Had a family trip to the Hop for their roast dinner. Absolutely gorgeous food, as always. We had roast lamb, beef and pork and all were amazing. Also sampled some puds, toffee sponge pudding and lemon tart was also just as good. A+ You’ve definitely got to try eating here. Book to ensure a table on Sunday

1st visit and definitely won't be the last. Lovely atmosphere, cosy, earthy feel and friendly service. The food was great too.

Customer friendly nice place to have a cupper and some cake . This is not the first time I have being here , when ever I go to the town I always try to go and have a cupper here.

What a beautiful breakfast - one of the best we’ve ever had… lovely little cafe opposite the brewery. Be careful about parking ask which spots you can use.

Wow!! Party of 12. Went for bottomless brunch, drinks served 45 mins after we arrived, food all arrived at different times, food was cold! Had to go to bar for drinks after another 30 mins. Absolutely do NOT recommend this. Awful service and I feel so bad for the young girl who was serving us.

The waitresses were amazed, I dropped off a cake for after our meal, and balloons for the table, which they did for me. All our meals were delicious and tasty. Great service and a good price. Thank you everyone

Went to the pub to watch Liverpool vs arsenal match and had the Mac and cheese. It was lovely and the staff are so friendly.

Although the food was very nice it was soured by the standard of table we were given. We had to stare at a brick wall which made it very difficult to have a conversation. They refused to move us as they needed space between tables yealt we were placed very close to a table of 9 people. The waitresses kept knocking the chair of my disabled friend causing her great discomfortable. Will never go again

Myself and partner celebrated our birthdays here with a Sunday roast and drinks with friends and family. There were over 20 of us in total and everyone said how lovely the food was. Great portion sizes. Home cooked and all orders came out one after the other. Service was amazing. Thanks all. We had the best afternoon.
