Really nice place for family to get together Food is really nice tasty staff very helpful x We were sitting by two doors I'd booked quite late and the lovely manager moved us to a much bigger table nothing was too much trouble 😀 great place my son is autistic also

A little disappointed by my breakfast after reading good reviews. Skinny latte didn’t taste of coffee at all - just very creamy. Bacon roll was a toasted (why not fresh and soft?) roll of plenty of crispy streaky bacon (glistening with oil) served, incomprehensively, with a side of salted crisps. Who wants crisps with a streaky bacon roll? The pavement table sloped and rocked about so the latte slid across the table when I tried to cut the roll. The people were very nice and it looks cute inside - cakes look good. I just didn’t like the food at all. And that table needs sorting.

Beautiful pint selection with an entire digital board displaying such. They host board game nights, have good atmosphere interchange the drinks and flavours they have, friendly staff. Good smoking area, there is also two floors in the pub, quite a few steps including the entrance, toilets upstairs, so unsure if this is accessible to anyone unable to use such.

Not eaten here but no reason to believe it is anything but excellent

Cracking relaxed country pub with lovely food!

Lovely place, very reasonably priced. Food was fine but not fancy or homemade that I could tell. People were nice. Very local however which might be off putting for some.

Sadly our visit tonight not too good. Probably because they were so busy, we waited around 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meals after our orders were taken, had to chase a missing drink and the dessert menu never did turn up after asking for it. So we decided to forget it and asked for the bill instead which was provided. But then we were forgotten about and no-one returned with a card reader so I paid at the bar on the way out. Perhaps small niggles on their own but collectively a dissappointing experience compared with many previous visits here. I hope next time doesn't go the same way.

Called in with the family. Greeted by the friendly staff (found out was the landlord) Lovely evening, sat outside in a heated pod. Lovely garden with swings for the kids. Menu was big enough for plenty of choice. Had pie,a proper pie! Fish and chips, steak and chicken nuggets for the boy. Well worth a visit and will be back very soon!

Fabulous. Wonderful food; great atmosphere; excellent service. The fish dishes were beautifully prepared and everything cooked to perfection.

Great atmosphere with live music in the garden and plenty of people enjoying the day. Bar staff were excellent.

CAMRA’s current national pub of the year ~ a real varied mix of cask ales on sale at competitive prices which is always good to find. Look out for the Tap Take Overs which will be advertised on the Untappd beer app.

Love this place!! A hidden gem- I did not know what I walking into but the vibe, the music is everything! If you wanna hang with your friends with a good pint of beer- this place is it!
