Coffee Bothy in Stirling

Nice place for lunch and lovely staff but beware the Christmas club sandwich! This consisted of three pieces of dried toast, dry turkey, some dried stuffing, a few bits of sausage and a little cranberry sauce. Definitely needed a drink to wash it down. Nowhere on the menu does it say it’s a toasted sandwich. When we attempted some pleasant, we thought constructive, feedback we were shot down by the manageress who suggested that it wasn't dry as it had butter on it (don’t think it did) and that all club sandwiches are toasted (I don’t think they are). Ginger latte was tasty and definitely welcome after eating this! We've been before and had some lovely food so it was a disappointing experience on this occasion.

Loved this place for eating in. The homemade soup and toasted sandwich was delicious. The shop, like many farm shops, was a bit pricey.

Our favourite place to go for breakfast or lunch. This place is a gem. Service and food are always amazing. Kids friendly, staff always check if kids want colourings and crayons. Even when a place is super busy, they really take care of you 😊

A real find Brilliant food and service

Was refused the breakfast menu as it was 5 mins after midday! Had scrambled egg toast streaky bacon and avacado the egg was so dry you couldn’t taste it as was the streaky bacon … over cooked again no taste and the svacado was tasteless … V disappointing as the Bothy was usually spot on with the food … coffee was excellent

A miniature paradise that sits just disconnected enough out of the main city to feel peaceful and solemn without being any hassle at all to get to; a quick jaunt from town! Atmosphere is unmatched, the staff are all a delight, and the food tasty. Sadly I got tucked into way too quickly to take a photo, but the Soup of the Day was Roasted Tomato and Cumin paired with a deliciously crispy mozzarella, pesto and cherry tomato toastie; it was like a hug to the heart! Be sure to walk back through the farm shop to pick up some of the same delicious food they make instore, premade and packed to take home with you!

Really busy cafe/farm shop with attentive staff. Food was good but really noisy in there. Well worth a visit with stunning views in every direction.

Been here many times. Good service, good food and baking. Great coffee. Nice clean toilets and lots of parking. Only thing I don't like is it does get very busy, and noisy. But if you don't mind that it's a good place to go.

These guys rock. A couple of the waitresses (thank you Charlie and Lauren) saw the look in my face when my favourite soup got wiped off the board and went to the effort of finding a tiny bit extra and give it to me as a gift. How good is that!? (plus their cakes and coffees are fantastic?) Definitely five stars!

Quality and first class the menu has more traditional items to choose from. Well done the farmer and or the Bothy the road in is no longer potholed. Smooth drive in for all the delicate wee soles not getting bounced about on the way in.

Well worth a visit great food

It's been a few years since we've been but had a few friends head that way lately so I thought we'd contribute. Great coffee and the best fish and chips in Scotland! We also enjoyed looking through the attached shops. Some complain about sparse attention from servers, but we didn't have that issue at all. Maybe we're not as needy. LOL Overall it was a great experience! So much so that it's the only place in-country that we visited more than once.

Lovely farmhouse food and cakes and enjoyed the fresh strawberries from the farm shop I bought for later on.

First visit with a cousin who goes fairly regularly. Promptly seated and we had coffee and cake in the Bothy Cafe wjich were excellent. I also did a food shop for a sausage roll and a black pudding roll plus some local wine. Very friendly staff.

Fantastic place for coffee or lunch break. A bit noisy inside due to lack of sound absorbing materials and one or two noisy staff. Well worth a visit not withstanding 👍

Where can you go and get a nice warm welcome everyone you visit? Cakes that are always look amazing, presented well and taste out of this world with flavour? THR Coffee Bothy! Andrew and Rich have made this local place a hit! If you are in the island and want to support local small business, stop in here! Take away is a great option here, the coffee, tea or hot chocolate are brilliant! Not in the mood for cake? Then try the food, just as good as the cakes! I love visiting here!

We had a lovely lunch with family at the Coffee Bothy yesterday. The soup which can be ordered in small or large portions and bread/rolls were superb. So many choices for beverages including decaf tea and coffee and lots of sweet treats too. We hope we will have the pleasure of coming again

We visited shortly before closing and thought we was pushing it. How wrong was we, welcomed by the staff and the lovely jinx! I had a Snickers cake and a lovely flat white My wife tried the Luxury Hot Choc Cake and it was all amazing. Even took some takeaway for the evening brew! Make sure you visit if your passing.

