Whites Coffee Shop in Stafford

We waited a while to have our order taken and then there was an issue with the system apparently which meant our order didn’t go through. We waited 50 minutes for food in the end but the staff were really apologetic and did take off some bits of the bill as a sorry so that was appreciated. We’ve been several times to whites but this time it felt chaotic and not as attentive

There were four of us for lunch, and as the weather was good we were able to swap our reserved indoor table for one outside. The food was nice, although I thought the fish on the fishnchips was on the small side. We weren’t asked if any further drinks/desserts were required.

Today was my first time visiting a restaurant. The staff was very good, polite, and introduced the menu in detail with a smile, we ordered the burger and weekly specials, which was a good value for money. We will come again.

Best breakfast I've had in ages. Really good service, very friendly, nice little cafe. On the pricier side but worth it.

Realy enjoyed my breakfast of hash browns, bacon bits, garlic sauce . You can sit outside in the open or under cover or inside the lovely modern cafe.

Very poor vegan choice. I'd picked it as the menu i'd seen had more choice. It must have been an old one. I had the breakfast and the mushrooms, tomato and toast were burnt. My friend's toast for her club sandwich was burnt. The cherry blossom iced tea was very over priced & too warm, despite the ice. I understand it was the chef's first day so hopefully a settling in issue but we won't be coming again.

I like coming here for breakfast but didn't feel very welcome on my last visit..also asked for extra syrup for my pancakes and this was forgotton 🤷‍♀️..hopefully my next visit will be better

Another lovely breakfast! No matter when we come there are always customers which gives the place a lovely buzz. Staff are so friendly, love it here!

Limited menu especially for a veggie. Food was really nice and tasty but drink over priced and ice tea was shockingly poor…soda water with flavourless syrup for just shy of £5 never again!

Nice place, cosy. Great staff, run off their feet as it was so busy for Sunday morning breakfast but they were all very kind. The food was great. My colleagues recommended Whites and it did not disappoint.

Just Wow!! Had booked online for breakfast today. Walked in to be greeted by 2 of the most welcoming, friendly, beaming, happy faces and given an amazing warm welcome. Taken to our table and seated, immediately handed menus and very soon followed by the offer to take our orders. We both elected the Full English breakfast option, together with coffees. The food was incredible, freshly cooked, high quality and ample. Warm, friendly, attentive service throughout. We both agreed that if we had to rate our food out of 10, then it would be a 10. Likewise, the welcome, the service and the goodbye. Coffee was quality too and surpassed our previous favourite. Outstanding place, people and food. Thanks so much Whites, will be seeing you again very soon after todays experience.

Enjoyable Sunday breakfast catch up with friends. Food excellent, service friendly.

Called in today at 1pm with my elderly mother. We could see an empty table but on entering were asked if we had booked which we hadn't so we were told to wait by the door. After being ignored and waiting over 5 minutes we decided to go elsewhere.

Every time I've been to White's, the food and service have been really good.

Without a doubt, the nicest and tastiest breakfast I have had in quite some time. I would certainly go back and recommend to others.

We were in Newport Shropshire on Friday 31st Jan and came for a coffee to Whites and this poster was on your wall! I took a picture in Newport of the building in the poster!

This place was a lovely. Set on shooting grounds, the cafe followed the same theme and had a lovely atmosphere including a log fire. The quality of the coffee and food was exceptional and well worth the money.

Two cyclists fresh from a couple of hours over Cannock Chase, on a freezing day, turned up looking for a warm welcome. I said straight away I'd sit on my inside out coat to keep the mud off the furniture, but no, that wasn't enough. We could sit outside in the tent. Another 35 minutes bracing uphill pedalling (fuelled by discussing concepts like welcome and hospitality) took us to a splendid warm welcoming Springslade Lodge where we sat by the stove and ate an excellent lunch with a double espresso (on our inside out coats without being asked) surrounded by other happy cyclists and walkers.

