Cafe with a fine deli... Had soup and sandwich... Wonderful fresh food... Great portion size and brill coffee... Been in a few times and can highly recommend... Family run and try their very best to pleade all the time.

The ladies were lovely, the food was incredible, the space was wonderful. Sp happy to have stumbled onto this gem when visiting from Canada!

Recommended by our land lady, we stopped by for breakfast/brunch on Monday. Simply fabulous. Only had time for a quick stop. Was great to see the bees and artwork. If I were a local I would consider myself in luck to have such a great place to go to all the time. Very rare to find such a gem. We were staying 40 miles away and made a detour for our breakfast, says something. The servers were simply brilliant, and the veggie breakfast the best.

We popped in here for lunch while passing for the first time and were glad we did. The service was good, very quick and efficient, staff were very friendly. There is a good selection on the menu and even a dog menu, which our dogs loved! The soup was delicious and toasties were tasty but a little burnt around the sides so we couldn't even bite into some of them. They have no disabled parking which is disappointing. We will definitely pop in again if passing!

One of the hidden gems in Stirling, the food was amazing. Very picturesque and relaxing place for food or just to enjoy a cake or ice cream or coffee made from the heart with local products.

Very tasty lunch of Mac cheese with bacon. Freshly made....loads of lovely cheesy sauce. Service good, busy with lovely welcoming atmosphere. Bonus...one of the customers was Jules from Escape to the Country and also Kaye Adams. Tempted but didn't ask for a selfie🤣🤣

Lovely Sunday lunch. We had the Sunday roast and some members of party had beef and others lamb. Both roasts were tasty, beautifully presented and hot!! Great service and we would recommend and return, just what the village needs.

One staff member showed unnecessarily rude behaviour rushing me out with my dog. Completely over the top response let us down in what is otherwise a delightful wee cafe.

What an excellent stop en route from the central belt to Argyll! The range of food and drink, and the made-from-scratch paninis in particular, were excellent.

Nos detuvimos en el bistro para pedir direcciones a nuestro b&b. Nos quedamos impresionados por la bienvenida al joven en el mostrador, así que decidimos volver más tarde para la cena. Muy contento de haberlo hecho ya que nuestras comidas deliciosas. recién preparado, casa y comida. Mi marido especialmente disfrutó su pollo asado con black pudding y el pegajosa pudding toffees era encantador. Este fue un final estupendo para viajes de un día. Gracias

Lovely little place for lunch after our hike. Homemade soup was amazing and toastie. Good value good service and tasty food

El café aquí es consistentemente bueno, que es genial. Mi marido tenía un rollo de tocino bien lleno y, aunque eran las 9 am, los bollos estaban listos y recién salidos del horno! La señora que servía vino a la mesa con un enorme bollo diciendo que había ganado el premio mayor y que lo lograría? No hay problema... El personal es siempre alegre y amable y la tienda de regalos contigua tiene un montón de cosas agradables entre las que navegar.

While staying in the Hotel, we had a pint in the Ptarmigan and it was fine - as was the service. From an atmosphere perspective it felt more like a pub than the the bar in the Buchanan, but less so than the Drymen Inn or the Clachan, and I guess it’s in that midstream area between pub and hotel bar. We would be happy to use it again - depending on what sort of atmosphere we were looking for.

We ate on a Monday evening when staying at the hotel. The food was lovely home cooked and huge portions. We had Fajitas and a curry. Both were great. 10/10
