Fantastic food, brilliant friendly staff and a great selection and menu. Not the cheapest but then you definitely get what you pay for.

We sat outside at the back of the cafe, half of the seating area was shaded if you don't like to much sun, watching the swans on the fishing lake, very relaxing. Food was lovely and the staff are friendly. Will definitely go back again. Free parking at the front.

Had a very nice brunch, it's like a little Cheney Manor oasis.

Comfortable place with a lovely outdoor seating area, near the water. Lots of choice for food, drink and sweet goodies. At least one breakfast option for those who eat only plant-based. Restroom facilities wonderfully clean!

Lovely food, best omelette I’ve had in years, nice friendly staff and on a warm day you can sit outside and eat by the river. Will definitely go there again.

Have just had a brilliant breakfast at Nexus. Everything freshly cooked served on hot plates.,staff very helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend.

My husband and I went today we had the most amazing filter coffee , not too strong, which is great as I drink my coffee black. My husband had a slice of quiche and I had the most amazing tiramasui cake. We went late so the cafe was quiet which was nice not too busy. Service great. Been here before so I wanted to show hubby what a gem it is.

Came in today for the first time and thought food and service was excellent. We will definitely be making a return visit very soon.

The food is very good, but it's expensive. The prices on the site are incorrect. Add about £3 per meal.

Have been using this place for ages!! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else for a lovely breakfast. All the staff are lovely I ordered the whole workplace a breakfast last week and Emma even helped me carry it back due to there being so much.

A very pleasant place to eat. The atmosphere is friendly like the staff. The food was simple but well cooked. Good choice of simple dishes and cakes too.

Popped in while having a tyre done today, what a hidden gem! Staff were very friendly and helpful, prices very reasonable, Food was amazing, fresh, tasty (4 of us had 4 different meals and all were excellent) we sat in the shade outside next to the beautiful canal.

Lovely hidden gem. Once you're inside you forget that you are in an industrial estate. Lovely decking by a lagoon and great, friendly service. Good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. We popped in for a coffee.

Was here for lunch while waiting for tyre repair. it is busy during lunch time. Staff are helpful in f getting seats for us. Finally arranged us to sit by the window that can see the stream. Food was served hot as the plates were heated. We ordered a big all day breakfast and was sufficient for two. Good restaurant

A real surprise along the road from the Swindon recycling centre. Nicely presented , Great food at sensible prices , and a gorgeous waterside verandah , where you can watch the wildlife while enjoying a coffee. Took friends recently, and it blew their socks off 👍😁

We often have breakfast/lunch at Nexus and are never disappointed. Always such lovely friendly service & the food is fantastic! Spoilt for choice with the menu, beautiful homemade salad/deli/cakes. Far superior to an average chain cafe. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food at reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly and the place has quite a contemporary feel to it. The outdoor seating area is great in the summer. I loved it here and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was here.

Cannot give star for food as didn't have anything but it all looked good. So next time I will eat. You should advertise as it was an unexpected venue to find such a lovely place. Taken there by a friend but will be recommending it.

First time I had used the cafe. Very clean and bright, quick service and nice staff.

I absolutely love this hidden gem. It's like another town, overlooking an absolutely beautiful part of the canal. Has its own lil family of swans. Please go and visit, my kids love this place.

Had a fabulous lunch here yesterday, the food was excellent, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the premises spotless. Was just passing through and sadly live too far away to visit again; might have to move!

Wow !!!! Nexus club sandwich!!!!

Visited today with my parents. Lovely place. Ordered the cheeseburger and chips which was divine. Impressed with my mum's baguette, I ordered a cheese, ham and coleslaw myself to take away. Currently eating it on the train back home and delicious. Thank you.

This place is amazing! Everything I have had so far has been tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and when there has been something I have wanted that they didn’t have at the time, they have remembered this and advised I could call and ask for this particular food and they would have it ready for me when I come in. Great customer service. The outside area is lovely too. I would highly recommend!

Food is incredible! View out the back makes you forget you're in the middle of an industrial estate.

