Samson blewitt pub in Cannock Chase

We went to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday, I booked for 20 people but 2 didn't come, no problem. Anyway 18 of us picked what we wanted to eat, we didn’t wait too long then ALL 18 meals came out, everyone of them was hot, served properly, the people who ordered steaks had them cooked exactly as they had asked, nothing was too much trouble everything we asked for we got. Some of our friends were in awe of the quality and the service we had last night, we know the pub will have gained some more customers because of it. To finish I personally want to say a great big thank you to all the staff on duty last night for the way they helped me to celebrate my husband’s birthday. A very grateful customer Rosalyn

Our third visit and yet again it didn’t disappoint! Our friends could not believe how good the steaks were (we had tried to tell them) £65 for four including drinks and desserts (30% off mains with voucher) we have paid twice this in other places and the quality hasn’t been nearly as good

Celebrating my wife’s birthday at the Samson Blewitt. Excellent service, staff very friendly and polite. My wife had the 8 oz Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection. I had the Mega Mixed Grill which again was remarkably. Definitely the best food being serviced in the area. Will be seeing you soon 👍👍

Got Served my Shea Terry. Drinks were good prices and cocktails were lovley (made by Aimee ) Pub was clean and atmosphere was nice. Coming for food next time so very exited to try the grub! thanks for a good night!

We try to always book this Pub for special meals because we know the whole visit will be of the highest standard no matter how many guests you bring

We had a wonderful evening at the Samson Blewitt Park n Friday night, food, portion size and value for money was brilliant!! Definitely will be back! Sienna was most helpful and a delightful young lady who served us.

We booked a table for 2 people but my daughter decided she wanted to come so the girl who was front of house rearranged the tables to accommodate us which we were really grateful for plus the meals were amazing

Had a table of 22 people the service was exceptional. Staff very polite and professional. The food was amazing everyone who attended gave great feed back on the food. Would definitely recommend

Went there in may to celebrate my friends 50th birthday we had a lovely time the staff were very friendly and accommodating,the food was excellent value and very nice the fish and chips looked amazing I had the skinny chicken filet which was also very nice

Came in on wednesday last week for dinner with my family, Aimee was amazing at making sure all of my needs were seen to, as i have a few allergies. She was lovley to me and the rest of my family and made us feel very welcome. Even with my allergies the food was DELICIOUS, very fully of flavour and came out lovley at hot. The overall price of the meals were great for the portion sizes, especially the kids meals! The waitress we had for the majority of the night was very accommodating, came over to make sure everything was ok with our food and also asked whilst collecting the plates aswell. (i think her name was Kelly) but she was lovely. Everyone was good with the kids, serving their food first, guiding them to the kids menu’s and the colouring pages (was very impressed with these as a lot of pub lack stuff for the childrenThank you for a great visit all!

Great food, staff are amazing, nothing is ever too much hassle, speed of service is great, food came out swift and after our plates were taken puddings came out quickly after. Thanks all x

The place was warm and inviting, and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our servers were really efficient. Food delivery was very prompt, and the food was really good, we all had exactly as ordered. Full marks to all involved.

Our kitchen was out of action due to a new floor - went on line at 11.30am to book - got 12.30 - excellent prompt service and a really tasty soup starter - 1/2 a chicken with all the trimmings - Beef with all the trimmings too. Coffee and it came to just over £30 for both. No prep or washing up and all freshly cooked.

We popped in for lunch today, greeted by staff as we walked in, we were taken to a table and started to read menus. We chose the steak lunch with a drink for £12.50. The meal was delivered and it was delicious, well presented and hot. To be honest it was excellent value for money. Staff were great and the place was spotless- no wonder it is popular.

Kid this pub use to bang but last time i went for a pint with the lads i went in and u ran out of carling like what i had a word with the manager and he said they can only give me Heineken but other than that it was decent grub from here

I would highly recommend this pub to anyone, the food is great and always comes out piping hot. The menu is varied and will suite anyone’s tastes. The staff are always polite and friendly and it always has such a good atmosphere.

Everyone in our group was extremely happy with the meals we had and the service that we received. All the meals came out together and were excellent. A number of our group had never been to Samson Blewitt before and were very impressed by every aspect of our visit. We will return!

The service and food were both outstanding as usual. They even managed to get us a couple of roast dinners for our kids even though the kitchen had stopped serving them! A big thank you to Amy - she always goes above and beyond when we see her and tonight was no exception. She's an asset to your team. Makes a fuss of our youngest, serves with a genuine smile, and she clearly enjoys her job very much. One of the reasons we keep coming back.

We came on 22nd November for my Partners birthday. All the meals were exceptional. My chicken teaka is by far, better than other restaurants in the area. My partner had a prawn cocktail and it was delicious. Our friend had the lasagna and said it was beautifuly cooked. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. ThNk you Samson Blewitt

Came in yesterday for dinner. Staff were really lovely, the food was beautiful and overall the place and atmosphere were amazing!

Never been in before but had a long day at work as was passing. Had a surf and turf which was really nice, the steak was cooked to perfection! My husband Derek had the hunters chicken and he also said that was amazing. Overall lovley place, nice staff who were really friendly and very accommodating, and the food and service were excellent.

Absolutley brilliant experience. Staff were extremely friendly and chatty. Food was excellent and did not have to wait too long for it to arrive. Food was delicious and well worth it. And the coffee & drinks were amazing 5 stars from myself and my friends x we will visit more often i honestly cant reccomend it enough x

Food was banging can’t lie. Had a really lovely fish and chips, even enjoyed the peas which usually i don’t like. Toilets was also nice, lovely decor through the whole pub give it a homely feel. Staff were amazing especially the waitress the served us for the majority of the night, didn’t catch her name but she was really funny and accommodating. Food was served swift even though it was quite busy. overall riveting experience. Fanks Blewitt!
