Just noticed this place after being dropped off at the station, and as soon as I’d had my first sip, I concluded what’s in the title!! Pastries are top quality too!! Nicely done, and thanks for the great start this morning!!!

Excellent coffee shop. We enjoyed bacon sandwich & chocolate brownie between us. My 3 year old Granddaughter loves the Babycino in a sweet little cup and saucer with a little biscuit on the side and chocolate on top!

Best waffle I’ve ever had. Value for money. Milkshakes were very tasty too. Service was excellent and the music was good, some great songs and at an appropriate volume. Highly recommend coming here and I will be back

Called in this café again as we had been before, and i am pleased to say that both standards and service have not declined i had the big breakfast the wife had the meatball pasta and a sausage for the dog . Would highly recommend this café to anyone for both food and value

A very Big Thank You to The Flamingo's Teapot for providing the most delicious Afternoon Tea to me and my 21 guests to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The food was sensational, very fresh and tasty. Hannah goes above and beyond in the preparations with all the hard work behind the scenes. When all my guests commented on how lovely it was there needs to be no better recommendation! She catered for different allergies too. The cafe is so homely and welcoming with its pink decorations. The home-made cakes are to die for and there's always something new to try. Thank you again to ALL staff you were amazing 👏

We visit this cafe every Thursday since our first visit many months ago. The coffee is second to none and it has remained at this standard every week. The baking is to die for , a scone is a must for the coffee. Every one very friendly and you are not over charged. I would recommend this to anyone.

I am not a vaper but I love this place! The range of freshly ground and filtered coffee beans is absolutely amazing! And Les and Ann (owner and his Mum) are lovely people, as is their assistant, Liam. Les is self-taught about coffee beans and tobacco juicing. He makes some of his own juices for vaping and has an extensive range. We love to bob in for a coffee, complimentary Lotus biscuits and a good chinwag on their 3 person sofas. I wish they would put a little cafe seating where the coffee is ground besides the seating in the vaping lounge.

I am saying everything in my honest directly from my heart to Hidden. Over months I have driven passing this site in my Lorry and seeing something fancy inside I wonder what would it be. My mind keeps telling myself that I MUST visit as soon as possible. Yesterday I put my money where my mouth is, eventually, I went to Hidden Cafe after touring in Coal Mine Museum nearby as a solo person like a Lone Wolf. In that night of being as customer. Environment inside is so beautiful making my mind going to Shangri La. Whether it is an cafe or an mini restaurant or an bar or all of them! Doesn’t really matter because this urban place is an low key place in all set reasons of visiting. Even pop in for a ten minute drink with your friend. I had an well cooked golden pizza with three buns of garlic bread and an posh red wine in addition to my meal. An ace to the young marvellous chef called Milly. Both of the waitress are lovely and welcoming. Sharing stories and our conversations went up to joy and equally. Just like playing tennis. We speak a few lines and wait for the reply or respond instead of holding the ball for too long. We talked all sort of topics. Music, career, families, prologue, hobbies, future and more. Taking yard by yard. Life goes on. Another to mention, their music in the background is smooth, correct volume and matching to the room of relaxing. Somebody could say, ‘To the stars’. Called for lunch with a friend. Lovely atmosphere and decor Fairly basic menu but after speaking to James they aim to have minimal waste so more will be added to menu as more customers visit. Staff very attentive and helpful without being intrusive and food tasty and served with minimal waiting time. Highly recommend a visit to either sit in the outside terrace in the sun or inside in the beautifully decorated interior in what look like very comfy seating

Small, but very pleasant venue. Delightful staff. Perfectly situated on corner of town centre. Always enjoy tea and scones with friends!
