Only one real ale on. The pub is full of flies. Packed full of tv's during the day showing horse racing. Not to my liking.

We had my husbands 60th birthday party in the function room. The buffet was very reasonably priced and really nice. The staff and landlady were absolutely fabulous. Everything was perfect. Thankyou too you all for such a brilliant night!

The third incarnation of The Ship I've seen, and not the best to be honest The bar in the corner doesn't help, a bar should be the beating heart of a proper pub. I miss the 80s pub, the likeness of a real ship

Advertised as sky sports pub but I've just left and only mtv playing, no one Interested, no real ale on tap, first time I've been there since refurb won't be going back on Sat afternoon.

Horrible dirty. Bar staff standing taking shots with customers. Avoid.

It's was fair to good. About eight people in. My first visit so I like to go a few times before I do a proper review. There was four of us faffing over what to have. Lady behind the bar was patient and put on a new TT Landlord for us.. Watched the England Columbia game.. I'd go again..

We were lucky to pop in on a night when there was live music playing. A folksy duo kept the place in good spirits, and the lovely woman behind the bar kept us well watered 😉 Not sure if they serve food since we arrived late, but had some crisps to munch on. There's plenty of outdoor seating, however all drinks must stay inside as of 8:30pm as it's located in a residential part of the neighborhood.

Popped in to watch the national was a great atmosphere and friendly staff will be back x

A good atmosphere when we arrived, football was playing on a couple of big screens. We were a little disappointed with the choice of wines on offer, one type of red and one type of white. Prices are typical for Scarborough. We found a seat but it was getting busy as there was live music planned to start at 9pm. We enjoyed our relaxed drink and we were sorry to leave but we had a table booked at a restaurant at 8pm.

It's an OK place. Very very small bar area. Has a dance floor, outside space with kids climbing frame and slide. Available for private hire and has separate room. Offer Sunday lunch.

Nice outside area nice inside 10 min walk from train station.

Sad to report the Ship has sunk! Went for a Sunday carvery recently and it was not a patch on what the old Ship used to provide.

Wow run down. Beer garden out the back was a health hazard . Was a dumping ground for anything broken in the pub.

Its quite expensive for the location its a bit out of town but its a nice place to have a drink.

Great traditional friendly pub with a nice beer garden with swings and slides to keep the kids occupied. Mark and Michelle are the perfect hosts and make you very welcome. There's a good choice of beers and lagers on offer. Will be visiting again soon for sure 🙂

Well you can get a good pint british pub style but don't expect to feel warm and welcome.

Visiting Scarborough with husband for a long weekend called in to this lovely little pub on the Friday night great seen they do a carvery on a Sunday thought we would try it so glad we did hadn't booked a table but the very nice man behind the bar was so helpful managed to get us a table & we both had a really enjoyable meal will definitely be back it is such a friendly bar that we called in on the Sunday night a great little place with very friendly staff

We were made very welcome by the staff and the proprietor put on a lovely spread for all the supporters before the game against Scarborough.

Great pub with very friendly staff. A good pint and a cracking atmosphere.

A bit crowded around the bar, but outside in the beer garden, drinking an excellent pint of Bombardier with family was a very pleasant hour or so. We will be visiting again soon!

Cosy traditional pub, just had a drink,but will defo be back to sample the Sunday dinners as they looked yummy.

Eight of us had Sunday lunch on the 21st July. I can honestly say the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was flavoursome and of excellent quality. My sister is very fussy but she cleared her plate and two of my nephews had seconds. We were offered puddings and these did not disappoint! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We will be back soon

Lovely pub, lovely staff, great carvery, massive portions of meat, good value, what more could you ask for!!

Tiny pub hidden off the main drag. Some real ale and the menu although not extensive appears to have all the favourites. I didnt eat but it's on my to do list rib eye steak £8,50!

Food was nice, bit expensive for kids probably they would probably do better if the play park was free when eating their.

Not even a full ship I bet if there was a flood it wouldn't float its like discount Noah's Ark

Lovely pub, everyone makes you feel welcome. I've been working in Irton, for the last few months, 5 miles from Scarborough and staying in Scarborough. The Sunday lunches are excellent and fantastic value for money. If your a sports fan then the football, F1 racing is displayed on many screens, but the volume is such that you can watch or communicate with your companions with absolutely no difficulty. I would recommend this pub for a visit and especially the Sunday lunch.

No real ales just bog standard drinks, dark and boring.

The landlord and his wife were really helpful. Only wanted a sandwich for lunch. Unfortunately they only did carvery meals,but said we could go over to Coopers and eat what we bought there, in their beer garden. Really friendly and welcoming pub.

Nice friendly pub. Good for TV sport , Andover been told the Sunday lunch is great.
