It's ok. Coffee is nice. Service can be so so. But the tables are always full with dirty wares and customers clear them away. The salt, sugar, and pepper pots need a good clean. The food prep area is not kept clean and this should be a must!!. If the manager knew how staff are behaving when she's not there, she would be so disappointed.

We often visit for brunch. The food is good, the service is good and it is a quiet atmosphere. There is a lovely little courtyard area at the back.

Very nice cafe , they do a really nice jacket potato 🥔 with a side salad 🥗

I don’t know if we arrived on a bad day but the two young ladies serving were like our teenage son. Miserable and no smiles and eye rolls a plenty. My husband had a latte which he enjoyed but my hot chocolate was Luke warm and tasted very powdery. We both had a panini which was served with wilted brown edged iceberg lettuce. My panini was the turkey cranberry and stuffing which was Luke warm and not very pleasant. It gave me indigestion and feeling sick for the rest of the day. I was so dissatisfied as it seemed a cosy place.

Over £3 for an awful sandwich which looked like it came from a petrol station.

Coffee was nice BBQ chicken panni very cheap chicken uncooked cold chicken in panni thats no no staff has long long nails serving food.when complained staff wasn't interested.

My sister and I went in for first time today and had jacket potato with a salad selection, we loved it, good selection of salad, quick service and lovely relaxing place. We will deffo be going back there.

I am sorry to write this but Coffee Cup does not merit a 4.5 status. I am giving 3 stars as I could see how hard the staff were working but the food is not great.

Called today for brunch. Staff, service and ambience very good. My husband had poached eggs on toast which he enjoyed though the presentation wasn't great. My toasted teacake was also good. I think it had been cooked on a panini toaster as it had been flattened giving it a different texture to what I expected. Overall very good coffee and great value for money.

Lovely coffee, my son's favourite place to get food and just sit and chill. Food portions are well worth the money.

Good breakfast, clean and well presented had tea (£?) plus breakfast (£5- 2 eggs 1 x toast, bacon and beans) made to order so fresh and tastes yummy, so good we went back next day. Great value ad friendly staff

I have a medical disorder which occurred today in the cafe. The staff as well as a customer were so reassuring. I’m so grateful & the food is fantastic too. Chrissy S

Sausage quality worst I've ever had they taste like cocktail sausages but large version Everything else here is fine but I like to get sausage sandwiches and these are the plainist most tasteless sausages I've ever had Also they serve cakes on your napkin under the cake itself rendering the napkin totally useless as now it's full of whatever the type of cake you ordered filling on your napkin before you've even taken your first bite

Want a good priced lunch in town go here. My favourite is the soup and sandwich deal fab value very tasty. Had loaded potatoes soup and beef and Stilton sandwich fab

Oh my What a lovely place. Been a few times but this time the lady was so lovely who was serving me. They have the best salad bar with homemade dressings and fillings like sweet potato pakora. Olives, feta and different pasta. Great value for money and the lady even said I could choose another filling as I wasn’t eating and of the protein/meat options. Their baked items are lovely too I had an apple slice which was so fresh and gorgeous. Rare find this place with lovely attentive staff.

Really good food coffees like americano are very strong so i prefer getting one shot instead of two in a regular cup. The food and drink should arrive together we waited a long time between drinks and meal.

As we entered we waiting for one of the two members of staff to attend to us. (few minutes in all) We were asked if we wanted to dine in or takeaway. We decided to dine in. The lady behind the counter said sit at that top table and proceeded to wonder off! (Which one as there were several) So we sat down and waited and waited and waited. The two members of staff continued to clean the panini machine, chat amongst themselves and everything else apart from tend to us! Not one word said to us in 15 minutes despite the lady walking past us! Ended up walking out and had coffee elsewhere. 3 customers in the shop at the time so wasn't even busy!

Came across this cafe and was very impressed with the Covid precautions they are taking. You can see they make everything fresh in house which is a refreshing change, not to mention they make an awesome cuppa!

We have been ordering breakfast from here for a couple of months now, we have spending about £30 a week on this business. We have found that the staff are sometimes rude and unwelcoming in the shop, orders have come back either not what we asked for or far too overcooked. The prices are extortionate for what you get, £3.50 for a sausage sandwhich!!!!!!!

My husband and I call for lunch and what a pleasant surprise.We ordered a meal deal of homemade soup and freshly prepared sandwich.The soup was delicious chicken Alfredo and open tunamelt panini with plenty of filling.Highly recommend will definitely go again and give the homemade cakes a try next time

Just happened to park right outside this cafe. So many unremarkable coffee shops on high street these days that it's a gamble each time you visit one. BUT this gamble paid off. I had a 3 shot Cappuccino and a bacon and egg on brown teacake. I made no further requests. The lovely, pleasant chatty lass brought my coffee to the table immediately (I have balance problems) and the butty arrived a couple of minutes later. A bacon sandwich is such a basic package yet it's saddening how many bad ones are served. Not this one 👍🏻😋 Soft, fresh bap, well filled with CRISPY bacon and runny egg with a creamy yolk. So happy all round and not only will I come again but I'll actually make this my 'go to' from now on. Knocks the chains and franchises into the pit they belong. Only fly in the ointment was that 4 tables I could see needed a good clean. This just prevents them earning 10 out of 10. Call in - you won't be disappointed 😋

Was so pleased I stumbled across this cute coffee shop, with such a lovely outdoor patio area. I had a really good coffee and a Mediterranean salad which was one of the most colourful and nutritious salads I have ever had not at home. Great value, and my friends sandwiches all got good compliments too- although I think the winner was the beef and Stilton! Will definitely be back 😀

Went in and got a caramel latte with a slice of a lovely millionaires cake and it was gorgeous, would definitely come back.

Came in to Coffee Cup today and what a delight! The food was delicious! It’s very hard to find somewhere that caters for Gluten Free, however I wasn’t spoilt for choice here! Staff are very polite and the service was incredible, waiting no longer than five minutes for food. I must say it was a delight and I most certainly will be back again.

I CALLED IN THE COFFEE CUP CAFE THIS WEEK AND WAS SHOCKED BY WHAT I WITNESSED. ONE GIRL WAS SERVING BEHIND THE COUNTER IN HER OUTDOOR COAT AND HAT AND ANOTHER GIRL WAS PREPARING A JACKET POTATO FOR A CUSTOMERS MEAL WITH HUGE LONG 1INCH ACRYLIC NAIL EXTENTIONS JUST LIKE TALLONS ON HER HANDS. SHE USED THE ACRYLIC NAIL TO MARK AND OPEN UP THE CRISS CROSS CUT ON TOP OF THE POTATO, DIGGING HER NAIL INTO THE FOOD! NOT WEARING ANY PROTECTIVE GLOVES (IMPOSSIBLE WITH THOSE NAILS ANYWAY). I WONT BE EATING THERE AGAIN!!

I went in for lunch today for the first time. I ordered a Bbq Panini and coffee and took a seat. A short time later my panini arrived. After a couple of bites I realised this wasn't Bbq it had too much mayo. I asked if it was Bbq and the staff member said 'no that a chicken mayo, your order was mixed up' She offered me a coffee but no Bbq chicken because id taken a bite of the mayo panini. I walked out and will never return. Not happy and no apologies.

Great coffee, great offers, friendly staff with a good vibe to the place! It's the perfect place to hug a cup of coffee on a wet, windy day or soak up some sun in the outdoor area that's available.
