Good food and friendly helpful service. Local produce used in all meals. Warm and cosy on a cold winter's day.

This is a takeaway sandwich shop and is really useful when you are waiting for a train at the nearby station. Also the sandwiches are really very nice and the staff very helpful. They went the extra mile to help a customer in front of me who had food allergies and I was impressed with their willingness to be flexible with their menu. Reasonable prices for well filled and fresh sandwiches ... lovely!

This is only a very small Cafe / Takeaway. It is up a few steps from Railway Street. Blink and you may miss it! There is only one table and a few chairs but don't let this stop you. It is well worth the visit. Spotless (5*) and very friendly serving a good variety of sandwiches and snacks. sandwiches and salads are freshly made to order. There is a specials board with good choices. It has recently been taken over by James the new owner, who is ably assisted by an established staff member Pippa. James who told me that he has recently graduated from Catering College. He is eager to please. Keep the same enthusiasm going and you are certain to be on the up. David

The best bacon butty I've had in ages and at £2.50 INCLUDING a cup of decent coffee it was excellent value for money. A warm welcome and a spotless little cafe - an excellent start to the day. What more can one say?

I was really looking forward to my poached eggs on toast this morning but when I got it the eggs was hard and over cooked. For £3.50 I expected them to be just how I like them (as it is advertised on their website) It was a big let down.

What an absolute asset to Huddersfield!!! Wonderful service and good value but most of all so so so tasty!!! Even when I’m being healthy and opting for a salad it’s still the most mouthwatering lunch! Thank you and keep up the good work!

The food was absolutely outstanding and the team who cooked it worked very hard and were everything I could possibly have wished for. They were charming and attended to our every requirement. They brought everything with them then left the kitchen immaculate. Fabulous service and I cannot recommend them more highly.

I am so glad I discovered this place. Sandwiches tend to bore me but not from here. Really fresh, tasty ingredients and plenty of fillings. I call in at least once a week when I'm working in town. They never disappoint me. This has got to be the best sandwich shop in Huddersfield!

Outstanding quality of food and presentation . Catered for over 25 people. Excellent service and totally recommended. We were celebrating a business event and it will be remembered by all those who attended. Look forward to The Little Kitchen providing the catering at our next event ! Great value too. Thank you to Philipa and Harriet

The cutest place, a delicious selection and wonderful, welcoming staff. I'm only in Huddersfield occasionally, but will drop by for a sandwich every single time.

We was on our way for the train, rushing around like headless chickens as we was starving so we called in here for a butty. I ordered bacon and black pudding but sadly they ran out of black pudding, so then i asked for mushrooms sadly there was no mushrooms boo :( So i ordered just bacon which was unusual for me because i like extras on my butty but never mind. Was a nice butty though so am not complaining. Good little cafe by the train station if your in a rush for going somewhere. Thanks guys :)

This is the place to go for a good sandwich at lunch time. As previous people have said, the rare roast beef sandwiches/salads are lovely and all food is home made, including cakes. Good quality ingredients including proper lurpac spread rather than cheap margarine, it's a winner every time.

What a great place. I stumbled upon it by accident but so glad I did. Everything is home made and so fresh and tasty. I had a ham salad and it was yummy. Home cooked ham and fresh crunchy salad. The coffees are great too. Friendly helpful and super quick service.

I regularly pop over to pick up a sandwich for lunch from The Little Kitchen. Quality ingredients, fast service, and the house-made cakes are *gorgeous*. The rare roast beef is a treat, as is the honey roast ham, with a generous portion of salad if you like, on a choice of breads. I have also had their breakfast sandwiches - and very much enjoy the BLT.

Always a pleasure visiting here. Great range of soups and reasonably priced coffee £2 or pot of tea £1.60 (Dec '18). The staff are friendly and there's a outdoor seating area which in summer is a real sun trap.

Great selection of craft beers, always changing. Highly recommend 'Neck oil' when it's on. Loads of choice for non beer drinkers too. Not tried the food since it's changed, menu looks good though. Really friendly and helpful staff.
