Fantastic venue to watch rugby with friends.

Great thumbs up to the Espy and their staff and organisation. Organised the local cycling clubs Annual Christmas Night Out for a party of 40. They make organising the night out easy and the food, particularly for such a large group, was first class. Special thanks to Amanda Caygill and Sid Ghadi for their patience and understanding in arranging the night out.

Intellectual and very inclusive place. We had a refreshing tea break. Thank you for the decaf option. Carrot cake was delicious

Nice old fashioned bar....although refurbished ston6e years ago but looks old. Seats a bit narrow only complaint. Great range of beers etc and helpful staff

Staff and atmosphere were lacking, service was poor. Food was average - really lacked enough sauce over the waffles felt it was a bit stingy servings and pricey.

The General Manager is a gem. He's brilliant, attentive as anything, and super friendly. The short brunette girl with glasses is rude lazy and avoids serving folk at all cost, thats costing the changer business and a reputation. The young brown haired lad that worked with her was OUSTANDING. tipped him cause he served 3 people in the time the other lass served one. aye she's the reason for the 1 star review

If you just wanna stay in a good and very central location and don't really care about anything else, this is the place for you. Beds weren't great, springs had gone on my friends bed and mine was way too soft causing backpain. Of the already way too few showers and toilets, which were also tiny some where closed for maintenance over a super busy period. Unacceptable if you want to accommodate the amount of people they do. Dorms were quite bright due to outside lights and no proper way of keeping them out. Whole hostel could do with some renovations. Staff is hit & miss, some of them were very nice, others seemed like they hated talking to people, which is rather unfortunate if they work at reception.
