My son had his 18th Birthday with a few friends he said he thoroughly enjoyed it and had a great evening Thank you so much all the Staff on duty that evening I hope they were well behaved 😊

First time back at the Samson Blewitt for a meal and definitely will be returning back. Service was excellent and our meal was A maz ing. My wife had the steak pie with chips and peas, she was very impressed. I decided to go large with the Mega Mixed Grill, wow the rump steak was amazing, gammon fabulous, chicken breast fantastic. It fact, it was totally worth every penny, will be back very soon. The Chef great job 100%👍👍👍👍👍

The venue was busy and it is advisable to book a table. The food was good and hot.

Popped in for Sunday lunch, and it didn't disappoint. TV with football on tv screens around the lounge but no volume (the bar has the games on if you want to hear the commentary); this means in the lounge you can talk as a family, without the noise and the football supporters can still see the game. Food was lovely and service always with a smile. Thank you

Good place, quick service, good beer

First time visiting and the food was great…. Portion size was above average and the staff were so friendly and attentive.. we then moved to the bar and played a few games of pool and was a nice atmosphere and friendly.

We regularly est here because service is always excellent, staff are polite and happy, tables are very clean, and food is excellent, I recommend to my brother this week to eat here, I told him how great the pub is amazing food and great atmosphere.

Food is fantastic. I personally don't like Marston's pubs. But this particular pub has a fantastic vibe from the staff, they are absolutely fantastic and can't wait to help you out. The food for the price is amazing. I have eaten here a few times now with friends and they all say the same thing.

We came on 22nd November for my Partners birthday. All the meals were exceptional. My chicken teaka is by far, better than other restaurants in the area. My partner had a prawn cocktail and it was delicious. Our friend had the lasagna and said it was beautifuly cooked. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. ThNk you Samson Blewitt

I was greeted by the bar staff who used our our name, I was pleasantly surprised. Food was fab and service was excellent with everyone been really friendly. We'll definitely book again.

Love the food and the atmosphere

My friend and i visited here last night on a wim. Was very happy we did. I had the mac and cheese with peri peri chicken for 11.95. Loads of cheese and the chicken was cooked well, giving a nice kick. Came with garlic bread and salad. My mate had a hunters chicken and only issue was he would have liked more bbq sauce on it. Staff were friendly and happy. We will be going back again for sure.

Our friends could not believe how good the steaks were (we had tried to tell them) £65 for four including drinks and desserts (30% off mains with voucher) we have paid twice this in other places and the quality hasn’t been nearly as good!!!

Ordered a sharer and asked for it to come out as a starter, confirmed it at least 3 times, when it came out, it was a starter and not a sharer, been told that I would have to pay the difference even though I confirmed it at least 3 times, then the staff and who ever the guy in charge was at the time started to get a bit stroppy and then the guy in charge every time he come out of the back was staring at me, every time... got a problem I think, should be dealing with customers with an attitude like he had, never experienced anything like this before... the good thing is they brought out the sharer and said I didn't have to pay it, even though I wasn't, I did say if there's a problem I'd have a refund if he was that bothered.. food wasn't the best, had a mega mix grill, left 3/4 of it... as you can see by my reviews I don't often leave a bad one, but I won't be returning.. and will insist on friends and family not to go here... staff need customer service training... came out for a family meal for a birthday, there was 8 of us that spent a lot of money to be made felt like we was... shocking... another good point is i didn't realise that they took blue light card discount and they refunded me the discount which I was greatful for in all honesty... need to put it somewhere that you accept blue light, as just an idea

Great place well ran also good company and great place to play darts watch football and eat good food. Always a friendly welcome every time you come in best pub in Pye Green by far.

We went as a family of 6 and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Had 6 different meals and starters, all came out in good timing and tasted nice. Main meals were lovely too. On the mixed grill I'd had 2 pieces of steak and cooked lovely. Will defo be going back. Also they accept blue light card which was nice.

Food was beautiful, service fabulous, company so so, just kidding 😂 I had the salt and chilli chicken kebab and I didn't want it to end. The sherry trifle cheesecake was a perfect ending and no one noticed me licking the plate and then stashing it in my bag. Would've preferred a tablecloth but I could always bring my own. Bravo Simon and staff, will be back for more asap.

Great food, excellent service, nothing was too much trouble

So glad we found this gem of a pub. We used to always "meal out" at the same companies Chetwyn Arms. No complaints re that pub/restaurant just nowhere near as good as this one. Food is always piping hot, cooked really well. Prices are sensible but so much more affordable with the 30% off deals that come up. I've recommended to neighbours who have also had a good experience there. Staff quick to serve and I've heard bell ring in kitchen to advise food ready seconds later it's delivered to the table.

We had breakfast with Santa. The staff always go above and beyond and the pub is decorated so nicely. The food was great and service always brilliant.

As always great food and great friendly staff. Xmas food was lovely and having the table setup with crackers etc was nice. Christmas decorations are amazing too.

A hidden gem. Lovely, cheerful staff. So much hard work evident by the amazing Christmas decorations - the best I’ve seen anywhere. It’s a Marston’s pub so the menu is standard but the food’s beautifully cooked and presented, with ‘specials’ offered as well. Extremely popular (for good reason) so booking is advised. An excellent ‘find’

Booking a table was easy and the staff were helpful when I made a mistake online. All of the staff we met in the pub were really friendly and helpful, as they were on our previous visits. The food was excellent - just the right amount, top quality and tasted great!! We will definitely be coming back again and have already recommended the place to several friends. We love this place!
