We ate lunch here after exploring Staithes. The toasties were delicious but my dad was not overly delighted with his fish finger sandwich (he still enjoyed it) and he would have liked to have some salad or coleslaw come with it. The raspberry milkshake I ordered was extremely sweet and I couldn’t finish it. The cafe also seemed to be suffering with an unfortunate fly problem and two mating flies fell onto my dad’s plate!!!! Despite these minor issues, the food was tasty and the cakes looked yummy. The chef was so lovely! She gave us lots of information about the history of the local area and told us about the best places to visit nearby.

Think this is now called Coastal Kitchen. It's at the top of STAITHES hill. Great little place the food was simple but absolutely great. Well worth it.

We stopped in the cafe after a visit to village and the food and service was excellent. One item was missing from our order which delayed us slightly in leaving the cafe but didn't impact on visit to the cafe. However on our return home we were greeted by a £60 parking fine from the i-scam parking area across from the cafe for departing a few minutes late. I also discovered that this scam is happening on a regular basis see review and a fb group about this. Wont be back in Staithes while the village allow this continue, which is a shame as cafe was really nice

We called in for a coffee and a snack before heading down the steep hill to the harbour. Immaculately clean, we decided to sit outside and watch the world go by! The coffee and our sandwich were of a very high standard. Would definitely recommend.

What can I add to what's been said in prior reviews and concur completely with the five 'blob' ratings? There's parking outside but if all occupied it's only a short walk from the public car park further down the road towards Staithes harbour.

A lovely cafe on the street before you reach the cliff top car park. Yummy pies through the week but super Sunday lunch options, but you better be hungry!

Can not recommend this little gem enough. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, always a smile and a chat & works so hard to provide a fabulous service for locals and visitors in this lovely coastal village. The breakfast are excellent and such good value for money. We have visited several times now & always receive the same warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back when in the area again. Must try the lunches or evening meals! All again amazing value. The fact so many local people use it speaks for itself!

What a gem! The menu is simple, interesting and well considered. We had the daal stew which was delicious.;We were spoilt for choice with other offerings on the menu so will definitely go back. They make their own bread, scones and croissant too. Very friendly for humans and furry friends, I highly recommend.

My wife and I visited after seeing a sign scribbled on a chalk board during the day. It's an innovative little pop-up based in the vaults under Scarborough Market Hall, where there are craft and vintage shops by day. Manned by owner Paul who is very knowledgeable and chatty, we were treated to some superbly kept wines in a quietly informal atmosphere. It's a far cry from the hoi-polloi and bustle of Scarborough drinking holes, and one which must be prized. Top work, we'll be back.
