Nice friendly pub.old style decoration. Doesn't serve food only the usual crisps and nuts, etc. Does, however, have a free table of food cheese, pork pies,sausage rolls, cheese biscuits, pickles, and biscuits on a Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 4 pm. There are disabled toilets, wheelchair access, own car parking, or off-road parking. Log fire during the colder days and nights. Friendly bar staff. If you like cricket, there's an outside balcony overlooking rastrick cricket club where you can sit out and watch the matches with a pint and a packet of crisps Plenty of choice for drinks. Recently used the Rounhill for a family wake. The service was perfect - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cosy pub with plenty of room for our guests. The pub does not open until 3pm which made it a perfect spot to share memories privately before other customers arrived. A buffet was provided by Maggie which exceeded all expectations. The drinks are reasonably priced and the beer drinkers were highly impressed with the choices. Thank you

Fabulous friendly pub. Warm, clean, airy, now modernised with open fire in centre of room toilets new down stairs. Was at our friends funeral you couldn't ask for a nicer place food fabulous. Land lady and staff so welcoming will be back to visit when over from Driffield.

Just 10 mins walk from where I live and pretty local with great views plus calling in this place has great character about it plus really nice comfortable surroundings .The bar staff are very friendly plus professional it’s nice not having a juke box or any fruit machine s it gives it that home environment plus in winter time cracking fire place keeps the whole place warm with that nice smell

Wonderful friendly pub in which we found ourselves on a very wet day. The fire was roaring, the pub warm and friendly and the beer was perfect. Must mention the incredible new toilets! Seriously good facilities. A great pub to visit and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Spent NYE 2019 at The Roundhill inn surrounded by lovely people with a wide age range from 30s to 85, excellent beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks if you like. Very talented singer who had the place rocking. The food that Maggie and Kirsty prepared was delicious as usual. All staff were attentive and in great spirits. 10/10 well done guys you deserve a massive pat on the back. Special mention to Paul, Jill and Rick too thank you

Great place for a quiet pint of real ale

Held a staff training evening here at The Roundhill Inn, in the Maddocks bar. Very professional outfit, really tasty food, the quiche is the best! Beers are spot on only 1 problem with this pub... we never know when to come home!!! Really cosy friendly pub, the staff cant do enough for you, if your in the area be sure to pay them a visit.

A hidden gem! Passed this place so many times and quite glad I took the time to visit. Great staff and friendly locals make this a more than welcoming place. Lovely internal features and a cracking view to the back. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price....A deffo return visit is in order!

Went there in late March and very impressed. It has been recently extended to give more seating room, but our party really enjoyed the fine Yorkshire ales. Beware, once there it is very tempting to linger.

Move into the local area called for a drink last night. Was made to feel so uncomfortable that we left our drinks and went. Such a shame as it’s within walking distance

The Roundhill Inn hosted a funeral reception in the afternoon before opening to the public at 4pm. The staff were genuine, professional and helpful. A buffet of roast beef, turkey and a full poached salmon were really tasty and very fresh. Provided with homemade salads, pork pie and crisp green salad. A vegan guest was presented with a veggie curry, chilli and rice. Again, fresh, tasty and homemade and better than the usual cheese and pasta other places offer. The staff went the extra mile in every aspect of the event. The venue is clean, spacious and cosy. It is not an up market gastropub. Thank goodness. It is a little tired in the interior and outside but this doesn't detract from the wonderful hosting provided; great views across Yorkshire and a unique cricket field on the doorstep. The beer was outstanding, perfect temperature and served to perfection. Prosecco by the glass (mini bottles) and a selection of other wines by the glass from a bottle. Really impressed by this place. The local crowd appeared after 4pm when the venue opened to the public. Friendly and welcoming.

Round Hill is great. Must be one of the last solely drinking pubs left - no food, no loud music - just a place with lovely friendly staff, good beer and comfortable, clean pub where you can sit and talk... brilliant. And it's just being refurbished too...

The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and create a pleasant atmosphere. The pub itself is warm and comfortable with some good beer and wine choices. We were a group of around twenty and had the carved buffet which was of a high standard and well presented.The pub is clean and well maintained with exceptionally high quality toilets.

We had my Nannas funeral gathering food and drinks here. Very clean, tidy, professional and nice surroundings. Fire was on and place warm. Food good and beer great. Will be back but under better circumstances!

Recently updated toilets are a vast improvement as is the installation of a disabled one.The mainlounge has been extended & opened up with a central open fireplace.Always a warm welcome from hosts Maggie & Rick & a fabulous selection of beers. With better parking facilities would be a 5 stars rating.

Wow, I wish we had a pub like this near us. Very homey with some of the best kept beer you could wish for. Friendly owners and did I mention the beer? If you are not driving I highly recommend a visit.

Excellent little free house. Staff and customers try to get you involved. No unruly children, no smelly food, no bandits. A proper pub. Excellent beer with 2 regularly changed guests. Well worth a visit. Sunday afternoon free bread, pate and many cheeses.
