I visited with my wife to get a sandwich for our lunch and decided to use the toilet, upon opening the door to the toilet I was greeted by excrement spread on the seat and basin and urine all over the floor. I reported this to the person who was on the floor and he stated that he knew the situation and would get to it when he was ready. Upon hearing this I went and told my wife and left , we could not eat there seeing this.

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Greggs outlet on Queens Square Bus Station and I must say it was good. Housed in a very cool looking building ,interior is light and airy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and there's seating options. We got some pizza slices ,served steaming hot, we grabbed a table were we munched through our pizza slices which were totally delicious and just what we needed to set us up for a few hours. We really enjoyed our pizza slices in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this Greggs outlet we were totally impressed. Greggs is easy to locate on Queens Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 6am till 8.30pm. Sunday, 8am till 6pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the mood for a quick pastry.

This Greggs wasn't busy at all when we visited but was filthy. Tables not cleared, rubbish overflowing and the toilet was diabolical with wet floor and seat. The staff seemed very lackadaisical.

Very good staff and service especially the apple pie but my friend is gluten free but no bread so no sandwiches for her and not one cake unlike what they had in Chester who had 3 different ones .

I'm generally a fan of costa coffee - the tiffin is usually great, the coffee is fine. However, on this occasion it just didn't work. Quite a limited choice of food on offer, and one of the least friendly customer teams I've come across. The toasted sandwich also tasted a bit stale frankly. There was also no decaf coffee on offer. The tiffin was lovely however. Not sure I'll visit this branch again soon - better off going to other places around the corner.

Nice in here, went when it was early for a colleague's leaving drink, shot some pool, drinks were good and priced well.

Popped in for a takeaway order sandwich and was not disappointed by the variety of choices available. Reaching later int he day there were still plenty of sandwich options to choose from including hot and cold options. Great little place really enjoyed the food!

I'm a 21-year-old guy from Denmark who was visiting Liverpool solo on a day Everton played a Premier League away match, and wanted to watch the game among local Evertonians. Perhaps looking like an alien in my yellow Danish club's shirt, I cautiously entered The Brick and, after introducing myself, was immedeatly taken in by a few guys. For the majority of the afternoon we talked and talked, they bought me beer on their own initiative, and I had the most wonderful time in The Brick. Even though Everton lost the game, everyone I talked to was always friendly, including the owner of The Brick, and I always felt welcome despite not being an Everton fan; everyone was an exemplary representative of Everton F.C. All in all, I was left with what I felt like was an authentic cultural exchange and English match-day experience, and I'd highly recommend the pub to anyone in the area.