Seated very quickly as we had made a reservation in advance but then fell apart a bit, it took 15 minutes before anyone came back to ask if we would like drinks 20 minutes more to take the order for food and after waiting 40 minutes had passed a server then popped to ask to make sure one of that the asked toppings for the pancakes were correct. We left at 11:59 after arriving at 10:15 for reservation for 10:30. The food was great though slow to arrive main suggestion I would make is ask as the customer as being seated if they would like anything to drink we genuinely felt we were forgotten about which is a shame. Though not enough to deter from coming again and hope it was a one off as the food as I said before was excellent.

White’s Coffee Bar is a small, charming coffee shop that exceeds expectations. The coffee is amazing, and they offer a delightful variety of cakes and meals. I especially recommend their breakfast—it’s my personal favorite. The staff is attentive and always makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. Review of White’s Café Now, White’s Café. What a marvellous little place. For a start, they might very well be the only café for miles around that actually knows how to make a proper flat white. Not some watery, frothy mess that you’d get from a vending machine in a motorway services, but the real deal—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. The ambiance? Spot on. It’s got that perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. You can sit down, have a bit of a think, read a newspaper (if you can find one these days), or just stare out the window pondering life’s big questions. You won’t want to leave, frankly. The staff are excellent—properly excellent. Friendly, but not in a “Hi guys, what can I getcha today?” sort of way. They’re attentive, they know what they’re doing, and they don’t hover about like helicopters. Perfectly judged service. And the food. Oh, the food. It’s proper. Tasty, satisfying, and clearly made with some thought behind it. None of that nonsense where they stack everything in a tower and drizzle it with some unidentifiable jus. Just good, honest, top-quality food. In short, White’s Café is the sort of place you wish every café could be. If you’re anywhere near it, go. You’ll thank me later.

We arrived at 11am and we were told that we had to sit outside as all the indoor tables were booked. It was freezing and the outdoor drafty plastic shelter initially had 4 patio heaters turned on. We ordered hot drinks and said we would like to order lunch when available. We finally left at 12.20pm. We weren’t offered a lunch menu. During our visit, we counted that SIX tables remained unoccupied throughout the whole time. They also turned off 3 of the patio heaters - I suppose because we only had drinks, not food. They were certainly not friendly and very unhelpful. We eventually had lunch in a nearby warm pub. My recommendation - avoid - terrible attitude. Most places would let you sit at a table and let you know when they needed it back.

We came for lunch to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday and they came out with a cake and candle, really unexpected but very sweet, food outstanding and wine recommendation was perfect.

I had previously been with friends but only for a snack and coffee. The menu is not extensive but offers a selection of different types of choice. We selected the Beef Ragu -excellent, The beef was brisket and cooked perfectly. Cappuchino if being pernickety was too milky for both of us so Americano next time. Unusually for us we were tempted by the cakes and the Fruit cake was both moist and packed with fruit. Definitely will visit again

Visited with a friend and dogs. Server said dogs are not allowed inside. You will have to sit outside. Every other time I've visited, I have sat inside with my dog or seen dogs in there but thought there may have been a change in policy since my last visit. While looking at the menus, a couple came out with a dog! We left and won't be returning. I guess it was a case of if face fits!

Myself and 3 sisters took our Mom for lunch as a bit of a treat following the recent death of our Dad. It was such a delightful afternoon with fantastic food and very professional & polite staff. Will definitely be repeating the experience in the near future. Was excellent

Food and service lovely. Music was TOO LOUD. We asked for it to he turned down but it wasn't. There was only us (old fogies) in there so ypu could have turned it down without upsetting anyone.

First time visiting this place. Nice gingerbread latè's. Full English was delicious with all good quality meats etc and the pancakes with bacon, egg and maple syrup was naughty. Definitely recommend 👌

Easy to book and never a watsed journey.

Visited with a friend for lunch. Easy to reserve a table on line. We both had the fish and chips which were delicious. Will definitely be re visiting.

Pretty on par with when we've been before. The food is excellent. I'd give five stars if there had been more variety on the lunch menu. Overall pleasing experience.
