Amazing amount and variety of plants, an old fashioned garden centre in many ways, and so much better for that, had a coffee and sat in an area that was a sun trap, well it was today at least, an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

This coffee & cake shop comprises of a few rusty chairs & tables placed outdoors on a piece of gravel. The coffee is served in single use cardboard cups & the cake on cardboard plates. The coffee was undrinkable & the cake inedible. A real disappointment.

Had a lovely wander through the plants & flowers getting good advice and ideas for my purchases. Finished off with an excellent coffee and cake. Well worth a visit if only for coffee and cake.

The lemon cake was delicious and it’s a lovely place to sit a enjoy the fresh air. It was a clean and safe environment well worth a visit after strolling round the garden centre.

I wanted to do something special for my parent's and so I organised an afternoon tea for them. Well I couldn't have asked for anything better and they were looked after tremendously, with fabulous food, atmosphere and 1st class customer service. Beautiful sandwiches, savouries, cakes, scones and plenty of tea and they thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Highly recommended for anybody wanting to be pampered.

Newport Road WoodseavesSadly our visit tonight not too good. Probably because they were so busy, we waited around 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meals after our orders were taken, had to chase a missing drink and the dessert menu never did turn up after asking for it. So we decided to forget it and asked for the bill instead which was provided. But then we were forgotten about and no-one returned with a card reader so I paid at the bar on the way out. Perhaps small niggles on their own but collectively a dissappointing experience compared with many previous visits here. I hope next time doesn't go the same way.

16 High StreetThis is my favourite pub in Eccleshall. Beer is by far the best, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are friendly. What more could you want?
