Fletcher’s in Stirling

We have just been for dinner/late lunch food not cooked chicken and chips for child half cooked. I have ordered pasta with chicken and never eat a chicken that was that old that it was bron in colour when I advised waitress she said she will speak to manager at the end that have taken £2 off my bill no apology from manager will not be back. Food was always great but not rhis time. Will not be back as horrible customer service and disgusting food 😑

Great place, food was adequate however the atmosphere was a little loud.

Nice staff. Pretty restaurant and food was good. I thought there would be more breakfast choices but was good. Room left a lot to be desired. Felt empty (repaired holes on wall, no wall decor at all...go opportunity to cover up repairs), bathroom was a little icky (mold around tub/shower hairs in tub) and worse for wear (dated and chipped/worn old furniture, stains on floor and sheets) Hardest bed I've ever slept on. Was ok for 100£ a night but wouldn't stay there again.

I want to make special mention of Stuart (from the restaurant) who made us feel so at home - he really looked after us and was so kind and thoughtful in helping with our boys and ensuring we had a nice dining experience at Fletchers. Actually, all of the staff at Fletchers were so accommodating - outstanding service all round - highly recommend.

Been a few times for food, lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food has always been lovely.

We were extremely impressed with Fletcher's. It was walking distance from the train station. Beautiful building. Rooms were big, clean, comfortable bed, amenities were good and breakfast was included. Their restaurant was fabulous. We made dinner reservations and since we had a room, they gave us a prime table. The service was outstanding and the meal delicious! We were on a 33 day UK trip and this place was one of the best accomodations. The room was very affordable as well. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly. My food wasn’t anything special though - average at best. The pasta was either very over cooked, or just cheap, as it was falling apart on the fork. Food didn’t take too long to come. Cocktail was nice. Unfortunately would not return as the food wasn’t the best.

We booked for an over night, and also booked dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. I particularly enjoyed my Venison dish at dinner. The service from all the staff was excellent and the room very comfortable. Only one slight down side is that some of the pubic areas as you enter via the back door are a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint.

Paige was our server for the evening and she was polite, friendly and so incredibly helpful. The food and atmosphere were excellent! If you go you must get the venison. Amazing selection of drinks! I will be back and I suggest you go as well.

WiFi is not usable - too many breaks in service. Noisy location. Guest bed awful - the mattress is not fit for purpose. Helpful staff. Decent food.

The staff are welcoming, dinner was good - our server was pleasant and the food tasty. Our experience with the room was less good. We had asked for a twin room but were given a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was like sleeping on coals. Awful! WiFi was very patchy and not reliable.

Did not stay at Fletchers, but the food was exceptional. Scallops were PERFECT! both my wife and I enjoyed our dinners here more than anywhere else we had eaten in Scotland, and compared to prices elsewhere I thought this was a great value.

Only went to the restaurant but atmosphere, food, staff, and cleanliness were all great. Definitely recommend :)

Fantastic hotel and restaurant right in the heart of Stirling. The room was very good, spotlessly clean, large with a bath and shower. Good bed, excellent service. What's not to like?!

Arrived in Stirling in the evening, ravenous, and ordered the Cullen Skunk, followed by the venison. Good food, but if I'm being picky, the dauphinoise potatoes could have been a little softer and creamier. The Cullen Skunk was delicious and the venison was a succulent, tender and gamey. Service was delightful, welcoming and unhurried, Slightly let down by TV on the wall. Will visit again!

I was at Fletchers for an afternoon tea, given to me from a friend. It was absolutely delicious, everything freshly made. The staff were so professional and friendly. The Atmosphere was lovely and we both enjoyed it so much. I would totally recommend Fletchers to anyone looking for a meal or afternoon tea .

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here recently for an afternoon tea for two - had an amazing time. Great location - very handy for nearby parking. The restaurant is a wonderful relaxing environment - I could’ve sat there all afternoon if I could’ve got away with it! The staff were lovely, very helpful, brilliant service. Top marks very well deserved! 😊

Great food and friendly service.

Went for brunch, firstly food was heavenly!! I had the Halloumi stack and my partner having the chicken and waffles. Must say he is a very picky eater and everything was prefect and well accommodated. Service was great. Visited a few times and always look out for Pauline as she is so helpful and so bubbly! Overall brilliant 🤩

We had the Sunday lunch. It was just okay, nothing special. The beef was a bit fatty and chewy. Definitely had better for the price. Wouldn't go back for it.

My husband and I always make a point of visiting Fletchers whenever we are in Stirling. We booked a table online which is advisable as it is usually very busy especially on a Saturday night when we visited. Food and service were faultless and we are never disappointed. Keep up the good work we will hopefully return soon!

Our meal was amazing, and our server, Georgia, was fantastic! My friend and I went for brunch and it was delicious. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We will certainly return. This is the first time I have had brunch, I have had lunch and dinner which are also delicious. Will be back soon!!

The food was slightly above average, but the service was excellent.

We were a party of 6 for a 21st lunch. Meal was ok, nothing special. Had to send back luke warm soup. The venison was dry and tough, the gravy congealed as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, service was very slow. The staff were friendly. Disappointing.

