Nostalgic Kitchen at the horse and jockey in Wakefield

Wow! Found this lovely cafe by chance today. We fastened our bikes up and sat inside the food was delicious and well presented, very reasonable too.

Ordered 3 afternoon teas last minute, absolutely no problem picked up today, well presented in lovely boxes, food lovely and a good choice, value for money ,highly recommend 😀 Thank you

Nice eggs benedicts, can tell the hollandaise is homemade. Nice staff and good prices, but cutlery not readied for food going outside, muffins weren't toasted and no rocket on either of our benedicts which it was meant to come with. Cappuccino nice but no plate with sugars etc which one would expect. Was good though and didn't have to wait long despite being busy. Would definitely go again. Blankets for outdoor seating was a welcome touch

Wish I’d have tried this place sooner! Really welcoming and chilled atmosphere sat in the garden in the back. Probably one of the best bagels I’ve ever had and some great coffee!
