Had a really lovely lunch as always but the kebab skewers simply didn’t fill me up so ordered a single kebab as an extra to finish the chips and salad off with. Paid the bill and it was only after leaving that I discovered I’d been charged the full £16 meal price for the additional skewer. I definitely expected to be charged at least an additional £10 but to be charged for the full meal I thought was really unfair. In doing that lindley taps is basically saying that their chips, side salad, pitta Bread and lemon mayonnaise are worthless. As apparently is my custom as I won’t be going back. Just really cheeky and very poor customer service.

We go on a weekly evening walk around the lindley area and this time decided to call into lindley tap bar and grill. We missed their food service but had a couple drinks and basic snacks. Nice atmosphere and bar staff.

Went in for breakfast last minute on Sunday, we had 2 full English breakfasts, the food was gorgeous and plenty of it, made even better as it was 2 for £12 (exc drinks) such a good deal for such quality food. Will definitely be going again.

Came for a cocktail with my parents and boyfriend and this lady named Vicky who works here is extremely rude and hostile, missed half of our order and was very rude when we asked politely if we could get the rest of our drinks I wouldn’t recommend if she is there

An extremely pleasant bar to enjoy a beer, coffee or soft drink. If the sun is out grab a seat out front and even though the road in front of the Tap can be busy at times it isn't too obtrusive. Foodwise, I recommend the hanging kebab. Staff are always pleasant.

Best pub in the village. Comfortable and welcoming with a fine range of well kept beers.

Met a friend for lunch but we'd both already eaten, so just a couple of drinks, some great smells coming from the Kitchen Friendly knowledgeable Bar staff, comfortable, sedate atmosphere, consistently the nicest place on lindley.

Didn't eat football was on a lot of smoking outside. Overall quite pleasant as it was fine weather.

Visited Friday night, place looks lovely and staff were excellent but the noise level was to much for me, didn't have any food

We came for food and drinks and the service was amazing ! The hanging kebabs are amazing and our server Eva had the best service ! will be returning soon.

Popped in for a drink and some food when on a road trip. Incredible service from attentive and lovely staff. Was put on to their deal for the day and the pizza was gorgeous, great portions and tasted great. Pints were lovely too. Would definitely recommend, certainly the worth the visit if you’re in the area.

Popular place makes the atmosphere good. Excellent real ale.

After looking forward to a nice meal and few drinks in the sun we were left feeling disappointed after being made to feel like an inconvenience to the lady behind the bar. Our disappointment continued when our starter arrived, solo act starring a petite chicken goujon for the princely sum of £8. While other meals were nice, this was unacceptable. Barely one goujon performance left us pondering the price of poultry perfection.

Always have a giggle here. Very handy pub near some nice places to eat.

Excellent Rib-eye steak, very reasonably priced too. Can't fault it.

We had two really well made cocktails when we visited, Great value at 2 for £12.

Everything really good food came out quick but the portions very small fish and chips 13.00 per person the portions are for a child Could not believe when the waiter came out with them you can’t charge those prices For those portions Disappointed ☹️

We took a couple of friends round Lindley for a few drinks and this was our favourite,the staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great.The food looked fantastic although we didn't eat there.

We stopped here by chance during a business trip. We ate very well and the place is nice and clean!

Food was really good. Fresh and great quality.

We had lunch with another couple and really enjoyed the food. The light lunch menu is perfect for us as the portions are not too big. The fish goujons were a lovely starter as the the batter is really light and delicious. Three of us had chilli as our main and this was very tasty. It would be nice to offer sour cream to go with it. One member of our party had the burger and said it was delicious. Service was excellent with everyone being friendly and efficient. We will certainly eat here again.

Brilliant little spot and great food and atmosphere only thing I could scrutinies is that not enough tables but with the size of the building unfortunately they are not able to accommodate this. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

Came for a midweek lunch and had the Christmas set menu which we pre ordered. The food was gorgeous all fresh and piping hot. It was clean plates all around. The staff were really friendly and there was a great atmosphere.

Me and my husband came in for lunch, the venue had a lovely atmosphere, made us feel very welcome. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us and the food was out of this world. The best hanging kebab I’ve ever had. This will definitely be my new local.

