White’s Coffee Bar is a small, charming coffee shop that exceeds expectations. The coffee is amazing, and they offer a delightful variety of cakes and meals. I especially recommend their breakfast—it’s my personal favorite. The staff is attentive and always makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. It’s the perfect spot to meet friends or take a relaxing break. Highly recommended!

Review of White’s Café Now, White’s Café. What a marvellous little place. For a start, they might very well be the only café for miles around that actually knows how to make a proper flat white. Not some watery, frothy mess that you’d get from a vending machine in a motorway services, but the real deal—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. The ambiance? Spot on. It’s got that perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. You can sit down, have a bit of a think, read a newspaper (if you can find one these days), or just stare out the window pondering life’s big questions. You won’t want to leave, frankly. The staff are excellent—properly excellent. Friendly, but not in a “Hi guys, what can I getcha today?” sort of way. They’re attentive, they know what they’re doing, and they don’t hover about like helicopters. Perfectly judged service. And the food. Oh, the food. It’s proper. Tasty, satisfying, and clearly made with some thought behind it. None of that nonsense where they stack everything in a tower and drizzle it with some unidentifiable jus. Just good, honest, top-quality food. In short, White’s Café is the sort of place you wish every café could be. If you’re anywhere near it, go. You’ll thank me later.

Had another lovely breakfast here on Christmas eve eve(Monday). Everything was excellent as usual, and nicely presented. Staff very efficient and friendly. Would recommend.

We arrived at 11am and we were told that we had to sit outside as all the indoor tables were booked. It was freezing and the outdoor drafty plastic shelter initially had 4 patio heaters turned on. We ordered hot drinks and said we would like to order lunch when available. We finally left at 12.20pm. We weren’t offered a lunch menu. During our visit, we counted that SIX tables remained unoccupied throughout the whole time. They also turned off 3 of the patio heaters - I suppose because we only had drinks, not food. They were certainly not friendly and very unhelpful. We eventually had lunch in a nearby warm pub. My recommendation - avoid - terrible attitude. Most places would let you sit at a table and let you know when they needed it back.

We came for lunch to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday and they came out with a cake and candle, really unexpected but very sweet, food outstanding and wine recommendation was perfect.

Visited with a friend and dogs. Server said dogs are not allowed inside. You will have to sit outside. Every other time I've visited, I have sat inside with my dog or seen dogs in there but thought there may have been a change in policy since my last visit. While looking at the menus, a couple came out with a dog! We left and won't be returning. I guess it was a case of if face fits!

I had previously been with friends but only for a snack and coffee. The menu is not extensive but offers a selection of different types of choice. We selected the Beef Ragu -excellent, The beef was brisket and cooked perfectly. Cappuchino if being pernickety was too milky for both of us so Americano next time. Unusually for us we were tempted by the cakes and the Fruit cake was both moist and packed with fruit. Definitely will visit again

Myself and 3 sisters took our Mom for lunch as a bit of a treat following the recent death of our Dad. It was such a delightful afternoon with fantastic food and very professional & polite staff. Will definitely be repeating the experience in the near future. Was excellent

Food and service lovely. Music was TOO LOUD. We asked for it to he turned down but it wasn't. There was only us (old fogies) in there so ypu could have turned it down without upsetting anyone.

First time visiting this place. Nice gingerbread latè's. Full English was delicious with all good quality meats etc and the pancakes with bacon, egg and maple syrup was naughty. Definitely recommend 👌

Easy to book and never a watsed journey.

Visited with a friend for lunch. Easy to reserve a table on line. We both had the fish and chips which were delicious. Will definitely be re visiting.

I have been here twice in the past few weeks... absolutely nothing negative to say (and I do look for negatives). Very much looking forward to next visit.

Pretty on par with when we've been before. The food is excellent. I'd give five stars if there had been more variety on the lunch menu. Overall pleasing experience.

Walking in we were met with a lovely smile and greeting and shown to our table we were having breakfast but we didn't have long to wait for our food which surprised us because they were very busy, the food itself was the best iv had in a long time

What a charming venue for a lovely lunch.

