Ordered a large cup of latte . The texture of the milk was just not right. The barista didn’t pay attention at all. Very disappointed.

Disappointing. Long wait followed by lukewarm, insipid coffee. Pineapple iced tea was also lacking in flavour. We won’t return.

My first venture into this local sandwich bar, as recommended by colleagues - great selection of food, at very reasonable prices. I opted for baked potato with 1 filling and no butter, whilst the potato was well cooked and the filling was both tasty and ample my preference would have been for the potato to be fluffed up inside as opposed to simply sliced open. This not only allows the filling to mix better but allows it to be eaten easier especially when using disposable cutlery. This is a small criticism, easily rectified that can make a huge difference.

Si publican en su sitio web (está inmediatamente a la izquierda al salir de la calle Giles e inmediatamente a la derecha al ingresar a la calle Giles), habría ahorrado un poco de cuero para zapatos y un buen remojo. Me doy cuenta de que se encuentra en un edificio de la Lista A, pero es ridículo que no se les permita adjuntar algún tipo de señalización decente para informar a Joe Public de su existencia. No tenía idea sobre el valor, ya que me unía a un amigo que había recibido un cupón de regalo, pero todo estaba cubierto por el cupón. Una buena experiencia que consideraría repetir.

Called here for the rugby match midday. Seating area was untidy and very cramped. You had to get a code for the toilet which frustrated other customers. Wont be going here again.

This is quite possibly the nicest Starbucks on the globe - and we’ve been to a fair few. The staff are just lovely, they treat us like old friends. The layout is quirky but cool. The location, Stockbridge, is the best in Edinburgh. It’s getting renovated right now and we miss it so much. See you soon!😘

Very lovely server here helped me on a Monday to get my £2 student drink as UNiDAYS wasn’t working properly! He was so friendly and made my day. Great atmosphere in the cafe too :)

This is a great location and the staff are lovely. (we were there on Tuesday 18th June.) The coffee is also very nice. Unfortunately it was filthy - the toilets needed a good clean - they were quite disgusting. The tables also needed clearing up more regularly - and a spot of cleaner on the tables wouldn't go amiss.

Small cafe with friendly staff. Good coffee and had an amazing bacon and cheese croissant. Worth a visit for some takeaway coffee or if you can manage to get a seat and people watch

Let me preface this by saying that we did have an okay time at this establishment. We were greeted and seated quickly, told there was table service and the server checked in on us fairly quickly. After his shift ended, it kind of all changed for the worse. There was not a lot of people there, and quite a lot of servers, however it almost seemed like our table was avoided. While the wife went off to do a bit of shopping I figured I could have a drink and enjoy a bit of sun on a day where the forecast said rain. After finishing my drink, my empty glass was on the table for 40 minutes without anyone coming by even though they passed by frequently. I finally flagged someone down from a group of servers having a conversation, and I got a new drink. After this happening a couple more times, we decided to move on. Getting the check was also basically the same thing, a group of servers having a conversation so I went up to them. Most of them didn't even react when I asked for the check, but one very nice lady helped me out. Really hope this changes as I enjoyed the location, music and selection.

Rude owner Lesley I believe her name to be complained about having lipstick on my glass she wasn't happy dirty toilets and the barmaid who looks like Meg griffin from family guy looks like she's on the game such a horrible and dirty pub rude staff

Quick coffee break whilst visiting Edinburgh and sheltering from the rain. It was very busy but waiters were attentive and organised Cosy little cafe

This was a great find as it was a joy to sit outside in this lovely spot, enjoying the sunshine away from the busy streets. Cheerful service and good range of cafe food.

A great budget breakfast for all. Found our first in Peterhead and will continue to look for them in our UK travels. Coffee refills and most breakfast meals under £7. A must for all.