Lovely place gorgeous food definitely worth a visit

Booked a table for 8 of us for my mum's birthday and had to pre-book all our meals. Service was fab, one of our girls changed their mind about what they wanted to eat and they were more than happy to change the order, even though she then decided that stick with what she had ordered in the first place. Drinks were great; 2 of the same cocktails were cheaper than buying seperate different ones. Food took a bit longer to come out than we would have liked, but it was worth it. Hanging Kebabs were so yummy, Sister had steak n chips and she loved it. Pizza's not so much, daughter said the BBQ chicken pizza had far too much sauce witch overpowered it, but she ate most of it anyway. 6 of us had pudding. My daughter asked if she could have custard and ice cream with her brownie and again, she wasn't denied. Fab atmosphere all night. Looks like it's very popular with the locals to start a great night out in Lindley, but wasn't roudy. Classy bar/restaurant but comfy and relaxed. Would recommend to anyone wanting good food and great service. Will definitely be booking again!

Only had a drink in a Wednesday afternoon before heading somewhere else for food. Was just a pub, felt like I was in the middle of town, nothing special but nothing terrible to say

Very poor. Very poor service & food left a lot to be desired.

Mainly breakfast and sandwiches.

It was nice the workers are nothing but helpful, the beer on draught is rather nice too, this is a nice pub that does rather decent food worth dropping by.

Just had lunch at Lindley tap. There were 3 of us and we have enjoyed all we had. The staff were great and we were very comfortable, However it did start to get a little noisy as people came in, we were there for 1pm and by 2pm it had got very busy which made talking a little more difficult because the music was suddenly turned up which wasn’t necessary. Good value for money and would definitely go again. Just a couple of things maybe if I am being pedantic, The wine was pricey and the steak sandwich which I had was delicious but a bit stingy on the steak, perhaps a couple more little pieces.

Great friendly staff who go the extra mile. Food is amazing and tastes fresh.Great atmosphere and a nice clean and modern establishment. There are other places in Lindley to eat but Lindley Taps hands down stands out above them all.

Bar very nice, a pleasant atmosphere, staff nice enough, food a let down went for the sandwiches from the lunch menu, chip’s lovely but the sandwiches were plain and boring, bread was thin and bland out of a normal loaf and the filling was non existent, definitely not worth the money paid for the meal would return to drink but not eat again.

Called for a drink before and after to a local restaurant. Friendly staff. Menu looked good. Outside seating. Highly recommended

What a wonderful place with fantastic food. We went on a recommendation and we’re not disappointed my husband had the hanging beef steak kebab and I had a burger. Great price too. If in the area definitely worth a visit

Wow what a gem of a place .....food beautiful and fresh. Great portion sizes. 100% service with a friendly smile and attitude from the staff. Nothing too much trouble for them.

We went as a party of 5 for a 7pm meal, drinks & a catch up. The food is average pub grub - absolutely fine. The service was a little slow. The cacophony of noise meant we couldn't hear ourselves to catch up. More a beer & social pub than a meal & catch up with friends place, especially on a Friday night. Lesson learnt.

I went out for lunch with my partner.Enjoyed the chorizo and red wine, and I would have liked a bit more bread, but that's because the bread was nice. The burger and fries are very tasty. Followed by sticky Toffee Pudding.

Serves at the table. Homely atmosphere. Great food. Cost us £43 for 2 courses of menu and 2 pints and 2 soft drink at lunch. If you go out these days you need to make sure you get a good place and this is one of them. Have to say wine was a bit pricey for a pub.

I visited this bar and grill with my partner as they’ve got a good deal on 1 course £10 2 courses £13 and 3 for £15. We visited during the day, in the afternoon and it was very pleasant. The pint was nice, service was decent and the atmosphere was adequately relaxed for a weekday. Food wise, one course would leave you slightly peckish so I’d recommend 2 or 3 courses depending on your belly. Nevertheless it was well prepared food. I would recommend giving it a go, it feels like it pitches itself above ‘pub’ and in the gastro pub zone. Was clean and tidy, give it a go - we didn’t have pizza but they looked nice.

Popped in for lunch with my mum and a couple of my sister's. Food was lovely and the service was very good. Had a couple of lovely cocktails too. Will definitely return.

