Good food and friendly helpful service. Local produce used in all meals. Warm and cosy on a cold winter's day.

Decided to have a coffee here whilst partner when for eye test, the coffee was ok, when they came back we decided to have lunch there, order panini and jacket potato with drinks, the jacket potato arrived 5 minutes before the panini arrived. The staff mustn't be bothered with presentation or receiving bad reviews because why would you serve meals on plate with numerous chips on the edge, then noticed that the teapot also had a chip, maybe its time someone inspected the place for hygiene, hopefully you will have a working toilet by then.

Amazing place. You don't have to be religious to go. The food is very good, and big portions. About the same price as eating at Costa, but with the food freshly made! And fast! I don't know how they manage it. The cakes are amazing, but this is my first time having lunch and my friends haven't stopped talking about it! We will be back soon.

Sarah gave us the most amazing customer service ensuring we are well attended and Alisha and Jacob made the most incredible food. We enjoyed out bottomless brunch and we will be returning!!!

I ordered a latte but it was full of milk, and I couldn’t taste the coffee flavour. I didn’t enjoy the taste at all. The staff wasn’t friendly, and cleaning materials were left on the tables. Overall, I was disturbed by everything and it wasn’t an enjoyable experience for me.

I visited The Crown recently with my daughter for an evening meal. We both had a burger meal, which included a drink. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. There was a great atmosphere which was down to Kieran, a highly efficient member of staff who provided a warm friendly welcome and seamless service. We will be back.

A great sandwich bar (only when the owner is there!!!) She is lovely - chatty and smiles all round, always happy to see you. When she leaves the place to be run by a number of the younger female staff members, it all goes to hell. Today (Monday 15th) Sue wasn’t in and this is not uncommon when she isn’t around………. Ordering a simple breakfast box and a sausage sandwich goes all wrong. Informed it was cash only today, but only when I went to pay after the food had been cooked. Had to go back home for cash, no explaination given or apology, no sign either up saying ‘cash only today’. Arrived back to girl on a FaceTime chat rather than engaged in serving me. Got my order home and completely incorrect (no egg and yet double sausage and bacon) 🤦🏻‍♂️. If Jill’s Cafe was open for n Milnsbridge on a Monday, I’d have left the food there, not returned and paid, and gone there instead. Great when the owner is there, terriboe when she’s not.

Just back open recently I called in afternoon it was quite. Gets busy at night . Added to my to do Friday night list. Good prices 👍

July a quick review on this one but I needed to comment on the breakfast I've just had....it was simply the best Wetherspoons one I have ever eaten. I know it depends on which chef is on but it was perfect. Exactly as it should be, asked my bacon crispy and it was, plus it was all really hot. A great experience. A really nice Wetherspoons too, in my opinion it is better amd has a nicer atmosphere than The Cherry Tree at the top of Huddersfield. If you in Huddersfield, pop in! Oh....make sure you have the Freedom Breakfast!

Rude staff take to many orders on a your waiting 20mins+ and when u ask where your order is you get a rude response! Used to love bagel factory last 2 times experience been horrendous…

Bacon sandwich was terrible, cheap bacon full of fat and water no taste and cold for £8 for this and a coffee unacceptable ( last visit never again).

Consistently lovely food, reasonably priced, super friendly staff, always make you feel very welcome. Go in every fortnight, they remember my order!

Bit pricier than local cafes but the drinks and snacks are top notch

Good gin. Popped in for 2 drinks with my boyfriend, was cheap and bar staff was friendly. Cute smoking area and friendly customers too.
