The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

Just been today Feb 7th and was waiting nicely in the queue when they keep serving people behind you and when you have a broken spine you don't have long to stand there waiting for them service when 4 others came after me

This was my first visit to the copper cow, we were a table of 8. Between us we had 3 Sunday sharing platters and we were shocked that this came out on a standard plate with not much variety leaving 1 item per person to share. We also had 2 children’s meals which came out on plastic plates although the children are 4/8. We agreed the food was nice but we have had better, our main concern was the standard of service which was very very poor. The staff weren’t aware when we needed extra drinks and the tables needed cleaning as we were with dirty plates well after we’d finished the meal and had to ask for desert menus. I think this is due to a lack of experience and young ages of staff who were more bothered about talking amongst each other. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be returning to the copper cow as we know we can get better at other local bars and restaurants.

My friend and I enjoyed a peaceful break here towards the end of a Saturday afternoon. The service was very good and the tea and cake were delicious. I would like to go back sometime for a lunch or afternoon tea!

A little gem in Hebden Bridge!!! Tasty, delicious food. Friendly staff who go above and beyond to make everyone happy. It's such a cute cafe, with lots of choices on the menu. I had a chicken, stuffing, cranberry, and gravy sandwich with a potion of chunky chips on the side. There was so much filling, and the chips were so fluffy!!!! Definitely be going again soon. I would say to book, though, as they always seem busy. We're lucky to get in. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Outstanding food - if you’re a meat eater the lamb and chicken are beautifully cooked - the best food we’ve had since moving to Halifax 12 years ago. The style is more Mediterranean cafe than restaurant, informal and welcoming. The proprietors are always on hand making sure everything is up to their standards. We’ve been 3 times in the last month!

Great food as always and the staff are friendly! Definitely worth a visit, we will be back.

A quality pub providing good beer and good food. This must be the best pub in the area. It's friendly, the atmosphere is good and the food/beer spot on.

Fantastic quaint country pub! The food never fails to impress, the service is second to none and the rooms are modern, clean and very good value.

The greatest little bar with the most beautiful and fun gigs - come down on a gig night and feel part of a secret community of joy! LOVE this place.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing value for money! I had a 1/4 pounder cheeseburger for £4.50. It was how you'd imagine a great simple cheeseburger with grated melted cheese and seeded bun, simple and tasty. Proper chips as well! Nice jazz music gently in the background. Gotta keep these small places going cause they'll be gone one day!

Food isn't bad, it used to be my go to cafe for a sandwich whilst working, unfortunately the last 2 times I've been in I've waited over 35 minutes for a sandwich to take out, with lots of people that came in after me getting served first. I just don't have time to wait that long for a sandwich. Won't be going no more .

No puedo decir suficiente sobre el ambiente, la comida y el servicio! La comida era caliente y delicioso! Personal amable y feliz! ¡No puedo esperar a volver cuando esté en Halifax de nuevo!

The servers were super friendly and the food was extremely delicious. The chips were proper and the fish was beautifully battered and fresh. Will definitely return!