Lovely food well presented but I felt like a leper as I dined on my own I wasn't asked if everything was alright with my food Iike everybody else was obviously l didn't fit in with the other clientele I was only asked if everything was alright as I payed my bill to go by a new member of staff who had just started her shift .

Was looking forward to dining here, having read reviews, unfortunately we was disappointed, the chicken was over cooked and very salty, the rice seemed out of a packet & the tzatziki was not tzatziki, I’m so sorry that we didn’t mention at the time but the bar staff was lovely & welcoming and a lovely pub but the food just let it down!!

Popped in with a friend for lunch. Really nice location and look to the bar. Food was really good. We both had a S&P chicken burger which was great. Massive TVs on the wall playing sport for those interested. Was a little cramped in space and service for food took a while but they did warn us on arrival.

Lovely little hang out and it's doggy friendly so was a really pleasant stop on our afternoon walk for a pint. Didn't eat but did look lovely.

Our daughter had recently moved into Lindley and this was the very first pub that we went to on our first night out and we really liked the friendly atmosphere and vibe. So the next opportunity we had to return was for a Sunday lunch after a mornings gardening! On arrival there was a bit of confusion as the booking had been put in the book for the Saturday instead of the Sunday, even though my daughter had visited and made the booking in person! The rooms were pretty full with the pub football team in the one room, luckily we managed to get a table with tall chairs in the corner. The service was efficient and friendly, shout out to Ellie and Josh. Except for putting ice in the Metaxa brandy without asking if I wanted it, which I didn't! The drinks arrived and the IPA is a really good pint as were the wines. The food really is very, very good for pub grub! I can't recall what we had for starters but they were good. The mains were excellent, I had roast beef and the girls both had the belly pork, 2 big slices each all served with yorkshire pudding, lovely crisp vegetables and plenty of gravy. The desserts too were excellent especially the sticky toffee pudding and the cheesecake! The girls were however defeated and had some pork and cheesecake to go! All in all a really good lunch in nice friendly surroundings. See you next time! ;-)

Stayed in Lindley for a couple of nights and found this little gem, a lovely atmosphere about the place, great choice of drinks and cocktails. We decided to have dinner here and it was excellent the rump steak was cooked perfectly and the skewer was presented well. Everything was faultless, and great friendly staff .

Ordered a special. Duck in hoisin sauce and noodles. Came out, and unless you're American then linguine is pasta. I expected Chinese egg noodles, and it was literally 1cm diced duck in loads of sweet hoisin sauce and pasta

It was my wife’s and I first visit to this little gem. Couldn’t fault one thing. The food was out of this world and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Greeted us with a warm smiling welcoming and continued to stay like that throughout our visit! 100% recommend! We will be back!

Never had an alcoholic drink that tasted so good! Could be dangerous if you're sitting drinking a while, but was really really tasty. I arrived on pizza day and the food was better than most pizza places

What a fantastic find! My partner and I have found it harder and harder to find decent pub food. Our favourite nearly killed us last time with the most over salted pie we have ever expirenced. We fell apon this place as a matter of being near and hungry. We had tried several places that didn't serve food all day(although they claim to on Google) however this gem did. We decided to go for our favourite: pie, handcut chips & gravey.....most decent pubs should be able to get this right. That was before sadly in the good old days before Brexit and Covid hit. Lindley Tap and bar (at an unusual dinner time to most) brought out the MOST DELICIOUS OFFERING! The pie of the day steak & potato seasoned beautifully, the chips I promise you were made in heaven, the gravy made me cry it was that delicious! Lovely/friendly staff. Our new favourite!

Well Helen and Amanda went tonight waited 45 minutes for the service thr chorizo starter was swimming in water . We wanted to eat our starter together as Amanda sent her starter back . Overall service disappointed not returning

Disappointing to have to rate at a "2" since I have previously had good food here. But fair reflection, if a little generous, on this occasion. Wait time for food was far too long for a simple order and a very quiet place - over 45 minutes. Then when food arrived - sausage and mash was ok, salt and pepper chicken burger was declared as very good. But steak skewers were very overcooked and tough. The experience and speaking to staff showed a problem with the kitchen. Hopefully this will soon be resolved as this is a lovely place which needs to be serving quality food - as it previously did. Will maybe leave for a few weeks to enable kitchen issues to be resolved and then visit again.