First time here last week. Huge breakfast, all cooked beautifully, sausages were lovely, no trouble in changing items for something else. All round, a lovely clean cafe with lovely staff and food. I shall definitely be back. Great job guys, keep up the good work.

Decent food actually, I had the signature club sandwich and that was worth it.

I have had the big breakfast the plate was full hot and tasty the sausages are gluten free and tangy delicious. The staff are friendly and take pride in their work.

First visit today and wasn’t disappointed. Food came out quickly and piping hot . The big breakfast was fantastic and my partner enjoy the vegetarian breakfast

I found this place via Google read the reviews and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and nice and the premises were spotless. I took the day off to relax as l had been working for a few months non stop and this place was a God send. I chose to eat outside next to the river and felt relaxed instantly. I will definitely be back.

Best cafe for breakfast in Swindon staff are brilliant and so is the food

I'm going to go against the grain here.. I didn't enjoy my breakfast. I had the big breakfast and a latte. The latte was stronger than I expected but good coffee. The breakfast I felt was a let down, especially for the price (£10 big breakfast). It looked great when it arrived but that's where it stopped. The sausages were a bit weird and too 'meaty', the eggs a bit oily and tasteless and the hash browns a salty. We both felt disappointed with what we ate. Maybe just our poor luck, but I'd probably not go back.

Clean, tidy, COVID safe, bright and airy, outdoor seating next to a body of water, great choice of food both hot and cold. Doesn't open weekends sadly. Ring ahead to book a table. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Service is fantastic,prompt and very friendly. Breakfast as always freshly cooked and bought to your table promptly and efficiently. The place is sparkling clean and Covid rules implemented. would highly recommend.

I’ve visited here a few times now, with friends, family and on my own.Quite honestly some of the friendliest people, loveliest, well priced food and nicest location to eat, I have been to in Swindon. Weather permitting, if you eat at the rear of the cafe outside,it’s beautiful and in such an unexpected location, like walking into Narnia and a wonderful place to just get away to. Love it every time.So glad I found it

Went for Breakfast, which was fabulous. Great, friendly service and the food was fresh and oh, so tasty. If you want a good cooked breakfast you will not find better in Swindon.

These are the most fabulous bunch of staff. Very friendly and helpful even when extremely busy.The food is always lovely and a good choice or regular items and daily changing options.Always clean and tidy too. Thoroughly recommendedI’m veggie and there are always options including great salads.

Always a nice place to have breakfast or lunch. I work upstairs and in the time I've been coming to the cafe the staff have always been very kind and quick serving orders.

Nice place, good service. A little pricey for the size of the coffees but that's me nit picking. Coffee is quite strong/dark for my liking but normal for illy coffee.

I now work in the Nexus building & been in the Cafe every day in my first week.Food is fresh & perfectly presented, great choice and reasonably priced, lighter portion options also available.Another bonus, the staff are so warm and friendly.Had a club sandwich today and was truly the best I've ever had - delish.

Avoided this place for years - looked rather corporate - how wrong can you be ? Brilliant , great food , super coffee and very pleasant when you’re inside or on the waterside terrace. A must !!!!

I can’t praise this cafe enough. It’s in an unusual location as it was built to provide for the neighbouring business community, but anyone is welcome. My wife and I dropped in after dropping some things off at the nearby recycling centre. This was our first visit and the experience was exceptionally good. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and a good price (my wife had the small cooked breakfast and a glass of milk, and I had a ‘gourmet’ salad; all for less than a tenner !). Very clean. Bright atmosphere. Comfortable seating. I wish every cafe could achieve these standards. Highly recommend if you want freshly prepared hot or cold food at a reasonable price, or even just a drink. Well done, Cafe Nexus !

Hidden gem in Swindon. Food is almost like home made. Bit pricy but worth every penny spend.

This cafe is very smart and spacious - everything is extremely clean. We had a really good breakfast there & enjoyed reading the magazines they keep for sharing. Very relaxing.

Lovely staff, great food, good choice, not expensive and sweet little riverside location with outside seating - not at all what you'd expect to find in an office block in the middle of Swindon and it's open to the public! What a find!
