safe place to be at.

Great for kids, price is a bit high for adults but the kids will love everything. Sandpits, go carts, golf football trampolines and more. Food at the bistro is very nice in a lovely setting. Went to the soft play for the first time and was impressed. Very big with enough to entertain even our 9 year old. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Went to the Christmas event and was equally impressed, the actors gave it their all and it was all Indoors which was greatly appreciated in December. Again an expensive experience but I would say worth it overall.

The outdoor adventure park was awful. My two kids aged 11 and 8 found it very boring. We were I and out in 30 mind after a walk round and shot of swings and go karts. Football golf wasn't on. I have emailed conifox 2 weeks ago and not even an acknowledgement of my complaint.

We went for the Santa experience and the kids absolutely loved it Don’t make the mistake of thinking the price includes access to soft play or the play park. The price is for a separate part with shows etc. The staff were absolutely amazing, the elf’s and Santa really done well playing the role and the kids will 100% remember this experience for life.

Done the Xmas experience here and wee one loved it. Turned up 15 mins before, like was told and then I wait to go in the 1st bit - like an mini x-ray machine to see if u r good but we kinda miss this as we didn't know it was there, only when we went though and the people behind beep that we knew. Elf's was fun and wee walk though the woods was good, the nutcracker and snowman was our best part and wee one loved the snowball fight. Mrs Santa was cozy and got an nice story, before going though to Santa but he just had an picture and gave an coin, no interaction at all with the kids just picture here's an coin, next....the pictures was shocking - kids not ready or looking some was crying. Reindeer flying school was good fun and very interactive. The post box was good fun for the wee one ☺️ Wee one loved making an teddy and we seen the Grinch there. Was -2⁰ outside so wee bit cold but wrap up and its all good. Make sure u have good shoes was not flat walking surface and seen lots of people struggle with buggies. £18 for 2 picture with Santa is an bit much 😩 all rides was about £5 each and roasting marshmallows for 3 was £3.50 and it's card only. Can buy extra gifts if wanted £10 for an toy and £20 for an teddy plus £10 for an teddy outfit. Plus there was light up things, face panting and food / drink, can soon add up on top of entrance prices. All staff was very nice and the place was very clean and tidy will definitely do again.

Great place for some time out with kids, couples, family, or friends. It can be very expensive. For 5 adults (2 of these were 16) and one child, the evening tickets, purchasing food, soft drinks, and fair tickets cost around £380. The rides are expensive and if you go on with a very young child some charge for the adult too, a review of this would be good to allow the adult on free. The fireworks at the end were impressive and if you stick to the basics and don't buy anything or go on the rides, it will save a lot. It maybe the events do offer free tickets now and then, if not they should as this will allow others to enjoy the night out without the cost.

Went here for a wee change. The soft play is massive and sure to keep your little ones (and not so little ones) entertained for the duration. The wee village they have is cool too, with loads to keep your little ones imagination ticking over.

Had booked online in advance for the outdoor adventure area, then took note of the delightful weather forecast, called to ask to switch to the indoor for the same day - the staff kindly allowed this! Very grateful! First time here, impressed with indoor activity centre staff who were friendly and efficient, soft play activities which is clean and super fun for kids, and the cafe. Very well managed facility.

Went for lunch before a match at Murrayfield. The restaurant was busy but the service was still quick. Very well priced and varied lunch menu. The staff were helpful about gluten free options too, confirming that the chips are cooked in a separate fryer.

The food was absolutely amazing!! It had a good portion of food, and out of all the places I’ve tried in Edinburgh this one has the best portion to quality to price ratio!

Stopped off here many times on the way home in recent years but tonight was probably the last time. 10.30 pm and we walked in to chairs being being stacked on tables and a very brusque, ' we're closing soon, this area is closed '. We found an'open' table and got drinks but the whole atmosphere was very off with the female manager(?) walking round the bar loudly saying 'we're closed now' and continuing to stack chairs on tables as soon as they became vacant. Very unusual for a bar that used to be open until 1 am and was busy and buzzing with locals. Sadly no more. We will not likely be back.

We ordered soup and cheese toasties. Homemade, comforting and authentic! Big plus for their fresh sourdough bread. All the pastries were tempting, that will be for next time :)
