The best dining experience in the Stafford area! Been here countless times and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is top tier and the service is even better. Could not recommend anywhere more (I don’t even leave reviews!) I have had multiple experiences as a couple and with friends and family, each time there has not been a fault. I am from Northern Ireland and my family talk about this place regularly!

Andy and Phil provided a Cocktail masterclass for some clients at the hotel and it was an amazing addition to their stay. Fully interactive, fun, informative and a great team building experience. The Roos Team arrived promptly, brought all their own equipment and left the function room as they found it. Would highly recommend to both individuals and other businesses and we will certainly be looking to work with them again. Thank you Team Roos!!!!

Roos is not just a cocktail bar they also produce fantastic fresh food. We chose tapas, cod, octopus, meatballs, to name just three. All completely different flavours that we felt as though we were in three different countries, such was the range. The staff are just great. Replenishing our empty glasses, checking if all was ok, but never obtrusive Also we’ve seen many a cocktail bar come & go in Stone, but there is a reason that Andy & the team are still here!

Like to try out different places when we’re in the area visiting family, and this was a great one. We mainly went for the cocktails as the food menu online was pretty standard; but was pleasantly surprised by the new tapas menu when we arrived. The cocktails were ridiculously good, and the bartenders were willing to customise drinks too which was a big plus. Didn’t really understand the vibe they were going for, and the toilets were THE most shoehorned thing I’ve ever seen. But the food made it all worth it, hope they let the chef keep experimenting so we can be surprised again next time.

We were looked after during both our trips to Roos. Phil and the rest of the bar staff made sure we always had a drink and that we were comfortable during our stay. The service is top tier and it matches the ambiance of the bar. No trip to Stone would be worth it without a trip to Roos.

Went here on Tuesday evening for some food and when we got there it was 2 for 1 on the cocktails which was a bonus.. There was only one other table of people in so not too busy, we both ordered food. I had the risotto and the broccoli dish from the tapas menu and my other half had a spicy chicken dish and a garlic and cheese bread..the food was amazing, everything was spot on 👌. The presentation, taste, portion size, flavour and quality of the food was faultless. We spoke to the owner and there was another guy there (Sorry hopeless with names) and they were really great to speak to. We felt really welcome, the decor and ambience was perfect and the cocktails really strong and tasty. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return. Thanks guys for a great evening. 👍 we couldn't fault a thing.

i went here a few nights ago with some friends, we was all so impressed by the food and the lovely customer service we received! all the staff was so warm and welcoming, they have excellent cocktails would highly recommend the nicest long island ice tea! all the food was exceptional. they have a lovely tapas menu which is great for either starters or pick and mix food. i really enjoyed my experience will definitely be going back soon!

Enjoyed a beautiful meal here last night. Tapas options were perfect. I would recommend the beef crostini, salmon, venison carpaccio and pizza are all delicious. The server (Lucy) I believe was fantastic and dealt with everything we asked. Would definitely return and highly recommended.

Booked a table in advance which was free for us when arrived. Ordered drink which took a little while to come. This part not the bars fault but 4 incredibly drunk girls spoilt the atmosphere n the bar. The bar man did ask them to leave after they started dancing. And almost took a table out. Food we ordered was a classic pizza (margarita) pizza and fries and a seared beef crostini. Pizza was ok, fries were nice. Beef crostini was horrendous. Impossible to cut as too tough. Waitress asked how the food was and we showed her the beef. Bar man came over and asked if we wanted it replaced, or a new meal. My wife was out of by the beef so declined and requested it be removed from the bill which they did. Would not return for food but a nice enough place for a drink.

We had a few drinks on NYE in Roo's, Salt IPA was bang on and the service excellent.

The new menu wow! If you like octopus, it's a must delicious, if you don't then the beef tacos, the slat and pepper chicken!! A must to try! Don't miss it it's a real treat, we haven't even got onto the main courses we are eating our way round the small plates. Highly recommended.

Terrible customer service and awful staff attitude. Owner could not care less about the experience for the customers. When asking about waiting time at the bar (after friends serviced beforehand) the owner argued. Actually just left and went somewhere else, money better spent elsewhere. Maybe a so call ‘Trendy’ place to go but not if you want to be treated with customer respect. I mean the owners the own words ‘have you got a sign over your head saying service me!’

Everyone needs a birthday party here!!!!! Andy and his team went above and beyond to make sure my fiancé had the most amazing 30th birthday party and it was exactly that! Nothing was too much to ask and his staff were really friendly with great customer service! The food was incredible and the cocktails were great! It was an amazing space and exactly what we wanted for the party! We are both still on cloud nine and we can’t wait to book again for a great party!!

