The pirn inn in Stirling

Good food and a warm welcome.

Lovely Sunday lunch. We had the Sunday roast and some members of party had beef and others lamb. Both roasts were tasty, beautifully presented and hot!! Great service and we would recommend and return, just what the village needs.

I tried to go in here and there was just a terrifying dog (literally only a dog) just barking in a scary way at the door. I generally am a fan of dogs but it was like something out of a horror movie! 0/10 do not recommend!

Quaint Country Pub, Very attentive Staff, Pool Table, Darts, Most Saturdays Evenings there are variety of Live Bands. Great Atmosphere, excellent Variety of drinks. Now reopened for food, elegant/pleasant dining area, substantial menus, check online for details of opening times. Highly Recommended👍🐼😎

A group of us were staying in Balfron for a few days. Decided to give The Pirn Inn a try and glad we did. Proper old school building, very cosy and friendly staff and clientele. Sat on the benches outside in the early midweek evening sunshine. Friendly local dog and cat kept us company and slept by our table. Lady behind bar told us that they do a roast on Sundays. Definitely recommend if you're in Balfron looking for a place to drink. They also serve Cruzcampo on draught, which was great to see

We had dinner here last night and the food was 10/10 so was the presentation, only thing is I think the portions of chips were a bit too small but I think they will need more space once people start trying the food the chef obviously knows his stuff and I think they will do really well with the quality of the meals.

Just looking for facilities on A811; then we stopped in Balfron, then we found this inn, we hanged out with local people, super welcoming&friendly pub, great pints, lovely…

Food is very good and reasonable pricing

Saddened to see that this great wee village pub has been turned into a Chinese takeaway although it wouldn't take much to transform it back again....the Chinese food was really good, by the way! I'm adding this latterly in response to the new owner of The Pirn Inn as they've quite rightly corrected my post. The reply to my original review is a very welcome one, and I'm sure that the village of Balfron will also be heartened by the news that a very popular eating and drinking venue will soon be opening up their doors again for the public to enjoy their produce and hospitality.... brilliant news!!! BTW, the Chinese is still a must try LOL 🤣

Vine aquí para pasar unas vacaciones relajadas con amigos y tropecé con esta joya escondida por casualidad, pero Olivia y Jo (los propietarios) no podrían haber sido más acogedores. Su cachorro edwina también fue una gran ventaja. una noche tan acogedora, agradable y relajada. 10/10 lo recomendaría.

Muy recomendable. Pedido para llevar dos veces desde aquí durante nuestra estadía en Benview Lodge. Los mejores chinos que hemos probado en mucho tiempo.

It could not be called a restaurant don't get the Chinese food

When reading out the delivery the person on line waited till I was fully finished reading before telling me to speak up which I did I then repeated my order to her and she judged it saying it didn’t sound very tasty she then became increasingly loud and literally shouted for the rest of the call at one point even “stating are you joking”. Cheek all the way through the call before saying I’m not taking this order and hanging up

Regrettably I ordered a vegetarian meal for my Vegan son Including VEGETABLE SPRING ROLLS. I gave them to him and he ate half of one before being violently ill. They contained meat! On calling them I was told that she had repeated the order back to me as Spring Rolls and I didn't disagree! Not impressed. She said I could have a refund of the £2.40 but that was all she could offer! BLACK MARKS! WE HAVE EATEN THEIR FOOD MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS! JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

Muy buena comida, las mujeres fueron muy útiles con las instrucciones para encontrar el lugar y muy agradable. Recomendaría satay de carne de res y carne chow principal

Excellent local pub. Great atmosphere. Good range of beers and ales, pumped and bottled. Awesome range of gins. Live music at weekends. Good dartboard and pool table. Next door is a chinese takeaway.

Pedimos comida para llevar que estaba lista cuando lo prometido. El tamaño de las porciones son generosas. La comida es excelente y una gran relación calidad-precio. Nota que solo tomaron dinero en efectivo!

Friendly, quirky pub. Friendly accomodating staff. "No, we are closed....but have a drink anyway" ! And so the lady cleaning the pub made me a coffee. Will be heading back to have a beer.

I absolutely love the food here I ended up having the rice and sweet and sour sauce for my breakfast it was that good

Friendly Inn, el personal era excelente, buena comida y servicio de restaurante, el personal del bar era eficiente y gente acogedora, sin duda volveremos y cada noche parecía tener una variedad de entretenimiento. Una pequeña joya local donde los propietarios y el personal parece que hace todo lo posible para que te sientas como en casa. Sin duda volveremos pronto y lo recomendaría a mis amigos y familia
