The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Mulgrave Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We visit this wonderful cafe frequently, but would not normally opt for an afternoon tea. As Sarah, the baker, and wonderful catering staff were putting on a Christmas afternoon tea and a Vegan option was offered us, we were tempted to sample it. Wow! It was so very delicious! The room was decorated for Christmas, the tables beautifully laid out with divinely embroidered centre mat (created specially for the event) and a fun Christmassy artefact to take away. Christmas music playing and everyone enjoying their lunch. Why travel to Greenland, Lapland when you can go to Hinderwell Old School Tea Room & Village Hub for a delicious afternoon tea. My only criticism….. they should have charged more as I doubt they made much profit. Incredibly good value for money!

We are staying locally a d wish we had found this pub earlier in the week. A warm welcome a d great food. My husband had chicken pie and i had the sea bass. Good portions, well cooked and piping hot. We had bread and butter pudding and rice pudding afterwards. Again both excellent 👌.

Nos encontramos con esta joya escondida, ya que los restaurantes Whitby estaban tan ocupados con todas las multitudes góticas. Entró en una cálida bienvenida. El pub es pequeño y hermoso. Jugamos un juego de mesa para la corta espera de comida. Nuestra mesa de 4 tenía Chili Con Carne, sandwich de atún Mayo, tocino y envoltura de halloumi y pollo tierno. La comida era deliciosa y tan razonable precio! Buena elección de bebidas alcohólicas y no alcohólicas. Comida recién cocinada, fabuloso servicio al cliente y hermosas vistas. Volveremos. Gracias por una visita tan agradable.

We stayed here for a wedding and wished we were there longer. The location is a great base for the Moors and the room was immaculate. We were one of the top floor rooms and it was spacious, clean and warm. The only thing it was missing was somewhere to hang your clothes properly (e.g a rail rather than coat hooks). Will definitely visit again for a longer stay. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was superb.

Have been popping in to this 'proper' pub whenever we stay along the North York Coast. It's a great pub l'ike they used to be' with a welcoming Landlord , fire , dog friendly , chatty locals and cosy atmosphere along with proper pub grub. It's brilliant to pick up the conversation from where it was left the year before with people that remember your face (hopefully for the right reasons!). My dog is normally a great judge of a pub - and he settles in quickly here! Thanks Mark , See you next year sometime.

We stopped here whilst staying in Staithes for the weekend. It was a decent warm day, for November, so we sat outside watching the waves crashing outside the arbour walls. The choice of food and drink is just amazing, and the lady serving was friendly and welcoming. Our drinks and snacks were top quality and they had oat milk too. Great spot to visit and great prices too.

Solo se detuvo para rollos de té y salchichas (así como inodoros). El servicio y los precios estaban bien, el lugar estaba limpio. Tarde en la mañana estaba bastante ocupado. La comida caliente parecía básica, pero bien.

This is sort of our local for Sunday Breakfast and takeaway coffee and cakes on dog walks. Never disappoints food always good and friendly staff
