Extremely warm service staff despite long queues during peak hour at the Waverley station. There was an issue with my credit card + their machine and the staff member (unfortunately didn't get his name) was extremely helpful and even eased out all payment processes.

The advertising for this store could be much better, I've only recently discovered them but will go out of my way from the costas and starbucks to come here. The coffee is delicious and the food is even better. Best part? Its quiet and calm. You can find ques going out the door in other places but you'll be guaranteed a small wait here.

I come from a sunny beaches and healthy food kind of lifestyle and every now and then I get a real urge to have a juice or an acai bowel. I managed to find this place when I was in Edinburgh and boy am I glad! I went there pretty much every day I was there to get either a smoothie or an acai bowel. Food was great and the price you'd expect for tropical fruity things in somewhere like Edinburgh.

I give him a 1 star because it does not allow me to give no stars at all. Looking forward to another amazing Scottish breakfast, but this was the worse experience in Edinburgh. Black pudding, sausages, tomato, bacon and some other processed meat was not edible. Waa like rubber. Coffee was of the worse quality. Had to put 6 sugars and yet could not drink it, as it was so bitter. Place is very dirty. Please choose another spot to eat!

Stayed 2 nights in the Doubletree Hotel in which the brasserie is located. Really looking forward to trying out. Completely unable to as both nights it was a private function. No warning from hotel and no signage to say so, stood like an idiot at the 'please wait here to be seated'. Really don't waste your time even trying!

Small pub. Not on main route. Must be a nightmare getting beer kegs to the pub. Beer was good. Staff friendly. Welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve been here a couple times, unfortunately the food seems to have recently not just gone downhill but dived off a cliff edge. We were a group of 8, and only 2 of us actually enjoyed the food - my burger was hard as a rock in places, and my MIL’s “soft” tacos actually splintered apart. Food is insanely overpriced given the quality. Drinks-wise the bar has some decent options and the vibe inside isn’t bad, but dear god please don’t eat here when there are much better options just down the road.
