I hate giving poor reviews but despite receiving a refund the way the fish fingers were supplied as dry, tough and over baked not only mine but my partner’s as well left us both very disappointed as we were expecting a nice meal after a pleasant walk. Apologies were received but a simple cook for fish fingers appears beyond the abilities of the “cook”. Mind you the roll was ok. We expect better on our next trip.

Plenty of room but the cooked food available is limited ..Ideal for a quick coffee with a cake or pasty

The Carriage House Cafe at Attingham is up to the usual good standard of National Trust cafes. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food and drinks are freshly prepared and taste good. My wife is Gluten Free and, unusually, here there were Gluten Free sandwiches avaialble. There's seating both inside and outside. On a busy day, though, there may be the chance that some snacks may be become rationed. On the day we were there (and there were a lot of people visiting Attingham), sausage rolls and jacket potatoes were sold out.

Had breakfast yesterday morning, food cold, scrambled eggs had been microwaved, mushrooms where disgusting, the price £7.00, definitely not worth going back again. 1 x male staff member running around like a headless chicken, he didn't know which way to turn.

Been for lunch today and ordered the soup carrot and butternut squash which was OK, I asked for a brown roll but instead I got boring sliced brown so i asked for a roll and was told they didn't have any but could get me seedy one, that came straight from the freezer I think and was the so dry it would of made good bread crumbs .not worth £7.45 for the tiny bowl of soup 😡

What a find we were staying at Ludlow Touring site and booked Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf . The pub was really welcoming warm and comfortable. We were two couples who went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we had had at a pub and really good value . The beef and lamb were really tender and there was a good selection of vegetables all cooked perfectly. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for making our first visit a success
