The Veeg Shack in Swindon

1st visit and definitely won't be the last. Lovely atmosphere, cosy, earthy feel and friendly service. The food was great too.

Really lovely place! Warm welcome, cool interior, GREAT food. Played scrabble, drank milkshakes and ate top notch grub. Neither me or my friend are vegan and found this absolutely yummy. Even the outdoor area is lovely, will definitely be coming again!

I can’t recommend this place enough. Vegan or not, the food is epic. Service is friendly & personal. Location is quaint and relaxed. BYO. Brill!

My first visit but definitely not my last! Why, oh why, did I take so long to call in. Everyone was so friendly and the food so yummy. I had crunchy deep fried mushrooms on a bed of leaves with a perfect pot of mayo. I thought that would be enough until I heard there was cheesecake! I’ll be back.

Fantastic service and a fantastic meal, the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the carbonara and the homemade chips :)

I am a regular visitor to the Veeg Shack because of its lovely atmosphere and great food. I am not a full time practising vegan but enjoy the menu put on by the Veeg Shack and the atmosphere, vibe is great for a pit stop on a buzy day. Decent variety of hot and cold drinks and the outdoor garden is nice if it's warm. Recommended the soups and the 'Notdog'.

I heard about this place on Facebook & thought I definitely need to try the Friday fish night. It was gorgeous & well worth the 90 minute drive. We went again to try the normal evening meal & again the food was lush. We will definitely go again.

An absolute gem in the middle of Swindon. Such a lovely atmosphere and environment. Nice to have board games and things to encourage kids and adults to spend a bit longer there and enjoy the experience. Good selection and quality of food and drinks too.

Small community vibe restaurant with limited seating, offering an assortment of yummy fast food and tasty cakes. A great stop in Swindon if you want vegan fast food. They also sell local art and have a book swap scheme, and host community events. Such a great place!

You need to try the food here it is insanely amazing! Today I had the lion mane mushroom steak! My friend had the burger. Out of this world! Amy is amazing and so welcoming. It just gets better every single time when it’s already the best restaurant!

This was my fourth visit to this café/restaurant. Can not reccomend this place enough, the place is clean and lovely and cosy, the owner is polite and friendly and really gives great customer service. The food is top notch, and have visited with omnivores, vegetarian and vegan friends - all have enjoyed the food and said how well cooked and tasty the offerings are. The food is really great value as well, and all menu items have a wonderful 'home cooked to the highest standard' taste. Particular highlights to try are the hotdogs and the cheesecake. This visit we had the apple/maple syrup pastry with custard from the specials board. Was beautiful, light but also a perfect autumn comfort food. Would have taken pictures of our meals, but we were too busy eating them! Also to note - the café displays art from local creators that are for sale. I did manage to take a picture of the lovely print I bought. There's all types of art on display, something for everyone.

The food is absolutely amazing guarantee you'll enjoy the food even if your not vegan. My favourite so far is the burger, but I'm eating my way through the menu.

Unexpected gem in Swindon. Brilliant selection of vegan food, the burger was delicious and the cupcakes on the counter were so good! Portions are large and very reasonably priced. The staff are lovely too 😊
