Popped in for a wine and beer and to watch the rugby before dinner. I’ve never been made to feel so uncomfortable walking in to a pub. The tv didn’t work so was turned off. It was a quick drink and off. Definitely won’t be popping in there to spend £12 off my money with such unfriendly staff

We visited for cocktails before dining out in Henley. Let’s just say what a disappointment our drinks were. The cocktails were awful and if you market yourself on offering the best cocktails in Henley please train your staff on how to make them properly or don’t offer them at all…. My whiskey sour was disgusting and our friend’s cocktails looked and tasted like brightly coloured sugary water…. One of the cocktails we’d asked for contained apple juice but we were informed by the staff that they could not make it as they didn’t have any apple juice. How can a pub run out of apple juice? We won’t be returning…

We have never felt so ripped off in all of our lives. Ridiculously high priced drinks served by a bored woman who really should learn how to communicate properly and maybe smile once in a while. Two of our four glasses were dirty and one of the others had lip stick stains at the rim. It made my partner feel ill. It’s so dark in there maybe for good reason. My advice is go elsewhere in Henley for better service, better choice, some food (this place has nothing on a Sunday afternoon) and drinks prices that don’t think they are in a London nightclub. Lastly there was a bad smell in there of damp dog. Unpleasant and unnecessary. YUK.

Very small, low ceiling of old beams, period furniture, great beer, super friendly staff. During the Regatta, Henley is a zoo, and the Old Bell is a refuge

WE had our Grandkids with us for the day and went to Henley.Called into Costa in the afternoon (1/6/24) before heading home, for coffee, tea and cakes but it was shambolic.....the staff were either unattentive or didn't understand english,or were inept at their jobs. Many people hanging around for drinks they'd ordered which hadn't materialised,us included and staff being constantly reminded by customers of what they were waiting for!....won't be going back!

Beautiful building in need of some loving care. Two water wheels and very small outside area. Very restricted menu for lunch and beers/lagers only in bottles. Service only average. Quiet little atmosphere. Disappointed.

Great location, lovely staff, but the coffee is only and frankly miles behind Cafe Nero.

I can be quite fussy and love good restaurant and I have to say this cafe is top notch. Been here a few times. The food is alway good, it’s clean and the staff are excellent. Such a great place.
