Dear all, Might be long here and it will worth your time. I’m please you are reading my review which is needed to know before you make your decision to visit. I am saying everything in my honest directly from my heart to Hidden. Over months I have driven passing this site in my Lorry and seeing something fancy inside I wonder what would it be. My mind keeps telling myself that I MUST visit as soon as possible. Yesterday I put my money where my mouth is, eventually, I went to Hidden Cafe after touring in Coal Mine Museum nearby as a solo person like a Lone Wolf. In that night of being as customer. Environment inside is so beautiful making my mind going to Shangri La. Whether it is an cafe or an mini restaurant or an bar or all of them! Doesn’t really matter because this urban place is an low key place in all set reasons of visiting. Even pop in for a ten minute drink with your friend. I had an well cooked golden pizza with three buns of garlic bread and an posh red wine in addition to my meal. An ace to the young marvellous chef called Milly. Both of the waitress are lovely and welcoming. Sharing stories and our conversations went up to joy and equally. Just like playing tennis. We speak a few lines and wait for the reply or respond instead of holding the ball for too long. We talked all sort of topics. Music, career, families, prologue, hobbies, future and more. Taking yard by yard. Life goes on. Another to mention, their music in the background is smooth, correct volume and matching to the room of relaxing. Somebody could say, ‘To the stars’. I didn’t think I would be able to get on board with healthy food but Just Finished my first batch of meals and I thoroughly enjoyed them all.Kind and helpful staff made ordering a breeze, Thanks a bunch

Small, but very pleasant venue. Delightful staff. Perfectly situated on corner of town centre. Always enjoy tea and scones with friends!

This is now a pizza place! The Eastern Europeans have moved out... I had a quick beer and a take away to take on to the train. Service was quick, the beer was fresh and the food excellent.

Wow what can I say. Absolutely fantastic for their shakes,cakes and waffles are out of this world. Huge selection of shakes

My friend called in to Faye's Sandwich Bar, I waited in car. He bought a sandwich for himself and bought me large spam, egg & beans buttie. I like to look at what I am about to eat, so I folded back the top slice of bread and their I saw a horrible looking hair on top of the fried egg. It put me off so I threw it to the ducks on the river air. My friend informed me that the male who was preparing the food did not have a hair net on. I would never eat from this establishment or have any food bought for me from here again. Grubby

Booked for Sunday lunch nice setting , food was so nice , portions were great plenty of meat , staff were amazing ,love this place

I'm here for the first time, but everything here is very good. The food is excellent, the service is good and the atmosphere is also great.