Absolutely delicious/fresh street food at its best. A feast for the eyes as well as the tongue. Everything was perfection and we tried A LOT of the dishes. Photos don’t do it justice. Our attendant was perfect and knew all the dishes and cocktails when we asked.

Loved it here at Roo's. Visited with friends for a meal. Lovely food, the small plates are fantastic for sharing. The cocktails are also fabulous with a wide selection. Reasonably priced too. The decor was nice and the staff were great. In the centre of stone so parking nearby in council car parks. One just behind which is only £1 in the evenings.

Very bad experience at Roos. Booked table at 19.30 got put by the bar and was so over crowded I got two drinks spilt on me by people who were walking around the bar. We booked our table til 21.30 at 20.15 a bar tender asked if he could use one of our chairs which we were using as they had another reservation this was before our food had even arrived! I was really looking forward to my booking but sadly won’t be returning

Great addition to a night out, freshly made cocktails of your choice in a fancy glass or extravagant chalice. Also a decent pint of that's your tipple. Plenty to choose from and good menu showing the ingredients so you can select you favorite spirit then get the taste with all the additions you like. The toilets are tiny and prices are not cheap but definitely worth a visit.

Great little cocktail bar, good menu, burgers and tapas steaks etc.. well cooked , good service, tasty food, my only gripe is the music is so loud you cant have a proper conversation ( iam 43 ) so that might be why, other than that highly recommended for a younger crowd, not for me though.

Lovely meal gorgeous cocktails but it was so cold and drafty in the bar area. Asked for air con to be altered but it made no difference at all as I think it was the entrance door causing the chill

Our group of four went to Roo's a couple of weeks back and were bowled over with the quality of the drinks, food, and the attentiveness of the staff. Everybody was friendly without being patronising or too in your face, we had a great laugh with them and our drinks were out of this world. The food was outstanding too - give their hottest hot sauce a try. It's very very hot, but without going over the edge into inedible - very tasty! Thanks again to everyone there at Roo's! We had a blast!

Went there with friends . Service attentive, nothing negative on that front . The food was ok , albeit bland for one, thought it was a bit pricey for what it was . I had the brie tartlets and for £6.50 , was expecting something bigger. Then had the roos burger . Nice but a bit bland and thought that for £12, I d get something tastier . Extra Mayo really tastless. Never thought I d say that but went to kfc on the way back . No puddings served ( at the moment I suppose ) . All in all : nice staff, food ok but nothing to scream about .cocktail : I had a mojito and that was good. So to sum up : I'd go back there for a drink but not for the food .

Excellent food. Excellent drinks.HOWEVER Covid- the staff member who served us was not wearing her mask over her nose, no temperature was taken at the door even the Pugh there was a thermometer, lots of people at the bar not wearing masks, no one was wearing masks walking around AND a man was coughing constantly at the bar without wearing a mask.I left feeling very uncomfortable and praying that nobody had Covid. I’m trying not to let the anxiety ruin the rest of my night.

Lovely courtyard but cheapened by tv’s and blatant disregard of covid rules with allowing 12 to a table. Chavvy feel to the place, one drink is enough, won’t be returning

Roo's is a bit of a rare treat for us as we're not that local. Every time we've been, the food and cocktails have been consistently excellent. The team are friendly and knowledgeable. We've just visited for the first time since after lockdown and they are taking Covid very seriously here, which is reassuring. Ignore the idiotic reviews about pricing - you get what you pay for with cocktails - the liquors and ingredients used here are top quality.

Simple well cooked food--, bar staff are so attentive - we felt we were in the Ritz. I mucked up my order, but they didn't mind and cooked something else, no problem. A big Big thanks - nice atmosphere and sound - Gr8 cocktails - give it a go!

Had an absolutely fabulous night with the guys from Roos last night. They set up a mobile cocktail bar in our garden for a socially distanced birthday cocktail party. All the ladies had a brilliant time, and enjoyed the gorgeous cocktails prepared by Tim who was amazing and very patient with us all. Everything was done right in this difficult situation. Can highly recommend Roos cocktail bar.

I have visited Roo’s on a number of occasions with my family and I highly recommend to everyone.Their menu is extensive and covers all requirements, I normally go for the small plate options which are delicious and well presented. I have not sampled the cocktails but from my family’s experiences are the best around. This is all topped off nicely with the expert and friendly staff.