Lovely finish to our walk at Cannock Chase. We arrived about 15 minutes late but thankfully our table was still saved for us & the dogs. Everyone was very friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back, thank you :-)

We had our first visit today, based on the great reviews. Arrived for lunch, waited 20 mins and asked the waitress to come to us next, as they appeared busy...she said yes of course, then never came, so we left, very disappointed 😞

For anyone seeking an authentic and cozy breakfast in the UK countryside, The Whites Café is a must-visit.

The menu choices were all very good,i had the prawn and crayfish soda bread with apple salad and a side of truffle and parmesan fries which were all delicious and full of flavour. The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients which means all the food is of really high quality and came beautifully presented. Would highly recommend a visit.

A really nice atmosphere with good food. The only negative, is that sometimes the young girls who work here have to be given a nudge for attention to get them off their phones when the manager is out... however, mostly they are polite enough and efficient.

Appalling attitude when it comes to food allergies. Rude and couldn't be bothered to even try to provide some safe food. Very unusual to find this anymore, most food vendors are kind, empathetic and do their best, but not this place.

We have been a few times recently, our new favourite place😊. Service has always been friendly & efficient, so many nice sounding dishes on the menu-& the fab specials -it was difficult to choose. The food was really good & all the dishes passing us looked yummy too. Value for money prices, a reasonable wine list & a great Platter available makes Whites a must visit.

Fantastic food and cake, can't fault it and it's a delight to go.

From the minute we arrived staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, this was a surprise for my mums 50th and the service was impeccable. All staff made an effort to wish my mum happy birthday and they even brought her a rocky road slice with a candle and sung happy birthday. Absolutely outstanding food and service and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much!

Lovely food. Took a couple of friends and they thought it was really nice!

So I booked online which did not mention where we would like to be seated. When we arrived we were told we had to sit outside. My daughter is autistic and doesn’t like eating outside, but after approaching staff about it they said there was no alternative. So we were taken to a table, next to us was a large family and they were very loud, making it hard to even converse with one another. Then the food arrived. Two out of three meals were OK but nothing special considering the price we had paid. The third meal was prawns and crayfish in seafood sauce on ciabatta. There was probably a teaspoon or two of seafood sauce on the fish which made it very dry. Then…. The toilet….., one toilet to be shared between men women and baby change….. for the price paid for the meal this in my opinion is totally unacceptable especially considering the number of people that whites holds. Have been a few times before and always enjoyed the food but very disappointed this time round

Booked a table for Breakfast to celebrate my Birthday. It was the first time that my hubby an I had been there. From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, my hubby enjoyed his so much he finished before me. You really need to visit.

Amazing breakfast today. First time visiting for hubby. He said it was the best full English breakfast he’d ever had. I had the savoury stack pancakes - delicious. Really good coffee too. Very helpful and friendly staff- Highly recommended

As I’m wheat intolerant the first two choices weren’t suitable so had my third choice which was very enjoyable, However I would prefer to have more choice to be perfectly honest. My husband enjoyed his burger very much.

Choice of food a bit limited, but what we had was nice.

Perfect place for a brunch, me and my sister hadn’t realised that breakfast finished at midday and we got there shortly after this time. However the lovely owner went out of his way to speak to us and cleared it with the kitchen to allow us to order brunch. All the food we order was delicious, lovely setting and super helpful staff. Would highly recommend this place

We had booked a table at 2pm so was quieter than previous visits which was quite nice particularly as we had our Ridgeback dog with us so he could spread out easily. The service was excellent and prompt and Leo he dog was given sausage as a treat which was a lovely gesture. The food is quite incredible particularly given the price. In Lichfield you would pay double. The Katsu Curry is one of the best I have ever tasted and my husband ordered the Grazing Platter which was so plentiful full of different flavours and with the skin on fries tipped him over the edge so no room for dessert sadly. Great place and the best food. Highly recommend
