Great quirky little spot. Our food wasn't rushed it was red hot on arrival, super fresh and service is bang on, highly recommend A+++

Great food, great service, great surroundings. Breakfast is amazing but hime made ild school favourites make it go above and beyond. You have to eat here !

I stopped by on my way to Rotherham for football and ordered the large English Breakfast for £10. Really friendly, chatty owners, lovely retro feel, and fabulous food. The breakfast included bacon, two sausages, two eggs, a hash brown, beans, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes. All served with two slices of toast and a pot of tea which easily made two mugs. Highly recommended and if I am in the area, I will definitely return.

Been to the retro roadhouse for Sunday dinner and breakfast and it’s always been good. They are accommodating of different foetuses requirements/fussy eaters and the food is fresh and it’s so reasonably priced. I have been to many places looking for a decent Sunday dinner but retro roadhouse beat them all. Would 100% recommend this gem - and if you like classic cars then you will enjoy the fleet of them often on show in the car park!

Amazing hidden gem lovely place loved the style of the cafe! the food was amazing very tasty , great owners definitely coming back!

Six of us were booked for the tea, which was set up on the coach in the carpark (carpark is a bit small but there is on street parking). The tea was really big with lots of different bits on it, all were lovely. Price was very fair for the amount of food. Stew and Jane could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much, even the late arrivals did not throw them. How they produce such fab food in such a small kitchen is amazing. When I go next I will be having my faithful friend with me which is good that well behaved dogs are allowed.

We hadn’t been since before lockdown and it was worth the wait. We had homemade Chicken Curry,Rice and Homemade chip’s followed by a huge slice of Pineapple Cheesecake with cream which we shared. Absolutely delicious. I had a Coke Ann had water,massive bill of £16. I d0n’t know how June and Chris do it,they are such a l0vely couple as . well. It was that good we’ve booked for next week.

Wife had been told how good the place was,so we went today. Don,t be fooled by first appearance,s. The couple- who run it were rushed off their feet ,place was that busy,we waited awhile before orders were taken but it was worth it, Everything is made,fresh,and cooked for each order. I had Corned Beef and Potato pie,Wife had Mushro0m and Leek pie,both came with enough chip,s and pea,s got three people. It was delicious, and we will be going again for sure. Parking is limited,so we found a slot on street.

Lovely place retro and my self and mum had chip butty Nd bacon butty. A tea and coffee. Friendly service and good value, a little hard to find as we missed the sign. Mum loved it. Definitely visit again. 👍👍😊😊

Called in Saturday. Quick breakfast. It was very good. Friendly owners, dog friendly too.. Lots of retro stuff to look at whilst your there. Will return well worth trying.

Everything made is gorgeous. Cannot fault anything if I was asked to. Great couple very friendly. Will go again and again.

Heard good things about this quirky little cafe and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely friendly staff, gorgeous food and great fun with the retro 70’s themed decor. Really good value for money too. Will be back to sample the afternoon tea 😋

A gift from my mother in law. First visit and on arrival it's a little underwhelming, however on entering you are transported back to the 70s as it's decor and furnishings recreate the period. Very accomodating, and afternoon tea was fabulous, all home made and again very ,70s, great quality sandwiches with tasty fillings, even cheese and pickle on sticks which raised a smile. Beautiful baking and pastry selection, will be trying again for main menu and hopefully a speciality night.

All the meals in this little jem of a place are fantastic. The cafe itself is just like going back in time. The couple who run it are very friendly and very busy! Everything is home made and cooked fresh. Love it!

Called at this café with a friend as I’d previously been on my own. We both had the breakfast. It was very filling and cooked to perfection. No fat to be seen on the plate. The atmosphere was one of friendliness and the surroundings and decor made me feel very nostalgic. Very reasonably priced. Give it a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place and regularly go to enjoy their delicious breakfasts. They do lots of other home made specials which always look good but my coeliac disease limits what I can have. Lovely couple that run it too.

Had seen this café while out walking. After researching it and reading reviews decided to call in to see if it lived up to it’s 5* rating. Only ordered a toasted fruit teacake and a cup of tea. The tea was just how I like it and the toasted teacake done to perfection. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. The decor and surroundings very nostalgic. I will certainly be going again and trying out different dishes.

I've been wanting to visit here for sometime and we finally managed to get there this weekend.

Went for Sunday breakfast with my wife, beltin food and very quaint and retro. Very welcoming couple, nothing was too much trouble for them.

I've stopped here on a few occasions for lunch now and have never left disappointed. The food reminds me of going round to my Mum's - genuinely honest, tasty home cooked food. Served up in a fantastic atmosphere of retroness. Jane & Stuart look after you from the moment you step inside - nothing seems to much trouble. From there menu containing all the old cafe favorites and the daily specials there's something for everyone's taste .... and the home made desserts are in a class of there own. Come here ready to eat and leave full. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Just love this place and the couple who own it Jane & Stuart who are so friendly and obliging, nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is delicious all cooked fresh and very reasonably priced. We shall return.

Totally love this place it very friendly and a very homely atmosphere. it's all good home cooked food and reminds you of your grandma's cooking .The surrounding are great very retro looks amazing well with a visit .

So pleased we discovered this fabulous cafe this morning. Delicious home cooked food, really friendly owners and the 70s memorabilia was great to see. Suits all ages. My teenage boys loved it just as much as me. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

Another lovely brunch all cooked fresh and so reasonably priced. Stuart & Jane are so friendly and work so hard and deserve to do well.

Went with friends today for breakfast for the first time. Really great place, decor was fun and brought back memories. Food was nice and good value for money and staff were great, will definitely go back again and try the afternoon tea next

What a lovely treat for my birthday. Had some beautiful afternoon teas but this beats them all! Such proper food well made well presented very filling had to take a doggie bag home. I will be back again thank you

Visited the Retro Roadhouse yesterday lunchtime. This place stirs up so many memories, just by walking through the door.... Full on 70's decor, retro music playing in the background and the best home-made chips and puddings I've ever tasted! Well worth a visit for great food and a trip down memory lane.

My son and I recently visited this cafe after being recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. As soon as we walked through the door we were met with a warm and friendly greeting by the owner who made us feel very welcome. We both ordered a small breakfast which when arrived was hot and very tasty and reasonable priced. Loved the 70s decor and memorabilia, would highly recommend a visit here, will definitely be back.

I regularly meet friends for breakfast and it hard finding somewhere that is cool, offers great food and is honest. The Retro Roadhouse offers the lot. Cracking breakfast and great surroundings.

Only opened in April this is a lovely friendly little cafe with all the food cooked to order & good quality food cooked by the owner/chef who is so obliging and served by his wife who is also very friendly & obliging. Well worth a visit & very reasonably priced.