Try the Long Island ice tea. You'll thank me

I've been coming to Roo's since it opened and it's always maintained a high standard for both the cocktails and the food. The staff are really friendly and chatty and a real asset to the place. Great atmosphere. Can't fault it at all, highly recommend Roo's whether it's for food or drinks...or both!

I went here for an evening meal with family and my 6 month old recently. The staff were so accommodating and friendly especially with my daughter. There was a great atmosphere, the service quick and efficient and the food was amazing! Will definitely be returning.

We visited Roos as two couples. The place has a fab vibe and all of the staff were friendly, chatty and really helpful. We had a range of cocktails between us and all of them were delicious, well made and nicely presented. (The mojitos & twisted mojitos were some of the best we've ever had - & we have had them in loads of places!). The food was also delicious - a really good selection on the menu for everyone, including me as a vegetarian. My friend is gluten intolerant & was happy to find that there was a separate gluten free menu with plenty of choice - which we've found to be a rare occurance when we've previously eaten out. We will definitely return to Roos in future!

Yeah nice drinks and good atmosphere

This was our first visit to Roos and how I wish we had been before! The first thing you notice is the warm welcome and atmosphere which sets you in the right frame of mind.The bar cocktails and friendly service was outstanding, had the best mojito in a long time.After sitting down the great service continued, the selection of food is very good and we opted for a variety of the small plate dishes! The quality and portion sizes were tremendous providing great value for money.I can't recommend this place highly enough and we shall certainly be returning!

Came here for my birthday with a few friends last night. Service was brilliant, had booked a table last minute for 8 people with no qualms on a busy Friday night. Bartenders were attentive and I can't speak highly enough! Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, keep doing what you're doing guys!

The food was amazing, service was attentive, polite but not over the top, and wow the cocktails were great.

Came in on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago. The DJ was playing good music, really great atmosphere. Told Jacob behind the bar that I like my whiskey sours extra sharp, and he provided the goods.

Normally the food is amazing and I really love coming. However my friends pizza was really brunt we did say somthing but nothing was really done about it. However this was a one off and I am looking forward to coming again!!

Nice drinks - cheap Ameretto though. It’s a shame this bar is still using plastic straws - the time taken for staff to cut the straws lengthways at the end of shift is unmanageable - please use paper straws going forward

We have been to Roo's for a meal twice in the last two months with two different sets of friends. The food was so good on the first occasion that we decided to return. I even had the same dish of halloumi Greek skewer salad with triple cooked chips which was extremely tasty on both occasions. Everyone enjoyed their meals in fact. However, it was fortunate that the only table with proper chairs (as opposed to high chairs) was available as my friend is unable to sit on a high chair. On both occasions, we were not offered anuly starters and on the second occasion, we were given the dessert menu and then when our order was taken, we were told that the kitchen had closed! The worst thing, however, is the noise in the place once it gets busy. It's not conjusive to a relaxing and pleasant meal with friends. It seems to me that the main priority of the place is serving alcohol which is a great shame as the food is of a good standard.

Back at Roo's again last night, another great evening. Roo and his team create a friendly chilled atmosphere. The Old Fashioned is great and my wife loves the Mojito. Will be back again soon.

Really positive, attentive staff and the whole place has a great vibe. Excellent cocktails, excellent furnishings and overall a 5 star rating!

After drinking half of my drink I noticed a crack in my class. I told a member of staff and they told the manager, who replaced the drink and gave us a free shot for our inconvenience, which was a nice touch.

Visited with family Friday lunchtime. The food was gorgeous. We had antipasto and 3 of the small dishes, all were very tasty. The barman made a mocktail which was beautiful. Service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Excellent chef.

I have been into Roo’s several times for drinks but never for food. We were not disappointed!

Myself, my partner and four of our friends visited Roo’s to celebrate my 21st birthday. I had previously visited the venue and had a fantastic time with my partner! This time was even better than before! The drink and the food was stunning, the atmosphere was great and the service was amazing! Honestly couldn’t fault anything about the place! Perfect for any type of celebration or occasion! Will be coming back a lot this new year!

Very ‘cool’ atmosphere and ambience going on. Quite a small menu but the food we chose was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I did panic slightly when the DJ set up right next to our table, but the volume wasn’t actually too bad. Only real complaint would be that there is literally only one toilet and so the queue was huge!

We loved the cocktails, but paying £8-9 for just a single drink was really dissapointing. May come back in the future but not in a hurry
