dont know why I have 2 pieces of fried bread from 2 different slices, doesn't even make a full slice when put together, smallest sausages I've ever seen , bacon like rubber along with scrambled eggs and a hash brown like mush, black pudding like a crisp

Not happy at all why is my order always wrong & items missing not fair at all I’ve filed a refund and I won’t be ordering wait just eat again thanks bye !

Tasty all. The fish & chips and garden peas. Fast service. Well presented. Very clean, tidy and modern facilities. Friendly staff. Normal price. Enjoyed stopping by.

The fish, chips and mushy peas were ok. We paid for a sauce sachet but it was missing. Grilled cheese toastie was missing-refund given by Just Eat. Unfortunately the loaded cross cut fries had no cheese or barbeque sauce on them as mentioned on the menu.

Waited for half an order. Just had surgery and can't cook. Store was very unhelpful. Just got cheesecake and coleslaw...none of the meals ordered. Drivers can't be bothered to check what they pick up and store wouldn't help. Have to order other food from somewhere else and hope they give me a refund for this.

Sadly this cafe has been run down by Morrisons it would seem for the last 6 months. Coffee machines always brocken or gives a brown sludge. Not enough staff as they try their best but overwhelmed, no napkins for weeks just rolls of kitchen roll. Would this happen in Sandbach or similar....no but Speke seems bottom of heap and not worth the effort. The management should be made to stand outside and apologize to the people of Speke and their staff.

One of the worst cafes I've ever been to. Half of the ingredients on the ultimate breakfast were inedible. Fried bread was rock hard, as was the black pudding. The pot of beans had actually dried out. They sausage had a piece of bone in that i had to spit out. The bacon came in little mashed up pieces that they tried to hide underneath other items. I asked for the bacon to be changed, which they did. They gave me two new slices of bacon that stunk. It literally smelled disgusting. Told the server to smell it and she agreed and gave me my money back. Offered to get me something else off the menu for free as well as a refund, but no way i was eating anything else from there. Even for free. Also had to stand around for 10 minutes waiting for a clean cup and a knife. Absolutely terrible experience. Will never go back there again. Oh and had to clear and clean my own table on arrival, as all the empty tables were covered with dirty plates and cutlery still. Maybe they need more staff working in there. I know it's cheap food, but that was absolutely disgusting from start to finish. Shame on you Morrisons.

Missing a paid for extra and had scrambled egg instead of poached. Scribbled on the receipt that they had no poached eggs. Its a cafe, make one maybe?

Put pork on veggie loaded fries, rude when sent back, not going back

Very disappointed long wait ,wrong order not enough staff,when asked about my order was told this order had gone out no point in order numbers on the tables

Well what can I say after afew teething problems I got my order, I have to say it was it was gorgeous cooked to perfection thankyou

Absolutely disgusting despite trying to order for 2 weeks, to finally them saying it will be delivered to wait over a hour after expected delivery to mark it as being delivered when it was not Absolutely should not be on the app shocking will be taking it further

Really good food, well better than you expect from a supermarket cafe. Good range of menu choices. Warm, friendly and professional staff. At-table ordering on your phone via QR code: good when it works, not working at the moment. Hot drinks are self-serve, meals delivered to table.

Ordered 3.80sausage and egg on toast. Told female member of staff toast. egg is 85p extra collected my meal. Opened box and there was a dry barm cake no butter not toasted egg was rock hard hanging out barm full of grease put it back in box and straight in bin.

Order full breakfast and poached eggs with avocado, arrive very quickly but unfortunately the full breakfast was cold and tasteless, as for the avocado and poached egg, it actually tasted sour and poached eggs hard, supposed to be on sour dough toast but was just normal toast and presentation looked like a child had plated it up. The cafe itself was lovely and clean

Looks like the attempt to claw back some lockdown cash has begun in earnest The 'Big' Breakfast now costs £2 more than before, but contains about half of what it used to I won't be using it again

Food is ok nothing remarkable but ok for the price

Considering this is a Supermarket Cafe the food is good quality and great prices! Above all, Staff are keen to please, always patient and kind with the kids whilst still smiling 🙂 At times we’ve preferred this Cafe rather than other local food outlets... Covid measures are well managed with suitable screens and extra cleaning in place... Well done Morrison’s!

Had breakfast in cafe now set up with virus protections. Member of staff on till was very helpful and smiling. Breakfast was great and same lady served it to our table. Really enjoyed our visit.

