A hidden gem in Horbury. Such a shame it's hidden out of site up.a side street. Beautiful food and coffee with lovely friendly staff. Try their bacon sandwich on proper uncut bread with ash brown chips it's the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The current teacakes are massive and so good. Thank you and see you soon.

Everything was amazing including decorations and food the staff were really nice and friendly. The cakes were amazing and really big. If you are not able to finish the staff supply boxes to take food home in so the goodness never ends. (H age 12)

Had a lovely visit here last week following recommendations from my partner who visited last year with his mum for a birthday afternoon tea. We both got a latte and piece of cake and for a rare once, we should’ve got one cake to share as the portion size was very generous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my partner leave any cake at other coffeeshops! The cakes were very delicious and exceptional value - it came to around £14 for two flavoured lattes and two cakes of a very generous size. The staff were very welcoming and friending. The only thing to consider is the possibility of not getting seated if you arrive without a booking. There’s very limited indoor seating as it’s a small coffeeshop and I can imagine Saturdays, in particular, get quite busy.

Visited with the children during half term. The staff were really friendly and happy to accommodate for the little ones as no kids menu the normal menu can just be made into smaller portions. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to return for afternoon tea! x

A quaint little cafe run by amazing ladies with an array of mouthwatering homemade foods. Had the afternoon tea. Was not disappointed. It was a feast!!! The fact that my coffee cup was large & never empty was a bonus. The addition of fruits, marshmallows, flying saucers & a wonderful little salad added to the afternoon tea experience. Well worth a visit & we'll worth the value. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful first experience. Now I know where you are I will be back.

Afternoon Tea birthday treat ! …. Well worth the visit from leeds …incredible homemade food and even better staff . Cannot recommend enough ..nothing too much trouble and doggie box at the end .. you will certainly need it ! Fabulous value !

Brought an Halloween lunch for my grandchildren rowan and naomi as a treat from me there mum and dad took them as I live in abingdon they had a wonderful time thank to hannah and the staff 12 /10 thank you for making them so happy food was excellent. Feed back from my family

Needed a lunch venue to meet up with kids and grandkids near Horbury. Messaged on Facebook to book a table and got a prompt reply. Also asked if gluten free food available and it was. Arrived on a very drizzly day and it was fun and quirky inside. Seated quickly and grandkids offered toys, games and colouring books. Had a lovely cheese and branston toastie with a very good side salad & crisps. Others had jacket potatoes with tuna, mayo and coleslaw. Possibly the largest spuds I’ve ever seen! They were devoured. Really good quality food at a very reasonable price. Nicely presented. Pots of tea with cute cups and saucers. Completely overdid it with a chocolate crunchie cake. Delicious. The lovely staff had got a gluten free lemon slice ready just in case, which was eaten up. Very thoughtful. We weren’t rushed at all. If we lived closer (we live in Spain!) we’d visit it often.

All I can say is Wow what a find, after looking for somewhere local to take my granddaughter for afternoon tea I decided to try here and I’m so glad I did, from the minute you walk in you’re made to feel welcome, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing, I have told all my friends and family and we can’t wait to go back. Thanks again for a lovely afternoon.

Excellent, homemade and super tasty food. Divine mocha and had to take the cake away as the panini was so filling. Staff are really welcoming and friendly. Have been several times now and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend this little gem.

I visited The Flamingo's Teapot today for the first time since new (-ish) ownership and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a warm welcome, despite the snowy conditions outside and we chose to sit in comfortable armchairs amongst cushions and throws. The variety of home baked cakes and treats on the counter was amazing and so were the numerous teas, coffees and hot chocolates on offer. I enjoyed a pot of tea with a china cup and my partner had a really good cappuccino. The cake was huge so we shared a piece and it tasted incredible. The toilets are spotlessly clean which I feel is always a good indication of a food establishment. We will be recommending and definitely coming again. Thank you!

Just had Halloween afternoon tea. Amazing, such a lot of thought, time and deliciousness put into it. Fantastic great value as we ended up bringing loads home. Fantastic. Lovely staff, fabulous decorations

Booked in at short notice for the Wife’s birthday. Service was excellent, owner is lovely and chatted to us - making us feel very welcome. Kids had waffles and pancakes, as did the wife. I had a full English which was superb. Coffee was lovely. The tearoom is very vibrant with great decor. They have limited seating inside so would book or call in advance, they are very accommodating so I’m sure they will sort you out. However, they do have extensive seating outside in both covered and uncovered areas. It’s super cosy so just pop in and give it a go. This is a local business, providing exceptional food and service - something that you would expect in Leeds city centre. Well done, keep up the great work

My sister and myself came today for the first time. We choose to sit outside in the lovely seating area. We ordered tea and panini and sandwich. Lovely quirky tea cups. Huge portions very fresh and so many dressings for your salad. Which I managed to spill over my bag. The lovely Hannah so sorted me out and I thank you again. We will call again and leave room for all the nice homemade cakes.

Lovely cafe with cute outside yard area which is covered and shelter if it rains. Tea is served in a pot with a lovely china cup and saucer. I had the Ploughman’s lunch which was enormous! Several types of cheese, top quality ham, pickles, salad, apple, grapes and bread. I was offered a just baked home made sausage roll in replacement for the pork pie which was delicious! I was offered a box to take away the left overs which was definitely needed. My friend had the prawn salad which again was enough for two people or as in her case tomorrows work lunch! The cakes looked delicious but we had no room to sample them. Next time we will share a salad to make sure we have room for cake. Overall a great lunch. We will be back!

We loved that there was a cute seating area outside that we could sit with our dog. Both the full English breakfast and porridge were lovely ,they brought treats and water for our dog too.

Always a warm welcome and fabulous food. Recommend afternoon tea or ploughman’s. And look out for their special events

Afternoon Tea, choice of freshly made sandwiches and cakes, enough to feed two really, my Wife had the Ploughmans lunch, again, all fresh food and enough for two, staff helpful and friendly, we eat outside in the new eating area, very pleasant and highly recommended.

Been here a couple of times now. The last time I came I pre-booked afternoon tea and asked for one of them to be vegan. They provided exactly what we asked for, for a great price! Will definitely be returning.
