No 3 Cafe Bar & Restaurant in Stafford

We booked in advance, we were a party of 8. We are pre-ordered Sunday lunches and a couple of burgers! Service was fantastic, food was great, Atmosphere really relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you No3

Myself and friends went out for our annual dinner as we always do every Christmas and we decided to come here as we have been here for breakfast and loved it! Unfortunately this wasn’t the case for us last night, the food was good, the veg was very hard, almost raw, and there was hardly any cheese on the nachos. The service, on the other hand, wasn’t good at all. We arrived at 19:30 and waited 20 minutes to receive our drinks order request, then another 20 minutes to order our food. We waited around 20 mins for our sharer starter of plain nachos, baring in mind there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. No check backs, we had to go up to the bar to get our drinks re-filled as we couldn’t get anyone’s attention. When the cast from the Gatehouse walked in they focused their services to them and seemed to have forgotten about the customers that had been eating, no desert menu was offered and we could have easily walked out without paying. I went to the bar waited another 15 minutes being ignored and eventually paid the bill. Awful shocking service. We won’t be coming here again for meal.

Lovely atmosphere in a historic building. Children had ‘more interesting than usual’ burgers and the adults excellent Ploughman’s lunches.

Great food, wonderful staff, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend. Good selection of wines, beers and gins.