We called here for a bite to eat on our way from Blackpool to Liverpool airport. Despite them being short staffed and the fizzy drink machine being out of order, the assistant went out of her way to serve us. My son had lovely ham sandwiches, i had the baked potato and my husband had a toasted sandwich with salad. All were tasty, freshly prepared and hot. We then had dessert which was very generous portions of apple crumble and bread & butter pudding. Very satisfied.

I have been having the same meal for years. Used to take my Mum there too..our little treat. I went last week...beautiful white fish, crispy chips and good mushy peas. Fab cafe.

Had our breakfast before shopping in the store, I made the mistake or ordering the Big Daddy, it was massive couldn’t finish it. Sensibly the BOSS had the small breakfast, food was tasty just too much of it. Washed it down with a pot of tea each. Service was quick and friendly.

Nice place for a quick coffee. The staff are also friendly. Recently refurbished too 👍

The mini fish and chips with peas is quite enjoyable for lunch. Good choice menu. Staff can be a bit slow at serving at times especially Julia she likes to natter quite a bit so always a queue. Too many optional extras offered at till. You don't also need to be told by staff too. Quite often kitchen roll instead of serviettes as they run out. Some staff very helpful too.

Great place for a meal or just a coffee. You can eat alone or with friends and/or family. It is not expensive either.

Eating here was ruined by the fact that tables were covered in dirty crockery. Customers choose a table and if it's covered with used crockery, they simply pile it onto another table. Trays too are placed onto another table. What is wrong with every customer returning a tray with used crockery to the rack provided? When we visited, the staff were attempting to clear away dishes after what was probably a busy lunch period. We ordered fish but there hadn't been any for two days and what we did get (scampi and chicken) was not that bad and value for money but doubt we would eat there again before boarding a flight at Liverpool Airport.

As the prices have gone up the quality has seemed to have gone down. Over the years. Part of the problem could well be there being less staff there especially at busy times. I would also like to add that because there is less staff, they appear to have a smaller menu, I think the staff do a wonderful job under a great deal of pressure.

Found 7 hairs in my food, horrible.

Had a light lunch before shopping in the store. We had a sandwich selection each , a plate of chips and a pot of tea each. It was very nice, sarnies were tasty, we also shared a scone with cream and jam. Good cafe, comfy seats and friendly staff. Good value.

Cafe recently refurbished looks so much more inviting unfortunately the food is pretty basic. They do offer free meals for kids with one full paying adult which is a great idea and a great help for families with a few kids.

If a picture paints a thousand words, here's Morrison's masterpiece. I do wonder what happened to the rest of it. Are they made in store? Who in their right mind would cut this, look at it and think "this is an adequate sandwich"? Still, my food was very tasty and the coffee is very good. The menu is much improved and the place is well designed with hard working staff. Just sort out your prawn sandwiches.

Travelled to Liverpool from Scunthorpe yesterday 9/12/17. Called at Morrisons for a quick break, before dropping my sister off at the airport. As we entered the store, my mum who is in her 70's fell. The staff and shoppers in the store were remarkable, helping my sister and me to get my mum up. The staff there looked after us and in particular my mum, they couldn't do enough. They took us to the cafe where they served us with free drinks. Nothing was too much trouble. We just wanted to say a big thank you to all concerned that day for your care and concern. It was very much appreciated

Estoy realmente impresionado por la nueva apariencia de Morrisons en Speke. Se ve muy bien después de la remodelación y el menú es impresionante. Tuve el pastel de pollo y jamón y fue realmente bueno. Absolutamente estallando con trozos de carne. Mi esposa tenía Hunter's Chicken y también me gustó. ¡Un gran café con tazas que se obtienen de un estante calefactado! Bien hecho Morrison's.

This is by far one of the best store cafes going. The food is really nice and the staff so friendly. I'd recommend the fish and chips with garden peas, the bacon on toast, the big breakfast, the scampi and the sausage with mash.

Hi Food quite nice but a bit greasy make sure you use a napkin to soak up all the grease service was good and make a nice cuppa

I've been here just before shopping or even in the middle of the day if I'm on leave and just want a nice bite to eat for myself. Always see families and couples here too as the menu is varied, fresh and well priced.

I stopped for a quick breakfast before shopping, it’s a spacious café that was clean and has a good system for ordering. There are plenty of set breakfast options but you can create your own too, price very reasonable and importantly I didn’t wait too long for food.

Went for breakfast as a family delicious highly recommend.friendly staff quick service . Nothing was to much trouble for the staff clean tables. .

Not really looking for anything special just a quick snack whilst shopping so decided to try the Morrison's Cafe in Speke. Liverpool.
