Excellent Sunday lunch. Very busy so had a late lunch at 3 o clock. We both had the beef, which was really good. Rare and tasty. Well cooked veg, Yorkshire pudding, with all the trimmings. Well kept Guinness and herself had a generous glass of zinfandel. All very nice indeed and well served. No wonder they were that busy, including dogs and family friendly.

Amazing food taste wise and portions. Fab service - staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Great choice of food on the menu. We had the calamari to start. The coating was crispy and the calamari was tender. The special of the day was chicken and mushroom risotto. This was delicious. Very flavourful, good ratio of chicken, mushroom to the risotto. Hubby was very happy. The crispy pork belly, sage and butter crushed potatoes and mixed veg (I swapped out the black pudding) with apple and vanilla gravy was amazing. The venue was very clean, tidy and spacious. The staff were dressed smartly. A great venue for any day occasion.

We've been here many times with our 2 sons, my mother and her Yorkshire Terrier. Always a warm welcome, nice and relaxed and a great choice of food for everyones tastes. The cook even let my sons watch him preparing the food through a hatch at the back of the cafe. Nothing too much trouble.

I absolutely love marshfield ice cream it's made near to where we live but dont see it much in our area unless you go to a farm shop or garden centre. Wide selection of flavours and you had my favourite which is chocoholic heaven and I had a chocolate star in it. Very friendly lady serving will definitely return

Don’t expect the online shop to deliver! They must have Ga, Ga, Ga, Granville on his pushbike making the deliveries. They are a joke!! Would not deliver over £20 shopping just over the Severn Bridge to South Wales even though I offered to pay the extra postage. But don’t worry try Waring’s Bakery Reading as they deliver to Wales and also Food For Thought in Northamptonshire delivers to Wales. Not Winnie’s though, the end of the street and just down the one cul de sac is the delivery limitation. But they have an online store??? SHUT IT DOWN! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

Went with my husband and daughter, on more than one occasion to this little café A true Gem, staff are always very helpful and cheerful, The cakes are amazing, I have tried to resist but find them too tempting, and unlike some cakes that look lovely but taste is disappointing, these are gorgeous in looks and taste, last time myself and daughter tried the courgette and lime, while my husband had coffee and walnut, both were very tasty, along with an unusual but delicious Mumbai chai, highly recommended. All in all a very nice eating experience with the backdrop of surrounding woodland, and stream that runs past.

The reviews sounded great but we were shocked by the prices compared to all our local bakeries. This places wants around £2 for a basic cake. And they were all in small portion sizes. Sandwiches/subs £3.50 and didn’t look worth it. Sausage rolls nothing to write home about. Tasteless meat without any seasoning. Cakes tasty enough in the end but not impressed with size or cost. High cost quite surprising given that Highbridge appears to be quite a poor area.
