Use often on pizza Friday via the app. Had an extra put into my pizza which unfortunately was a long brown hair! Pulled it out my mouth whilst on my second slice! Rest went in the bin. Come to think of it they don’t wear anything over their hair in the kitchen area? Disgusting 🤮. Won’t be back.

New to the village we were welcomed into Doyle’s by the most friendly staff. Food is delicious too! Everything is fresh and tasty and they’re really accommodating with specific diets. It’s the kind of place you can go to on your own, in couples and groups and families - and you’re welcome outside with your dogs who are also treated warmly as guests. I love it and have been several times and will continue to frequent this lovely place. The view outside is just wonderful while you drink your chosen beverage and eat one of their home made cakes!!! Don’t come to Balfron without visiting.

Visited with a friend after an exhausting walk from Killearn, must just have been open a few weeks since the country has started to come out of lockdown. The best, friendliest and efficient service. Handling the Covid-19 restrictions like pros. A good example for every other hospitality business.

Visited here on Friday night for the pizza evening. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good however the pizza was the worst one I’ve ever had. The base was hard and it almost felt like I was eating cardboard. There was not enough tomato sauce or cheese on the pizza. We left feeling very ripped off. Will not be returning. The couple next to use had a check to make sure their food was ok however he did not ask us so felt as though we couldn’t say anything!

I've been going to this little place for lunch for years, it's great for locals and tourists and the staff are so kind. The food is always lovely; you can't beat their chicken tikka or bacon baguette. The bread they use is always fresh and delicious and the pizza and cakes are good too! Most of the surrounding areas have their own little establishments but I'm sure locals are jealous of Balfron for having Doyles.

We were staying in Balfron for a couple of days and stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. We were amazed at the quality of the food. We both had toasties and the coleslaw was to die for. We were disappointed to find the cafe closed on the Sunday. We were back again Monday where we had the same plus carrot cake this time. The owner was lovely and was the perfect gent. How they cook the quality of food in their tiny and I mean tiny kitchen dumbfounds me. We’ll be back again in October and this place will be top of the list for a visit. I would recommend this place to everyone, you couldn’t ask for a better lunch spot.

A group of us stayed a week in the Balfron area. We discovered Doyle's and it was an awesome place to go for breakfast! The owners were VERY personable and we had great visits with them when we stopped in. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. Coffee and lattes were hot and full of flavor. We loved Doyle's and will recommend them to anyone that is traveling to that area!

Through the week a friendly meeting place for a tea or coffee, however on a Friday evening transforms itself into a fantastic pizza restaurant. Simple menu and wine list however the pizzas are quality and can be accompanied by a sensibly priced wine selection. Please do not tell anyone, otherwise I am just going to have to book even further ahead.

Doyle's is a gem of a café, good for coffee, snacks or pizza on a Friday evening. The staff ate very friendly and service is good. They also have some deli & wine items for sale. This is one of the best cafés in Stirlingshire. Good range of vegetarian food and they also cater fir school children who want a healthier lunch, this can make the café seem busy but in no ay affects other customer enjoyment - apart from being amazed at how fast they serve the kids!

So glad we found this place, it's a gem! Noticed it as we drove through the village looking for some lunch, and it looked inviting so we went in. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the cafe was clean, tidy and modern, with a lot of thoughtful touches and good use of space. We were quickly invited to take a seat at a table of our choice, and given a menu. The lunch menu was good and varied, and we chose to have homemade soup and half paninis. The food arrived after a very short wait, and was beautifully presented, with a little salad, coleslaw and delicious crisps on the side. Portions were generous and it was all delicious. We ate the lot! We'd definitely go back again next time we're in the area. The homemade cakes on display on the counter looked yummy but sadly we didn't have room for cake (good excuse to go there again!).

Popped in here when I was cycling past. Had worked up quite a hunger so needed fed quickly! Staff were friendly dispite my outlandish and mud spattered lycra clad appearance. My work colleagues and I came across this lovely rural cafe and decided to drop in for breakfast. The service was excellent and the waitress who served us was a credit to the the business. There was a slight mix up with the orders (which really didn't bother us at all) but the lovely waitress insisted that we have free pancakes and syrup as an apology!!! How could we possibly refuse!!!!Will be recommending this superb cafe to friends and family.

Had my Father staying so decided to try this Café after a friends recommendation. We both opted for a Panini each served with a side salad. I had a Italian and my Father a Cheese and Ham. Lovely big paninis arrived with a lovely fresh salad, a pot of coleslaw and crisps. We followed this with a coffee each and chose a lemon drizzle cake and a chocolate brownie. I was very impressed with the cakes and bought a selection to take home as I left.Needless to say neither of us needed much of an evening meal. I can see why this place came highly recommended, really nice to find a warm friendly atmosphere and such tasty food, including proper coffee. Real value for money.

There's a lovely ambience in this rural cafe. I've always been welcomed on arrival. Doyle's is perfect for a light lunch or morning coffee but Friday night pizza is well worth a visit. Pizza's are made to order and are fresh and delicious, especially when washed down with an ice cold bottle of Peroni. Have been on many occasions and haven't ever been disappointed. Do try to avoid the mayhem that is school lunchtime. The kids pile in to buy baguettes, filled rolls etc but in fairness the bedlam is very short lived (approx 20 mins). There's also a deli with a selection of wines for sale.

Doyle's is a good quality, friendly deli-cafe in picturesque Balfron (the views of the Campsies from the Main Street make them seem far more impressive than their modest height. The paninis and toastis are always fresh and good value but the best option for a light lunch are the cute wee pizzas.

Don't get where these bad reviews are coming from, I've been to Doyle's a lot and never had an issue! For a start it's the only place within 10 miles you can get a decent coffee... but every single ingredient from the (home-made) bread, salads, pancakes etc is of the highest quality - a genuine unpretentious and high quality culinary experience!OK, it's a modest cafe, service is sometimes a little slow (but always pleasant), it is a little cramped, and you need to avoid lunch hour at the high school - but don't miss it! One complaint - no wifi and no O2 signal - so you can't read email on your iPhone when you're waiting for the coffee! What else can you do...? And, my wife doesn't like the toilet with a sliding door...
