Plummet Line Hotel in Calderdale

Staff went the extra mile to ensure that we all had a good time. The pub itself is very cosy and clean.They have also got two huge screens outside which is great for people who nip for a quick ciggie or just prefer to sit in the open.

We came in for Chelsea game on Saturday, well we got a whole more, we found rugby was on after then Joshua fight, what was a few drinks turned into a all day sports extravaganza, it was amazing, our new home for sports,-

The whole pub is kitted out with multiple screens so you will never miss a second of your match. Staff are warm and welcoming and the selection of ales and gin are fantastic.

This is the only pub in the area where I feel comfortable coming in alone if I'm waiting for my husband. The staff are truly amazing - so funny, chatty and very knowledgeable about their products !! If there is a special sports thing on the big TV they totally throw themselves into the spirit - brilliant!!! lucy is charming - and she knows her wines and cocktails !!! Keep up the good work ladies !!!

The staff here are amazing, they look after everyone, and make everyone feel welcome, brill for sports, dj on weekends, cask ale is superb

heard about this place from a few friends who are regulars, and after visiting, i'm trusting their judgment more. Cosy pub, not expensive and exceptional value for money. the lasses behind the bar seemed to enjoy their job which made this visit even better. will be coming back when i'm next in halifax.

Service was some of the best, proffessional while still personal. Lovely ladies who couldn't have gone any further out of their way to help. Love the jukebox and the DJ is brill. Will defo be coming back!

I visited for the first time and was really impressed with the range of Ales, lagers and gins on offer. All at very reasonable prices!I watched the football with my friends and they have plenty screens so wherever you are in the pub you can see the match.We will definitely visit again.

Best selection of cask ale for miles around, staff always at hand to help advise, you can even have tasters if you are unsure

I recently visited here and as usual i thought it was going to be a stressful experience having children with me, i was pleasantly surprised and the stress was taken away by the friendly staff and the whole experience. Staff were so polite, friendly and even interacted with my children and spoke to them like humans, asking them directly what they would like etc. Such a pleasure to be there! We will be back again! Many thanks and a massive shout out to all staff!! Amazing!!

Such a lovely, warm, friendly, welcoming pub. Have a great selection of real ales which rotate often. This is always a winner with my husband!! However, they also have one the best gin selections that I have see in a town center pub and this makes me happy too!Great friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Can't wait to be back soon!

I came to the plummet line for a pint after work. The staff were lovely. I was served by a girl who went by the name Shanice, she pulled a great pint and was lovely to talk to. I will definitely be returning.

I was passing through halifax after a long day fishing with my friends, and came across this pub the hand pulled ales are fantastic and the atmosphere is very intimate and friendly. I was served by a really friendly barmaid called Katie , she was really helpful and friendly and pulls a pint well, the bar was really well kept and very clean i will be back ! .

I was recently in halifax visiting friends and came across this pub as it advertised hand pulled Ales and boy did it deliver. I was greeted by a lovely girl (Katie I believe) and she ran through the extensive collection of Cask Ales. Pub was clean with a friendly atmosphere.

The atmosphere there is absolutely brilliant as is the staff. Reanne and the rest of the girls always go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great time. 5 🌟

Went in after a long lockdown, to some new faces behind the bar, Reanne introduced me to a new worker Katharina (kat). Was a pleasent evening.

Such a well run pub, Sarah is always so friendly and smiley she genuinely cares about her staff and customers, without a doubt she has the best team in Halifax all the girls do such a wonderful job, i go in a lot for sports nothing is too much trouble and they always tell me latest offers or whats coming up, safe as well, not once have i seen any bother in there, if you haven't been its well worth a visit, there cask ale selection is superb also

Brilliant pub staff always so friendly good management who looks after the customers pub has a duke box so can play own music which is a bonus my new Friday night local and this is the only pub I have seen that has stuck to all the covid protocols so well done

I was messed with by my step father. I went to this pub and it was Gary Glitter songs all night. It brought back terrible memories. I thought this was all behind me. God knows how much this is going to cost in additional therapy

We came here on the Saturday afternoon, June 15th: no one waiting for service in a very busy bar, but we were totally ignored for over five minutes, by a dark haired woman with plaits who seemed to be on first named terms with all the clientele. Eventually a bored looking kid came over and reluctantly served us. I'd like to say the beer made up for it, but two of the beers were Sheffield ones we have all the time. I did enjoy the half pint of Ilkley Mary Jane I had, yet again this is a run of the mill beer in a run of the mill pub. Won't be visiting again

Our group were on a Pub/Restaurant 'Crawl', following a successful charity Golf Day at the Halifax Golf Club, to raise funds for a close fiend suffering from Motor Neurone Disease.Against London prices, as a Southerner, it amazes me how they make a profit..Lets relocate to the North Yorkshire area!Well presented place with a friendly staff and a full range of ales and spirits. Enjoy!

Great place friendly staff good priced beers all different gins ...happy hour mon and tues clise to town centre seem to get the over 21s ....good fun all round xx

A great pub which I use regularly when I am in the UK. Great range of beers, ales and ciders but there is no longer food served. A sports pub as well where there are various happy days and drink promotions. The place is favored by the older end, like me!Sarah and the girls are great hosts and friendly bunch of lovely people. Pub always clean and warm. toilets are decent as well. Good seating and bar areas. Food does not seem to have taken off and has been abandoned, at least for now it has.
