The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Stafford West Midlands

Amazing amount and variety of plants, an old fashioned garden centre in many ways, and so much better for that, had a coffee and sat in an area that was a sun trap, well it was today at least, an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

Visited this place on a trip back to the UK to see family and one family member recommended it and booked a table. The first disappointment came when we were not given the table she had asked for and a move to something more acceptable only came after a fair amount of insistence and very grudgingly, on the part of the waitress. Drinks were slow in coming and when they did arrive, one of our group was given tap water when she'd very clearly ordered soda water. There had been a short conversation with the gentleman who appeared to be 'head waiter' about my vegetarian Thai curry and yet I was brought a prawn curry. Obviously that was taken away and the rest of the party began their meals while they were hot. After five minutes, I went to the kitchen to request something simpler to prepare, so that by the time my dish was brought, I wouldn't be eating alone, but was assured that my curry would be with me in minutes. When I returned to the table, the rest of the party were already complaining about the overcooked battered fish....the one dish that had been the reason for recommending we eat there in the first place! This wasn't a weekend visit and not really over-busy, but we obviously chose a bad night. We certainly won't be going again, but what is even more important is that our family member, who recommended it and is local, probably won't be either.

Food is excellent. Tastes great and good portions. The staff were friendly and good humoured.

A truly magnificent experience not even the gods in their vast pantheons could ever conceive. A sublime symphony of decadent cuisine and aristocratic esque customer service. Food arrives at speeds faster than Hermes could ever attain. Eyes water at the divine presence of such lovingly crafted food, and the nasal caverns erupt with excitement at the captivating aroma of fresh coffee. Customer service is an understatement. Even the most distinguished butlers whom are polished at their trade, serving the hollow hearts of our monarchy would fall to their knees in desperation of the magnitude and proficiency at which the staff nay, the elite beings reduced humbly to such a title, bring happiness and pure, unbridled joy to us peasants. A magnum opus of the restaurant/ coffee shop trade.

Garden and wildlife center - great. People with prams not made to feel welcome in the cafe by some of the staff.

Overpriced warm food and not much of it, very hungry when finished. Come on guys you need a new chef. Empty when we walked in, waited a good while for food. I know prices have gone up and I don't mind paying for quality food but £24 for for a few pieces of lamb squashed on top of slushy sweet potato and a teeny bit of salad. Really!! Although young waitress was very pleasant. Won't be going again.

Went in for 2 coffees and a cake, cake delivered after 35 mins the 2 coffees at 38 mins. Not the staff fault, only a cook and barister on duty and both had to stop to do waiter service. No excuse on Saturday morning Cake was good, staff were pleasant After us people were advised 45 mins for food and 30 minutes for drinks. Many left

Food is just about passable for microwave food. The whole restaurant was complaining about wait times, and the service was pretty awful. Steak baguette had barely any filling. Definitely stay clear!

Extremely poor customer service experience.

Sorry guys but this was disappointing. Visited on a Saturday morning to meet up with friends. It took ages for orders to be taken, they took ages to arrive and then were not correct ….. and please tell me why drinks are in disposable cups when drinking IN the cafe..? Staff were all lovely and were clearly working hard but either staff numbers too few or organisation problem I am sure you can get it better with a few tweaks

Excellent pub we had a leaving / 21st party here the landlady was Excellent credit to this pub she was so helpful and polite had a great evening in there thank to all the staff

We booked in advance, we were a party of 8. We are pre-ordered Sunday lunches and a couple of burgers! Service was fantastic, food was great, Atmosphere really relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you No3

Not keen on the poached eggs undercooked.cappochno asked for no chocolate sprinkles and was given then ruined it

Consistently tasteless watery coffee. This is what’s being passed as a latte. Disappointing.

quirky little bar with a nice mix of alternative drinks rather than the usual chain bars. juke box is good and there are always some fun loving locals to sing along with drunkenly. worth a visit
