One staff member showed unnecessarily rude behaviour rushing me out with my dog. Completely over the top response let us down in what is otherwise a delightful wee cafe.

Welcoming atmosphere, and brightly lit from the above glass ceiling. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great selection if you're in for a bite to eat. Excellent coffee! Keep it up!

This is a rather nice cafe/bar in the courtyard of the Stables at Mugdock country party. Nice coffee and drinks, but have not eaten here. This is one of two cafes in the courtyard. They are both quite different in style and menu but are equally good and welcome places to stop for refreshments any time of the year.

Regularly walk to Mugdock from Milngavie, and knowing that a great flat white can be had in here, even at 9am in the morning, makes the walk bearable. Large range of sandwiches, cakes and cold drinks too.

Great freshly made coffee & lattes before walking through the beautiful forest of Mugdock. Country Park. Friendly, accommodating staff. A little caffeine always helps you appreciate the beautiful scenery even more.

I wish Trip Advisor would allow you to comment on other people's reviews and their responses. This is NOT expensive and the food is of good quality and always adequately filled. People find it easy to moan behind a keyboard but not in person which is disappointing. Have always had great food and service here and, if anything, it is underpriced. Lovely, friendly community feel. Great choice. Best of luck to this fab business.

Had lunch here last week on our visit to Mugdock Park. The layout tries to be sympathetic to the original building which we really liked. I thought the people that ran the place were brilliant. The food and coffees were good and reasonably priced. The kids really loved their nachos (plenty of them along with cheese and salsa), I really enjoyed my pannini as well. The warm welcoming atmosphere and the positive happy to help attitude of the staff made it a great lunch. Top makes.

By far the best coffee in Milngavie and Bearsden... not much else needs to be said really... but if you go in the morning you can also get a bacon and black pudding roll... cant do better than that!

A group of us dropped in for late lunch after a cold winter walk in Mugdock Park. The paninis and wraps were tasty but, the fillings were a we bit sloppy, the cake was good and the coffee was great.

On boxing day the kids were feeling little cabin fever so we decided to head to Mugdock country park. Seemed everyone else had this idea. We decided to get in out of the cold and enjoy a treat. It was very busy but they were dealing with it very well considering it had been Christmas the day before. We met some neighbours with their child and we all sat and enjoyed lovely hot chocolate and some bakes. Was just perfect for festive period. Would love to try again in the future. I loved that it's named after the elephant that used to live at Mugdock zoo. Lovely piece of history for the kids to enjoy. Thank you for a lovely day.

On finishing our walk, we popped in here for a coffee and to warm through. However, the smell of the food was too tempting, we ended up ordering a toasted panini. I chose the beef, soft cheese and onion chutney, my husband the pepperoni one. Both were delicious and accompanied with Deli crisps. The only let down was that we were not given the choice of crisps and were given salt and vinegar which I gave to my husband. No complaint from him, but just as feedback it might be nice be asked (or just give ready salted to all customers).

Mugdock has three places to eat and drink... this is by far the best coffee in the park, either sit in or carryout whilst you are walking.

Been a few times and the staff have always been friendly. Quirky bits to sit in make it a bit different. Good coffee and cake.

This is a great place within the Mugdock park visitor centre. Open and busy even on bank holidays. Great selection of hot drinks. I stopped for a hot chocolate post wintry walk. Perfect for this. I have looked into returning for their evening cinema clubs and think it would be a great venue - it has a licenced bar too.

For some time 3 of us have stopped off at Charlie's on a Sunday while out cycling. I must say the coffee and on the odd occasions the bagels, scones or croissants are absolutely delicious. The staff are delightful and nothing is a bother. The little tucked away gem is worth a visit.

Went for lunch and the menu has a good selection of sandwiches and soup usual cakes coffee etc...Well priced and didn't need to wait too long for our food being brought to us....Soup was tasty and served with bread. Can sometimes be busy if weather is good but was okay today.Only negative feedback would be the floor is carpet and it was bad with food debris which is bit off putting...Girl was really friendly and making sure we were well catered for which was great!!

Charlie's is a nice layout - lovely decoration. Coffee was nice and there is a great choice of cakes. Good service. Lovely comfy seats and couches. Can't judge it on lunch as have only had coffees and cake etc there. They certainly do nice looking filled baguette / sandwich things. There are a few other choices at Mugdock but we like Charlie's if we want a slightly more upmarket coffee etc. It would be nice to hire for a party as well. Its also the only option really if its raining and you have the dog with you as they can be tied outside for a short while.

Lorna and I stopped in here for a quick soup and sandwich lunch. They had broccoli and Stilton which was very tasty and we split a chicken salad baguette, also freshly made a good quality. The cafe is in a pretty little courtyard next to the visitor centre from where you can start a number of short country park walks. It is also home to a quirky little theatre. There should be more places of this quality.

Great, family run hotel. Ideally situated - 5 minutes from shops, bars etc. Also handy for bus and train station. We stayed overnight, car park to rear is free to clients, just need to register at reception. Our room was spacious and bright, had everything we needed. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Great to see this traditional village pub come back to life. Quiz in the bar last night which looked like great fun, often has live music, lovely food at really reasonable prices. Will be going back again.

A lovely wee coffee shop and Bistro at Blairmains Farm. The menu has a range of sandwiches, toasties and bagels as well as soup and wide range of cakes there is also a large meal menu with mince and tatties, fish and chips and the chef special Sri Lanlan Lamb Curry which I can recommend. I had a Banoffee Pie for my pudding and it was lovely but I have to say there were several others that looked really nice. Would recommend a visit. Staff really helpful, plenty of on site parking and lovely views of surrounding countryside and Ochil.Hills.
