Absolutely fantastic staff service, Excellent atmosphere . Great sports venue, if they can change the TV channel for your viewing position, they will. Great regulars pub, nicely off the mad circuit, try it!

Superb Town Centre Real Ale Pub Well worth a visit to this 19th century pub which has 7 Real Ale pumps with prices around £2.50 a pint and Brewers such as Ossett Moorhouses Bradfield and Tetley's on Cask. They also have lots of TV screens showing sport. Well worth a visit if you are in Halifax Town Centre

Really don't know what to say that I haven't said before but with Adrian & Mark you always get what you don't pay for ( hint to other DJCrews, were living through a Cost of Living crisis & if not actually personal many of us are supporting out kids through it !! Cheers guys :-)) ) So the sun's out, muttleys napping and had a brilliant Weds afternoon with the Halifax Soul Crew as expected. They always pull a brilliant crowd & the music gets better time after time, perhaps some older tunes this time?? But it's what I grew up loving so enough said & no way am I talking about my bloody great age here 😂 for anyone so do not ask !!!! Sorry, the gig !! Fabulous music, excellent crowd and packed to the gills with truly lovely people. I was told about one I knew nothing about so will be checking that out and we'll see. Now, who's seen our DJs in an actual pose ?? Bet not many but I somehow managed to persuade them 😂 and.......they still both look the 🐝 knee's ⚡ 👆 Perhaps they felt like it was Benidorm !! Take good care of yourselves and my score?? An very easy 17/10. Now, who's going to get a massive 20/10 ??? I've a feeling I know who might but time will tell, take care all & keep those dance floors full 🌕!! Xx Sunday 30th June Northern & ⚽ Sadly an easy winner today was the ⚽ but hey ho that's life & it was a pretty nail-biting match as the crowd was ooooh aaahh'ing at regular intervals!! A huge shout went up when there was I think either a goal or near miss not sure which as I was too busy on the dancefloor :-)) A guest DJ from the other side (aka dark side) of the Pennines played an excellent set & Mark and Adrian were on top form as usual. A fantastic mix of old school & more modern but we'd a mix of old Motown & early classic Northern & talk about happy bunny with a virtually empty dancefloor until a few had had enough of the big screens and joined in, again all brilliant dancers & ex Wigan Casino people so a nice bit of reminiscing went on in & amongst so massive thanks to all concerned perhaps try not to clash with the ⚽ again!! 18 /20 & very well deserved, cheers guys and a big 👍🏼 to all concerned xx

We decided to do the Overgate Hospice Big Pub Quiz at the Plummet Line. Great decision! We have been to this pub on many occasions but not for some time. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, free juke box at the end of the night and the staff were excellent. James and James hosted the quiz really well and we were made to feel very welcome. Great night and will definitely visit again.

Beers were good, staff were OK but background music way too loud for comfortable conversation. It's not a nightclub!!, its a pub, especially on a Saturday afternoon, turn it down and you'll get me back there 😀

The plummet line is the best pub in Halifax,excellent, friendly staff, great choice of real ale, larger and the best Guinness all very reasonably priced. Always accommodating if you want to watch a particular sport wherever possible. it doesn't matter when you go you are always greeted with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. A few too many TV's for me but as the most exciting last day of the Premiership footie kicked off as we arrived I cannot hold this against them. The real ale was excellent and also very reasonably priced. We sat outside with cheers and groans regularly emanating from inside..and out as Steve is City fan.

Went in after work and had a nice pint of cold Guinness. Staff were very nice so I stayed for another. Definitely going Back.

Stopped over in Halifax for a night and decided to go to this pub. It was lively and had well priced drinks which is exactly what I look for. The bartender Kat was absolutely lovely, and I cannot fault the service. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area

Large town centre boozer with plenty choice in draught beers

This public house is mega,all the staff are very friendly, helpful and willing to go the exta mile.More of a local pub than a town centre pub plus a very good mix of customers who become friends in time.

We came in for Chelsea game on Saturday, well we got a whole more, we found rugby was on after then Joshua fight, what was a few drinks turned into a all day sports extravaganza, it was amazing, our new home for sports,-

The whole pub is kitted out with multiple screens so you will never miss a second of your match. Staff are warm and welcoming and the selection of ales and gin are fantastic.

Staff went the extra mile to ensure that we all had a good time. The pub itself is very cosy and clean.They have also got two huge screens outside which is great for people who nip for a quick ciggie or just prefer to sit in the open.

This is the only pub in the area where I feel comfortable coming in alone if I'm waiting for my husband. The staff are truly amazing - so funny, chatty and very knowledgeable about their products !! If there is a special sports thing on the big TV they totally throw themselves into the spirit - brilliant!!! lucy is charming - and she knows her wines and cocktails !!! Keep up the good work ladies !!!

heard about this place from a few friends who are regulars, and after visiting, i'm trusting their judgment more. Cosy pub, not expensive and exceptional value for money. the lasses behind the bar seemed to enjoy their job which made this visit even better. will be coming back when i'm next in halifax.

Service was some of the best, proffessional while still personal. Lovely ladies who couldn't have gone any further out of their way to help. Love the jukebox and the DJ is brill. Will defo be coming back!

I visited for the first time and was really impressed with the range of Ales, lagers and gins on offer. All at very reasonable prices!I watched the football with my friends and they have plenty screens so wherever you are in the pub you can see the match.We will definitely visit again.

I recently visited here and as usual i thought it was going to be a stressful experience having children with me, i was pleasantly surprised and the stress was taken away by the friendly staff and the whole experience. Staff were so polite, friendly and even interacted with my children and spoke to them like humans, asking them directly what they would like etc. Such a pleasure to be there! We will be back again! Many thanks and a massive shout out to all staff!! Amazing!!

Such a lovely, warm, friendly, welcoming pub. Have a great selection of real ales which rotate often. This is always a winner with my husband!! However, they also have one the best gin selections that I have see in a town center pub and this makes me happy too!Great friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Can't wait to be back soon!
