THE CORNER TURKİŞH GREEK in Calderdale

Outstanding food - if you’re a meat eater the lamb and chicken are beautifully cooked - the best food we’ve had since moving to Halifax 12 years ago. The style is more Mediterranean cafe than restaurant, informal and welcoming. The proprietors are always on hand making sure everything is up to their standards. We’ve been 3 times in the last month!

I have been several times, the food is excellent and authentic, the staff are friendly and efficient, The food is fresh and cooked to order, which may take some time, ( but if you need a quick meal get down the Mcdonalds) I think the atmosphere is friendly also you can take your own drink. Well worth a visit.

Visited Christmas Day with party of 9 for the Xmas set menu. Restaurant was set up very nicely, Christmas music playing and good atmosphere. All courses served on time, wine was flowing, coffee liquor and desserts were perfect. The owner and waitress could not do enough for us. Only thing is I ordered lamb and it could have been abit more seasoned. Everything else was fantastic. Third time coming here and would recommend :) x

The corner is a regular for us now. The food is amazing and great value for money. We get the 3 course menu and have been impressed every single time. Our 4 and 6 year old also love going. Would highly recommend for good quality authentic Turkish food.

Someone mentioned this restaurant, so as a treat for my granddaughter leaving junior school we came here. So glad we did, not too big, plenty staff, nice welcome, said sit where we wanted as it was 16.00, early, starter; 2 had feta and olives, 1 Greek sald, delicious. Then 2 had lamb and buckwheat plus salad, I had grilled salmon, salad and chips, plus the Turkish dip, cacik? It was all terrific, approx £20 each, well satisfied. We will come again; it was cash only for some reason.

The Corner is fabulous on all counts. The food and staff are fantastic, and it is a joy to go time and time again. Never had a bad meal there and have never had anything but excellent service. The atmosphere is always very friendly and every body is made to feel like a valued member of the Corner family. 10/10 to every one of you.

First time we have been, food fantastic and good value. Service excellent. Definitely going again. You can bring your own alcohol, they do a reasonable bottle of wine for £12.00

We've been here at least 6 times now and the food is always excellent. We've tried a few different options from the menu and it's always been excellent. If I had one gripe it's that it's cash only
