Would not recommend this particular Pret..the stuff are just busy trying to achieve targets and have forgotten they are working in a service industry. Pathetic service. They served me 2 Mocha’s as a take away along with other snacks I ordered. We left the shop and we sipped it, it literally tasted like hot water with a drop of milk. I took the coffees back to Pret and said I don’t want an argument, I just want to give these back as they don’t taste like coffee. They literally just turned around and said oh sorry and didn’t even offer a refund or a replacement. I didn’t have it in me to argue with them and just walked out of Pret. Having literally wasting £8.10. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle, poor quality and extremely poor customer service. Never going back to Pret in Westfield Shepherds Bush London.

I have visited this cafe on many occasions and it's always been busy, on this visit it was virtually empty despite being 11 o'clock. After watching the coffee being made I potentially could see why,and I wouldn't rush back. They made 2 coffees out of I gadget they use to put coffee into. So no wonder it tasted so weak. 🤔 and the cake was dry. Disappointed customers

Regularly pop in for a cup of tea or coffee and have had meals there as well. Great portions of home made dishes. Steak pie is one of the best ever tasted.

The young lady that served me was nice and polite but the floor, tables and chair legs were filthy. Dust on windows ledges next to were people have to eat. Bin overflowing with rubbish. Milk dispenser had milk all down the front. It needs someone to clean the area on a regular basis. There was some staff not doing much at all so they could have done this instead of standing around. Wouldn't go back here again

Stopped for a quick lunch on way home from holiday. Ordered salad because menu said it included radish, which I am particularly keen on. Mentioned to waitress (counter service has ceased, presumably because of Covid!) that I wanted radish. However, there was no radish in the salad. The waitress did not come back to the table after serving the meal to ask if everythin was all right so after finishing the meal I went up to the food preparation area to ask whether they actually had radish. Yes, they did have radish! So why does this restaurant (in common with other restaurants so I have found) feel it acceptable to leave out ingredients specified on the menu). Is it laziness or what?

It’s a cafe not a restaurant, and how can you moan about the chiller in winter when you were there in March. Sound to me like you are one of those people who complain whatever the case maybe, I find the staff very friendly and for a quick bite to eat it’s excellent

Expected speedy service due to how quiet it was but my posh beans on toast took 25 minutes to arrive and the poached egg was rock solid, it would have been a much better idea walking 10 minutes into the town centre and eating somewhere with a good cook

Well presented cake shop, with nice indoor & outdoor tables. Not sure about low stars reviews, we certainly had a good service!

Absolutely awful. I’m lactose intolerant, they were unable to provide anything other than small individual portions of soya milk. No dairy free/vegan products, very surprising in this day and age! I don’t expect to be provided with much but was hoping for a warm milky drink, latte or hot chocolate or even a cup soup. I bought a hoodie from the shop and was given a dirty look from the shop assistant. Really bad attitude from most of the staff. I have been to similar types of places elsewhere and this is by far the worst example of it’s sort. Captive audience yes but not helping promote Welsh tourism!

Just as bad - if not worse - than the other one. In general not a reccomended place or a very good experience at all

Well what can I say?!! There's no one on site. No hot food. WiFi, security, shop here. Yes there's a toilet but I didn't want to damage my mental health with the pptential horror of what I would find...it was after all a shared male and female toilet and shower. They have the audacity to still charge for parking when you get none of the facilities they advertise! Safe to say I wont fo back there

TERRIBLE.

For starters, this is not labeled properly on Tripadvisor. It's the Miller's Kitchen, at the Kersey Mill, which is a cafe restaurant, outside of Hadleigh. Not Stone street IN Hadleigh. This should be fixed but I don't know how. I checked the pics, and sure enough there's a mistake here. So I'm talking about the Mill outside of town. The food... not great. We stopped by for first time yesterday for lunch, had a sandwich which I thought was nasty. WAY too much salty mustard. My husbands sandwich was dry and uninteresting. Had to ask for cutlery to be brought. We asked for tap water, which was brought to us in individual tiny glasses which was not enough considering the salt in the sandwich. Why couldn't they go a second mile and bring a jug of water out like most restaurants? What about an ice-cube? We had to wait and pay at the counter first, and I noticed a box of ice-cubes on the counter. Was I supposed to go and get them? I'm not terribly fussy as a person, but I thought considering the £11.90 price tag for a sandwich and a bit of mixed lettuce from a salad bag and a (very few) crips, this was extortionate for what it was. £8 would have been plenty to pay for it. I did NOT enjoy the lunch, neither did my husband, and would never go again, nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. It's a pity because they have a fabulous out of town location with plenty of parking, which was what recommended the place to me to start with. A message to the proprietors....you will probably stay in business because droves of people come to the Mill for OTHER reasons, and because you are the only one selling a sit down space and something to eat. You have a captive audience. But if you want to charge those prices (£11.70 cheapest on menu) and attract people who come just for a day out to the area, then you do really need to up your quality and service.