We stopped here for the restaurant. It was not busy so were seated without a reservation. Service was very good and friendly. You can park in the lot and they will note your license plate to keep from needing to pay. The menu had a good variety, and kid options were available. Husband got poached eggs and loved them. Chicken burger was pretty good. Would definitely recommend a stop here for lunch!

You choose, you lose (because of the many great options of the menu you inevitably miss out on), but we were very satisfied with the choices we made. I especially recommend the Katsu Chicken Curry. We arrived too early for pur reservation, but they quickly made a table ready for us anyway. Very kind staff, lovely experience, and also a great playlist during dinner 😊

Had fish and chips at the restaurant. Not bad but not the best, fish ok, chips too dry/hard. Service was good. Place could benefit from an update (get red of plastic plants/flowers) and some air conditioning.

Varied menu, good food, a bit slow to the table but overall good

Very nice restaurant and attentive and polite service. The food was tasty, but the prices were slightly above average, but nothing scary and worth it. The only negative comment would be regarding the carpet on the floor, which is not recommended for a place that serves meals. It's worth a visit.

This is a review for the restaurant. We had the chateaubriand for two. While the steak was great, the things that came with it were not up to mark and sort of ruined the good steak. The chips tasted like reconstituted potatoes, and the steak sauces were tasteless, and you had to pay extra for the steak sauces! The 'chive and truffle sauce' tasted just like melted butter diluted with water; the peppercorn sauce wasn't any good either, and very thin. Service was good when they came around, but I had to get out of my seat to look for a server to get me ketchup and mayonnaise so that I could make the chips more palatable. And there was no one around even at the bar. I had to walk around the restaurant to find anyone, and it wasn't even that busy. I was frank and told the waiter the steak was very good but the chips were average and the sauces were bad. Not a bad experience, but not worth what was paid for.

Enjoyed my time here. Restaurant food was great and served was attentive. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic meal served by lovely staff. We arrived as a walk-in on an exceptionally busy Sunday evening. We had to book and come back in an hour, but nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. Your staff are a real credit to you. Thank you.

My sister and I ate here yesterday. We booked in advance which we recommend as it's a busy place and you wouldn't want to be disappointed. We received a warm welcome and felt at home straight away. We stayed one night while attending a concert in Stirling .Situated near the main areas of Stirling and car park on site.Check in was smooth and lovely welcome from the lady on reception.Rooms are nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.Breakfast was well organised and plenty to enjoy .We had a late night drink on return and chatted to the friendly barman Stewart .All staff were lovely and we had a very pleasant stay.

I booked a private room for a family reunion. There were 18 of us. The room was just the right size and nicely prepared. We didn't have to choose our food in advance which was helpful. There was a three course menu, reasonably priced and all the food was excellent. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Service in the room and at the bar was friendly and efficient. We had a great time and would recommend Fletchers.

Visited as part of a group of 7 today. It was a busy lunch and we were welcomed into a lovely table. Attentively served our drinks and order taken when we were ready. Our party had a mix of pastas, ciabattas, sides and burgers. All served hot and enjoyed by everyone. The chicken pasta I had was full of flavour and piping hot. I was so full that I had to turn down a dessert but enjoyed a prosecco instead. All the staff were really lovely, as always. Usually been for breakfast but this was a nice change. Great to see a restaurant busy in Stirling. Prices are great for being right in the city. Highly recommend and look forward to returning with family next🤩 forgot a photo or two as we were enjoying our day so much.

We are just back from an overnight stay at Fletcher's. We were there with friends - three couples meeting up from different areas within Scotland. It was excellent - we couldn't fault it in any way. We ate in the hotel -- lovely food, relaxed atmosphere, not at all rushed and great service. Just the right balance between friendly, chatty but not over bearing. It was the same again at breakfast. We were served by the wife of one of the brothers who own the hotel (sorry we didn't get your name) Our rooms were good too - they are spacious with a reasonable sized bathroom and well equipped. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights B&B. Could not fault anything. The rooms were spotless with a large comfortable bed. Had dinner on first night. Food and service at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Stayed one night in the hotel and had our evening meal there. The restaurant was relaxing and the staff were so friendly. My husband had the katsu curry which he said was lovely. I asked the the Sunday roast and it was so tender. Our breakfast did not disappoint. Well cooked and tasty.

Lovely overnight stay at Fletchers and dinner with my lovely wife. The rooms were lovely and clean and well presented. We received a glass of fizz on arrival and some chocolates. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and the service was great and very prompt. The balmoral chicken was delicious and my wife enjoyed the BBQ chicken burger. The candy floss martini and Drumstick cocktails are definitely worth a try. I would definitely stay here again.

Very small portions for the price was very disappointed didn’t expect that for breakfast just a bunch of tomatoes and pepper am sorry personally wasn’t happy and don’t think I would go again

Great overnight stay at excellent value. Perfect double room, nice breakfast and in an ideal location close to city centre and main roads with free car parking. Superb boutique hotel and restaurant also looks lovely for meals and drinks.