Excellent farm shop and restaurant with everything from fun stuff for kids to furniture and loads of lovely food. Great restaurant and coffee stop. Two of our favourites are the macaroni and the falafel brioch. And the cakes are just awesome.

My Mum took me & my husband for lunch, they both had minestrone soup, my Mum then had apple & cinnamon pie & custard, hubby had a tuna sandwich. I had roasted honey parsnip soup which was to die for & blackpudding, brie & chutney toastie which was lovely, we had soft drinks with our lunch. Hadn't been in since the farm shop has been extended, we had to wait about 15 mins for a table but spent time browsing in the shop while we waited

I have been to the Coffee Bothy many times and the food is always excellent. Today I treated myself to lunch and the special was Smoked Haddock Pie with veg. Wow 👌 👏 The pie came looking amazing topped with creamy mash with garden peas, carrots and cabbage on the side. The carrots and peas were al dente and as they should be, the cabbage was well shredded and the flavour of butter and garlic added to it's deliciousness. The pie was stunning with the smoked haddock the star but also including egg and a creamy parsley sauce. Please put this on the main menu, it is stunning and I would definitely recommend. 😋

Notvonly was the pie delicious and full of smoked haddock and egg but the veg were delicious too. The cabbage was shredded finely and the flavour of butter and garlic added to it's deliciousness. Always have good food when visiting the Coffee Bothy but this was exceptional 👌

A nice place and the food is very tasty, but it feels a touch expensive for what is on offer. I'm saying that, but I do tend to visit every 2 months or so as I do enjoy the food.

A lovely place to visit and the staff are so lovely and the food is delicious I also enjoyed learning about the history of the how the eatery came about. Lovely gifts and healthy ready made meals with fresh produce.

Spent a long time in cafe but didn't feel we had to move.....

Popped in for a coffee…….ended up having a delicious lunch with a delicious homemade cake for dessert. Service was very good, even reccomending some local walks. Beautiful location and the shop is great to have a look round and find some unique gifts!

Great little restaurant but we (3friends) use the Express section every week for a lunchtime snack. The food is excellent and the bacon, brie and cranberry toasted panini is the best I've had anywhere.

We've been here a few times. Service is efficient and welcoming. Coffee was fine. Scones average. The room was very cold. Overall would go back as the place as a whole is pleasant.

Was disappointed on there food today. I had ordered a big breakfast and scrambled eggs with bacon,avocado and sunblushed tomatoes and a couple off hot drinks. £28 and they all tasted the same. Wouldn't go for breakfast again

Decidedly dog-UNfriendly. After reading comments which suggested we'd be welcome with ours, we were told (it was windy and rainy) that we'd have to sit outside and brave the storm. Very poor. No reason why they can't match the welcome of other genuinely dog-friendly places (eg Dobbie's, Powmill, West Port Linlithgow, Canadian Barn Falkirk, and many more) by having a small designated area inside. That would save folks like us having a wasted journey.

Stopped by for a coffee and breakfast roll. Ingredients were all top notch, the place was spotless and efficicient and service very friendly! Will be back!

We had a long ride and looked for a refreshment. Getting to a very quiet town and found this little gem. Very very friendly and nice people and lovely food. The whole cafe is decorated well, homey and cosy. Would definitely recommend.

If you are anywhere near Skye, go to The Coffee Bothy. In fact, do not leave the island without going! Why? Rich and Andrew’s warm welcome, the super tasty food (especially the soup), mouth watering cakes, speedy service yet with a lovely, relaxed vibe, some damn fine coffee and, if you’re really, really lucky, a wee smile from young Struan!

Do not visit here with a dog unless you are prepared to sit outside in all weathers! There are only 4 tables and you ha e to pass your dog through a hole in the fence!

A great place! Warm welcome, delightful dog and cakes to die for!! The friend who was with me had no less than THREE and then bought two more to take home! If I ever come back to Broadford, I shall be sure to have breakfast, lunch and tea at the Coffee Bothy!! Good luck guys! You deserve to do really well with food of this quality!
